Hi Gareth, what a stunning new permission you have. It's a brilliant day detecting you've had, and the permission looks promising 👌 I love the token it's in good condition. The silver brooch is beautiful 😍 keep up the good work and I'll see you on the next 👍
Ayup Stephen how are you doing mate? Thanks as always for coming along, I hope you and Dawn are OK and getting ready for Christmas? Yes this new permission looks good and its a great place to be. Got a couple more videos filmed here, finds are already becoming harder to make, but that is always the case as a pasture detectorist. Wouldn't have it any other way though :)
Hi there, I spend a lot of time and hard work trying to find permissions like this. You will notice that most of my permissions are like this and most of my videos are filmed at locations like this. I love the great outdoors and I love beautiful scenery. And I sure do love metal detecting at places like this. Thanks for your kind words and thanks for watching. G
Hi mate, thanks, yeah another dream day metal detecting for me, some really beautiful and interesting finds have been coming up off this place - I am hoping this is where I might find my first ever gold ring !!
Hi buddy, thanks as always for your kind and positive feedback. Yeah this was a while back, and I am very much looking forward to some winter visits here to see if I can get a little deeper with the cooler and damper conditions
Hi mate, yeah its a beautiful piece of land and has all the things I look for in a new permission. When I first laid eyes on this place, I knew it would have some amazing treasures. I have visited this place 4 or 5 times now and had some awesome finds
Great vid as per usual , with some choice finds. I much prefer pure detecting , without the "I have found Gold again" approach. The Fan brooch is hallmarked for 1887, and is in the Aesthetic-Japanese taste. The maker is probably Richard John Wakefield , based in Brum.
Hi Richard, thanks very much for your kind words, and also for taking time out your day to watch this video. I have not found any gold for around 18 months now, so I am long over due something !! 10 years deep into this hobby and still I am waiting for my first gold ring. Thanks so much for the info on the hallmarks. Hope to see you on my next episode
Hi mate, thanks for tuning in and watching this episode. Yeah its a great piece of land and in a great area. A lot of people detect round here though, so finding undetected places is not easy. I hope to uncover some more awesome finds here, see you on my next episode. G
Good going Gareth. Congrats on the silvers. That fan is something else. Great token in the coin count. Nice ridge and furrow permission too. You are going to have lots of fun there. Take care mate 🦘🦘😁👍
Hi Andrew, yeah its a great little piece of land, but it has quickly become much harder to find signals. I have since found my 1 and only silver hammered of 2024 on this very permission. Thanks as always for the channel visit
Another brilliantly executed video, great content. Your hard work paid off .Loved the finds, interesting last silver find, keep us posted if you get any info on it Gareth. Loved the shopping and the token . Keep em coming !!
Hi mate, again thanks so much for your kind words. I know uploads have been thin on the grounds on my channel this year, seems to take me longer and longer to edit each video. But I keep plodding on and I do work really hard in the little time I get to enjoy my hobbies
Hi Phillip oh yes you can't beat that brand new permission feeling, like opening up that games console on Christmas day haha. Thanks for watching, have a great Christmas
Hi, good finds all round mate the fan brooch is a little belter as for the silver annular brooch it looks to crisp and neat to be Medieval it looks like it has been pressed out by heavy machinery far to neat but still a good find all the same , looks like those new fields could well hold some very nice secrets the token was in good nick and the Vicky shilling was a lovely find, good upload mate best wishes Rob .
Ayup mate, yeah I totally agree about the round brooch being modern, but I am still yet to have a positive ID / confirmation - probably cuz I haven't asked anyone yet haha. This is a wonderful patch of land and I'm sure there's more interesting history to be found there. Cheers for the channel visit
What an awesome day on the new permission cracking finds with good weather and scenery. Loved the Queen Victoria shilling belter of a find and well done in your other silvers and finds. Can't wait now to get on my new permission all pasture as well. Take care mate.
Hi John, yeah I got really lucky with this new permission, it has all the things I look for - ridge & furrow, old footpaths, beautiful scenery & views and its close to civilisation. I always know I will make finds at locations like this. I have since re-visited 4 or 5 more times and had some more awesome finds - including that hammered coin which I uploaded a few weeks ago. Thanks for the channel visit
Here we are Gareth descending into winter and you come up with a spring day out and what a day it was.Great finds ,drone footage and a possible medieval ring brooch. Was there a mark on the pin of the brooch? Well done once again.
