Hello, I came across your video because we were also planning to stay here during our trip in the following months. Such a beauty ryokan from what you've shown in your video! Thanks for sharing 😊. I do have a few questions, if you don't mind me asking? Is the travel there easy? We are going there from Tokyo, but I'm not sure exactly how to navigate. If you can explain the process to which transportation methods you took, I'd appreciate it. As well as is it just the particular room that youve booked that it had in room dining? Thank you!
Yes there are many room types, but 2 room types- Asumi and Fukuchi - that have dining room. We booked the Fukuchi A because the view and outdoor area of Fukuchi A is better. For transportation, you can google from your station to Fujisan station, aka Mt.Fuji station. From there you can explore around Mt.Fuji. You have to call the hotel to pick you up at your preferred time in Mt.Fuji station. All the best to your trip! Enjoy the wonderful memories!
@BlessedLifeKT Shame all the Asumi rooms were booked so we just went with the mizuho room regardless the garden and atmosphere of the place seems pleasantly appealing so will be looking forward to it. Thank you very much for the response!
Beautiful video! Thank you so much for creating this. Do you have any tips on how to book this room? Which website did you book it on? The official bessho sasa website seems a little buggy.
Hi, thank you! We booked this on Expedia, the room is Fukuchi A Japanese Western Room with Open Air Bath, Mt. Fuji View. I recommend booking 2-3 months in advance, if it is fully booked, keep looking every day, sometimes someone will cancel their booking and you can jump in right away
no you do not have to, if I remember correctly, it will be around 1-3pm ish, before check in time. So I recommend you to get to the ryokan as early as 1pm to experience it
@@BlessedLifeKT thanks, by the way the hotel mentions they provides a pick-up service on request, did you go to the hotel by yourself or did you use this service, if you used it did it cost anything extra?
日本に来ていただいてありがとうございます。優雅で落ちついた旅ですね。品のいいお二人が、紅葉の中でとても素敵でした。🎉🎉🎉
