    • @shunz5677

      USOpen and AO are much faster than Doha. So very big disadvantage for Iga.

    • @TheAgatabb
      @TheAgatabb 3 месяца назад

      Each tournament is a different challenge and Doha was at the start of the season. She did not have much time to play or prep for US Open after the Olympics which were her main priority. Winning an Olympic medal must been a huge emotional experience for all medalists and she'll have another chance next year 💪

      @@shunz5677 She won USO in '22 in great style by defeating Pegula, Sabalenka, Ons who where year-ending #3, #5 and #2. She won because she did not play much between Wimbledon and USO, so she was more rested than her opponents. Year 23 and 24 were opposite. Of course court speed is a factor but not so big as resting, she won in Miami , get to Toronto and Cincinnati SF, Dubai final, AO '22 semifinal, USO '22 championship - this are all fast courts so her potential is at least semifinal on fast hc. This year USO finalist were 2 most rested top 8 players, Pegula who did not play on clay, and Sabalenka who skipped both Wimbledon and OG.

    I'm curious how they pronounce Kasatkina? Kasatkayna too? You don't have to speak Russian to get a grip on those names. Particularly if your job is to comment their matches. How hard it is to check how to correctly pronounce 2 names (it's not a football team, you know), and those are top players? Maddening and kaynda disrespectful.

    Mr commentator, It's not "Rybaykina", it's Rybakina. Please... I'm a Swiatek fan, but Rybakina is a world class tennis player. Please learn her name and justify the money you get payed for commentating. I find you mispronouncing her name offensive and disrespectful. After all it's supposed to be your job... Sad.

    One of the few tournaments that the WTA lets the real number 1 (polish, cap, male forehand, best footwork ever) play freely and win, cause the WTA likes to arrange tournaments like the US Open 2021/AUS Open 2023/US Open 2023/AUS Open 2024/US Open 2024, the english speaking Grand Slams/others are FORBIDDEN FOR HER, they don't want another season like the 2022 one, now for them it's more important to promote WOKE players or players of a tomboy behaviour/skin color or even sexualized players, the real number 1 is playing in the WORST ERA, where talent IS DISCRIMINATED and STEROIDS USERS of the past and present are protected and covered. These "consolation prizes" are a disrespect for her, the tennis fans and to tennis itself. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. CHRISTUS VINCIT, CHRISTUS IMPERAT. DEUS BENEDICAT TIBI.