Hey Dave, haha I have a whole bunch of days filmed from this year, I even have some from 2022 and 2023. So always have something to edit and get stuck into. I have a big backlog of stuff as I am not uploading every week anymore. The brooch did look like it had some kind of mark on it. As always thanks for watching
Wow. Well done you. Beautiful fan brooch, and other finds. Looks like its gonna be a good perm for you. Lovely to see some sun too as we're going into cold weather. Looking forward to next video's. X
Hi there, as always thanks so much for watching and commenting. This is looking like a great permission, had some fascinating finds from here from 5 or 6 visits already. I would love to imagine there might be a gold ring hiding here somewhere among the wavey fields :) See you on my next episode X
Hi mate, thanks for tuning in and watching this episode, and for leaving your positive feedback. This is such a great piece of land, love metal detecting here. Catch you on the next episode. G
Hello, I always appreciate your comments and your views, I appreciate it so much. Totally agree, a great day out even with no finds, although no finds = no metal detecting video. I aim to make 10 or 12 finds before going home, that saves more finds in the fields for other visits :)
Hi buddy, ah thanks man, always appreciate your positive comments. Spring is a beautiful time in the UK, but so is Autumn and Winter, and Summer :) Thanks as always for watching, hope to see you on my next episode. G
Hiya Gareth. Maria here 🍀 Let's hope I've got it right this time 🙄. Beautiful silver Victoria ,the drone work is ace and the camera angles 👍 stunning brooch That pheasants head wasn't very lucky for the bird 😂😂 but it did find another piece of silver 👍 New permissions are as always very exciting 👍 Thanks very much for sharing Stay lucky 👍 M 🍀
Hi Maria, you definitely got it right this time haha. We've all done that before, think ya commenting on a video, but its finished and automatically gone on to someone's else's video which you then end up commenting on instead haha. Thank you for your kind words, I love sending my drone up to view the land from above and seeing what I can capture. Thanks so much for the channel visit. G
Hi Suzanne, yes its a lovely bit of land which ticks a lot of my boxes. Not the biggest plot in the world, but it should keep me occupied for a couple of years :) Catch you on the next episode. G
Hi Paul, thanks so much for tuning in to this episode. It really is a great patch of land, had some really good hunts here and found my 1 and only silver hammered of 2024 here :) Hope to catch you on my next episode. G
Hi mate, yeah I've always been drawn to ridge & furrow fields and always had great success. Its a great bit of land and ticks all the attributes I look for where I know I'll make lots of finds. Thanks for the channel visit
Hi Terry, great to hear from you, feel like I not seen you on my channel for a long time. I hope you are doing well? Thanks so much for your kind words. I tend to spend quite a lot of time editing them now, cutting out all the un-necessary bits, and cropping stuff etc. Its good fun and become another hobby for me. I just don't get enough time for my hobbies though haha
I'm still here mate, just seems to take me an eternity to create a video at the moment. Got a huge backlog of videos to work through. This one was filmed back in April 🤦 Been looking forward to uploading this one ever since 😁
An absolute great video with some amazing finds, I remember you finding these items, them broaches were lovely, and the Vicky shilling was a stunner as well. All three are display items, and tbh the medieval looking broach looks quite possibly old as medieval, the pin in the only thing I question and how small it is compared to the hole, but I maybe wrong. Keep up the amazing work and hope the family are doing well 😃
@@TheDukesOfDerbyshire you got any close up pictures, I'm really curious about it, I believe it might be medieval but the pin doesn't look right to me that's the only problem
Hi mate, as always thanks for your kind words and support. This was an awesome day for me, probably my best detecting day of 2024. Catch you on my next episode. G
Hi Gary, cheers mate, a real good day in the office for me. Thanks as always for coming along and tuning in. Eeh its December, hope you all set for Christmas?
Amazing days detecting…..love the token….the shilling is a stunning coin….the rest is just mind blowing….very good fields and good luck on your next dig….well done.
