      This also means that they will both be tired and more likely to crash out of Wimbledon early. But getting a WTA 500 title is a great achievement, certainly well worth the energy they put into it.

    • @alpinescope4441
      @alpinescope4441 3 месяца назад +3

      She went to NC State probably just to have a base outside of Russia. She never stopped playing professional tennis. In fact, during the year 2022-2023 when she was enrolled at NC State, she improved her WTA ranking from well out of 100 to the 60's. There was no "transition". She was a professional tennis player pretending to play college tennis. Good for her that she returned to Russia. Apparently whatever the reason that propelled her to go to NC State is no longer needed.

    Schnaider or Russian Šnajder is from the region along the Volga river, where the Russian tsarina Catherine the Great inhabited German population from Germany a few centuries ago. The tsarina was German but conversed to the orthodox church. But Diana was born in the city named after the Italian communist Palmiro Togliatti, namely Togliatti, on the banks of the greatest European river Volga.
