Canik Rival S vs Canik Rival | Which should you buy?

"Just add weight [to the regular Rival] and it would shoot the same. Yup...that's just what I did. Managed to get a brand new Rival for $560 (using various coupons/sale..)...then online got a brass backstrap and brass mag well that both added a nice amount of weight (so ;likely shoots almost exactly same) and made the gun look super-cool. The options together were about 200, so brought the cost to close to the same...but whatever..it's just an option for Rival owners who want to step up an already great gun!

Did that to mine and added a Rune Tactical full length guide rod and a 11# recoil spring, tamed the recoil.

Rival S feels alot heavier and thus slower to transition, polymer feels better weighted and more natural and easier in comfort.

I've heard this quite a bit from many different shooters. It seems polymer seems to be the go to among pistols that have an equivalent polymer version.