Hi there, thanks so much for watching and for your awesome comments. Its a great little permission which seems to be full of all sorts of weird and wonderful finds. Can't wait for a few more visits here. Catch you on my next episode. G
Hi there, thanks so much for tuning in and watching. I do love Spring time in Britain, but it can get a bit on the warm side for me. Much prefer my autumnal and winter time metal detecting :)
Fantastic video (& video-making) thanks 🙏🏻 mate - and what a superb session that was! Always loved the veil-head, and lovely to find a silver of her thusly... 😍 Fan-brooch is amazing like you said - out of interest, was it found in that fan-shaped field? 😅 But yeah, that annular brooch at the end: You've prob. sussed it by now? but my 2 cents is, that it might be a 'tell' that it has no hallmarks? Hallmarks apparently began (in the UK) in the late 1600's - so it could definitely pre-date that, (unless the maker found it too fine/thin to put the marks on). Anyways, brilliant stuff mate, and thanks again, B 🐭
Hi mate, as always thank you so much for your kind words and support. I always try to make my videos slightly different from the millions of other channels out there. I think I did actually find that brooch in the fan shaped field. 3 of the 4 fields have given up silver finds, I am determined to find some silver in the other field. Thanks again and catch you on my next episode. G
Hi mate, wow that's some compliment there, in this day n age where there are more metal detecting RUclips channels than there are people on planet Earth! Obviously I don't agree, but thank you so much!! Its comments like this that are the reason why I continue to do what I do. If I didn't spend all week at work and have all the other commitments and responsibilities that life throws at me, then I'd be uploading 2 or 3 videos a week :) But for now I will keep trying to fit in my RUclips channel and my metal detecting in amongst my exceptionally busy life. Thanks again for your awesome comments. Gareth
Hi mate, yes never get bored of that new permission feeling! It is a never ending struggle constantly trying to find new places like this. Thanks for the channel visit and for tuning in, hope to see you on my next episode
Great to see you back Gareth you Henry and a couple of other people have been giving me time out as lost my younger sister couple of weeks. Ago not been out but looking forward to it when I’m in a good place thank you 🙏 shaune in Kent 👍
Hi Shaune, very sorry to hear the loss of your sister, that is very sad to hear. Life can be cruel and tough at times, full of ups and downs, but unfortunately this is part of life, we are all born and we all die - some sooner than others. Make the most out of life as it can be gone in an instant. Apologies for the late reply
Hi Paul, thanks for tuning in to watch this episode. Ye the fan brooch was a really nice find, and now sits in my glass display cabinet. Love finding stuff like that - unique and different
Hi mate, yeah this is a great little permission, love spending time here and can't wait to go back. Those Manticore screens are awesome to be fair, can't fault them. Lot of cash to spend though. I rely more on the sound of a machine rather than the visuals
Yes yes yes, everything was just perfect, the weather (if a little warm), the views, the scenery, the wildlife, the finds and the feeling of excitement and exploration of a new permission. I have since been back here 4 or 5 times and had a whole bunch more awesome finds :) Thanks so much for watching
Hellooo, thanks for tuning in as aways. This new permission is a great patch and lovely place to spend a Saturday morning or Sunday afternoon. I am sure there is more nice finds to be found here, can't wait to get back. Still not confirmed the age of that brooch/buckle thing. One for the FLO I think. See you on my next episode, sorry for the slow reply
Hi mate, yeah this was one of those awesome days metal detecting, it made me feel good been out there and really helped re-motivate my enthusiasm for the hobby. 2024 has been my hardest years in this hobby, due to work, family and life commitments etc
@@TheDukesOfDerbyshire mate , tell me about it , i moved ten years ago , married and have a little boy of Six , he is beautiful , he is a searcher though we struggle to find anywhere to go in West Sussex , it changed hugely down the south over the past 15 years , i started detecting about 40 years ago , my dad over 60 years ago , things were quite different back then! Its a balance mate , enjoy your family and detecting. Dont be a slave to work , i am , always have been. Glad your doing a bit though , makes it all worthwhile when we watch you films and remember those moments of finding great things , happy christmas buddy , may you and family have a wonderful time. May 2025 be fantastic for you . best wishes Mark
@markstonard1962 I am definitely a slave to work, but I have to be to put a roof over our head and food on the table and all that. We all are, and that is the life we live. Metal detecting has changed, it isn't a hobby anymore, its a business. Far too many individuals look to line their own pockets. Getting permissions gets tougher and tougher. My next episode is alnost complete. Thanks again for your kind words, may you and your family have a great Christmas
Hi Michael, as always thanks for tuning in and for your awesome comments. You are right, the land and the conditions were superb, as were the finds - an all round awesome day. Can't wait to get back on this permission during the winter season
Brilliant video Gareth, a few lovely pieces of silver, love the fan design on that brooch. Yet to find a milled shilling/crown myself, keep them coming mate! - Jake :D
Hi Jake how are you doing mate? Thanks for the channel visit and for checking out this episode. It always amazes me how different areas of the country produce wildly different finds - ie I find tonnes and tonnes of pre decimal coins, where as you find tonnes and tonnes of hammered silver coins
Hi mate, the sounds of nature and the church bells in the distance were absolute bliss. This was one of them days where I just LOVE what I do. Incredible weather, incredible scenery, incredible views, incredible finds, great shots, everything was just perfect while out exploring a brand new permission. I have been back here 4 or 5 times more and had more awesome finds!!
Hi mate, thanks as always for the channel visit and for watching. This was probably my best detecting day of the year. It has not been my most spectacular year, far from it in fact. But its been stead like :)
Hi there, thanks very much for visiting my channel and watching this video. I did go over and have a look at Digging Deep Detecting and watched one of his videos. Don't really follow many American channels, but it is cool to see what those guys find over there
Haha I'm not sure I would count the poor pheasants head as a dream find, but its the first and only one I've ever found in my life, which makes it a lot rare to find than a gold coin haha. Thanks so much for taking time out your day to watch. Hope to see you on some of my 300 other metal detecting videos
Hi mate, good to hear from you, I hope you are doing OK? I always say a long break from this hobby does wonders!! Yeah I've been smashing out the silvers in the last few months, I reckon I'm up to about 25 for the year, pretty poor by my standards, but I not been detecting much this year. Take it easy dude
Hello and greetings, thanks so much for visiting my channel and watching this video. Also, thanks for your kind words. I hope to see you on my next episode
Hey James, thanks mate, this was a real great day for me, and a day which kinda re-vitalised me, as I was struggling with the hobby and struggling with my channel. Since this day, I've been so much better! Still struggling with time to edit and upload stuff, my life is way too busy and stressful. But I am still here and still plodding on with the channel. G
Hi Allan, yeah those are beautiful coins to find, and 1 of my top bucket listers is the Florin version, very rarely do you see them found detecting. Thanks as always for tuning in, hope to see you on my next episode. G
Hi mate, yes this new permission really brought my fondness back for the hobby and my channel. Had some cracking finds here, but after several visits, I am now struggling to continue to make the finds. Its a never ending struggle trying to find new land and productive land
New permission and triple silver!!! Well done. It's great to see you with so much enthusiasm again.. That token is amazing, too... I'm not sure about the possible medieval silver.. you'll have to do more research into it. I dont know how you manage to detect in a white t-shirt, and keep it clean. Lol. Great video in an amazing location 👏
Hi mate, I am just the 1 month behind on replies at the moment woop! Yes I was definitely feeling enthusiastic on this one, great new land and great finds. I feel like I have detected this place pretty heavily already after 4 or 5 visits, but when I see the drone footage in my newest video, I look so tiny in those fields haha. Thanks as always for your view
Hi there, thanks so much for your very kind words, I really appreciate that. For a long time now I have had my own style of content that I upload - but this can be very time consuming, both filming and especially editing. But I really enjoy seeing what I can capture on my incredible days out metal detecting and seeing what I can create with that content :) Thanks again for your kind words and thanks for watching. Gareth
Top video bud ,Stunning silver found there bud as soon as you found the third silver my thoughts was a Annular Brooch and it’s a post medieval one just found a picture , cracking find 👍
Ayup Shawn how are you doing mate? As always thanks for tuning in and as always sorry for the slow reply. Aye this was a great day, probably my best session of 2024. Are you all set for Christmas? I'm hoping to get some festive sessions in
@ hey up buddy ,Nah never ready for Xmas always last minute in our house 🤣 ,Definitely looking forward to breaking up next Friday then hopefully out over the Xmas period if the weather permits ,all the best mate 👍
Hi there, thanks for your very kind words, I really appreciate that. I try to upload as often as I can, but I spend a lot of time and effort on each video so it takes a while to complete them. I just use Program 3 - Sensi FT on my Deus2, no alterations. I am using Firmware version 0.71 - which in my opinion is the best Firmware. Thanks again and hope to see you on my next episode. G
Hi Andy, its really funny you should ask that question, as last Saturday I filmed a video asking that very question, and metal detected a tiny field I never detected before to see if I could find some coins 😁
Hi Jillian how are you doing? Are you looking forward to Christmas this year? I am ready for a break from my job! Thanks so much for tuning in to watch this episode
Round silver brooch like that were traded to the native Americans here for animal furs during the fur trade period. That was roughly in the 1700s. My guess would be more of that era than medieval. But don't take my word for it. I'm no professional!
Hi there, thanks very much for visiting my channel and watching this video. That is an interesting theory you have there, thanks so much for your input. I hope to see you on my channel again on some of my 300 other metal detecting videos
Always been curious about the agreement between detectorist and land owner. Reportable finds are split monetarily if they are declared treasure but the agreements say any finds of value are split so how do you deal with single coin finds? Finds that are not declarable?
Hi there, thanks very much for visiting my channel, taking time to watch this video and to offer your feedback. You ask a great question there. There has only been 1 case where I had to pay a landowner 50% of the value of a single coin find. That was a gold Half Guinea which I found early 2023. In fact the video to that find can be found here if you wish to see: ruclips.net/video/tc4ZKIx4hPs/видео.htmlsi=g371NES4ayGGcm6i I showed the landowner and he was interested in keeping it. I offered him a pile of cash in order for me to keep it and he agreed. Usually landowners have no interest in what I find, unless its incredibly valuable. Thanks again and hope to see you on my channel again. Gareth
Hi Toni good to hear from you, apologies for the late reply, always bogged down with comments haha. I am a big sweaty mule, that is all I can say, suffer from warm weather!! Its a nice new bit of land and had some nice finds off here, in fact the hammered silver coin from a few episodes ago was from here. Got a few more videos filmed here too. Tuchel right man for England > I don't think so haha. Sacked by 2026!!
Pay who for the permission? The landowner? I've never paid a landowner to metal detect in 10 years. I am doing them a favour removing all the poisenous lead 😁
I think you take to long in showing the find, just pull it out spray it and show us thanks for the video love where you get to metal detect your blessed
Hi its funny you should say that as I thought the same thing when I watched it back. It was because I just did not know what that silver buckle / brooch thing was, and it went on a bit too long. I always trim and cut all the rubbish out my content, unlike all other metal detecting channels. Thanks for watching
Hi there, thanks so much for takin time out your day to watch this episode. Definitely not a lucky day for the poor pheasant, but I am quite sure he brought me some luck as I had an incredible days detecting :)
What's good G. I so hope you're well mate. For some reason YT notifications have stopped for your channel.! 😖. Hopefully I've resolved it by unsubbing & resubbing again.! I've got some catching up to do. !! Bless up.! 👍
Hey buddy as always great to hear from you. No idea why you stopped receiving notifications, I think RUclips can be weird sometimes. Good to see you are still following my progress, and I hope to see you on my next episode :) G

That pheasants head wasn't very lucky for the bird 😂😂 but it did find another piece of silver 👍
New permissions are as always very exciting 👍
Thanks very much for sharing
Stay lucky 👍

Hi Maria, you definitely got it right this time haha. We've all done that before, think ya commenting on a video, but its finished and automatically gone on to someone's else's video which you then end up commenting on instead haha. Thank you for your kind words, I love sending my drone up to view the land from above and seeing what I can capture. Thanks so much for the channel visit. G
@@TheDukesOfDerbyshire brilliant channel,👍
Great finds and beautiful scenery
Hi Suzanne, yes its a lovely bit of land which ticks a lot of my boxes. Not the biggest plot in the world, but it should keep me occupied for a couple of years :) Catch you on the next episode. G
Some great finds there good fields
Hi Paul, thanks so much for tuning in to this episode. It really is a great patch of land, had some really good hunts here and found my 1 and only silver hammered of 2024 here :) Hope to catch you on my next episode. G
Good video bud canna beat a bit of ridge and furrow definitely got some good land there 👍
Hi mate, yeah I've always been drawn to ridge & furrow fields and always had great success. Its a great bit of land and ticks all the attributes I look for where I know I'll make lots of finds. Thanks for the channel visit
Hey Gareth great finds per standard…
Your videos are really polished now I’m very impressed,
It’s inspired me to get out soon myself…👍
Hi Terry, great to hear from you, feel like I not seen you on my channel for a long time. I hope you are doing well? Thanks so much for your kind words. I tend to spend quite a lot of time editing them now, cutting out all the un-necessary bits, and cropping stuff etc. Its good fun and become another hobby for me. I just don't get enough time for my hobbies though haha
Nice to have the videos back buddy! Will save this until the kids have gone to school😂😂
Keep up the amazing work and hope the family are doing well 😃
@@sammiles849 hi Sam, ye these finds were brilliant and the buckle/brooch thing is super interesting and still unidentified
@@TheDukesOfDerbyshire you got any close up pictures, I'm really curious about it, I believe it might be medieval but the pin doesn't look right to me that's the only problem
@@TheDukesOfDerbyshire I have just zoomed in and looked and to me the pin does look right in actual fact, so it could be genuine
Great video mate as always. Loved the fan brooch
Hi mate, as always thanks for your kind words and support. This was an awesome day for me, probably my best detecting day of 2024. Catch you on my next episode. G
Amazing day detecting, another fabulous episode ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Hi Gary, cheers mate, a real good day in the office for me. Thanks as always for coming along and tuning in. Eeh its December, hope you all set for Christmas?
Amazing days detecting…..love the token….the shilling is a stunning coin….the rest is just mind blowing….very good fields and good luck on your next dig….well done.
Hi there, thanks so much for watching and for your awesome comments. Its a great little permission which seems to be full of all sorts of weird and wonderful finds. Can't wait for a few more visits here. Catch you on my next episode. G
Nice to see the spring time.
@@TheDukesOfDerbyshire Pleasure mate, and great that your passion still comes thru on the videos too! 🙏🏻
Well done pal some cracking finds that brooch is beautiful 🤩,, keep up the hard work your videos are by far the best around 👍🏼
Gareth
You got too love a permission
Hi mate, yes never get bored of that new permission feeling! It is a never ending struggle constantly trying to find new places like this. Thanks for the channel visit and for tuning in, hope to see you on my next episode
Great to see you back Gareth you Henry and a couple of other people have been giving me time out as lost my younger sister couple of weeks. Ago not been out but looking forward to it when I’m in a good place thank you 🙏 shaune in Kent 👍
Sorry for your loss Shaun in Kent. Get out in the countryside with the detector & this will give you a lift.
@@michaelwyatt1143 thank you for your kind words and looking forward to getting out it’s coming my sister will be with me pushing me on 👍
Hi Shaune, very sorry to hear the loss of your sister, that is very sad to hear. Life can be cruel and tough at times, full of ups and downs, but unfortunately this is part of life, we are all born and we all die - some sooner than others. Make the most out of life as it can be gone in an instant. Apologies for the late reply
Loved the fan brooch, at first , thought it was an Art Deco piece. The silver Queen Victoria is a ripper.
Hi Paul, thanks for tuning in to watch this episode. Ye the fan brooch was a really nice find, and now sits in my glass display cabinet. Love finding stuff like that - unique and different
Excellent, looks like a great permission, I sold my deus 2 and bought a manticore, the screen on the deus was just too small for my fading eyes
Hi mate, yeah this is a great little permission, love spending time here and can't wait to go back. Those Manticore screens are awesome to be fair, can't fault them. Lot of cash to spend though. I rely more on the sound of a machine rather than the visuals
What a day, don't you just love days like this ❤
Yes yes yes, everything was just perfect, the weather (if a little warm), the views, the scenery, the wildlife, the finds and the feeling of excitement and exploration of a new permission. I have since been back here 4 or 5 times and had a whole bunch more awesome finds :) Thanks so much for watching
What a great new permission! Awesome finds. Love the fan brooch 😍 Google lens is saying the round brooch is medieval! Nice 😀
@@TheDukesOfDerbyshire Hiya, you're so welcome! Look forward to seeing what else you find there. Defo one for the FLO 🙂 Absolutely and no worries!
well done buddy , lovely to see you out in the sun and digging some silver ! keep going , more to find
Another great video and fantastic finds Gareth. The weather and new permission really made the day.
Bird song and church bells ❤
Hi mate, the sounds of nature and the church bells in the distance were absolute bliss. This was one of them days where I just LOVE what I do. Incredible weather, incredible scenery, incredible views, incredible finds, great shots, everything was just perfect while out exploring a brand new permission. I have been back here 4 or 5 times more and had more awesome finds!!
Great finds 👍🏻
Hi mate, thanks as always for the channel visit and for watching. This was probably my best detecting day of the year. It has not been my most spectacular year, far from it in fact. But its been stead like :)
Fantastic! Thank you.
Check out digging deep detecting. Lots of annular broaches traded to native Americans during the fur trade time.
Hi there, thanks very much for visiting my channel and watching this video. I did go over and have a look at Digging Deep Detecting and watched one of his videos. Don't really follow many American channels, but it is cool to see what those guys find over there
15:15 was that the 4 dream find😮😅
Haha I'm not sure I would count the poor pheasants head as a dream find, but its the first and only one I've ever found in my life, which makes it a lot rare to find than a gold coin haha. Thanks so much for taking time out your day to watch. Hope to see you on some of my 300 other metal detecting videos
Great video G...being missing my detecting buddy!! Smashing silver!!
Superb...fantastic job
Hello and greetings, thanks so much for visiting my channel and watching this video. Also, thanks for your kind words. I hope to see you on my next episode
always good to see your videos Gareth this one had awesome finds , that silver brooch is a cracker thanks again cheers
My favourite shilling that Gareth, well done
Hi Allan, yeah those are beautiful coins to find, and 1 of my top bucket listers is the Florin version, very rarely do you see them found detecting. Thanks as always for tuning in, hope to see you on my next episode. G
G'day Gareth, Well mate you have done it again, mojo in full swing! Ripper finds. Well done mate!
Hi mate, yes this new permission really brought my fondness back for the hobby and my channel. Had some cracking finds here, but after several visits, I am now struggling to continue to make the finds. Its a never ending struggle trying to find new land and productive land
@@TheDukesOfDerbyshire Keep punching mate!
@TheDukesOfDerbyshire You're right. That drone shows you just how much you've got to detect..
Good luck with future visits 😀
Love your channel mate , the camera work is phenomenal 👏👌 happy hunting out they're

I always enjoy your videos and I always look forward to new ones. What program and settings do you use? Good luck and greetings from Montenegro.👍👍👍

I wear it around me neck on a massive gold chain 🤣🤣🤣

Great video as always. Question could any field have coins or are there some fields that you don’t bother with?
Thanks

In fact the video to that find can be found here if you wish to see:
ruclips.net/video/tc4ZKIx4hPs/видео.htmlsi=g371NES4ayGGcm6i
I showed the landowner and he was interested in keeping it. I offered him a pile of cash in order for me to keep it and he agreed. Usually landowners have no interest in what I find, unless its incredibly valuable.
Thanks again and hope to see you on my channel again. Gareth

Tuchel right man for England > I don't think so haha. Sacked by 2026!!
Do you have to pay them for the permission 😊
Pay who for the permission? The landowner? I've never paid a landowner to metal detect in 10 years. I am doing them a favour removing all the poisenous lead 😁
I think you take to long in showing the find, just pull it out spray it and show us thanks for the video love where you get to metal detect your blessed
Hi its funny you should say that as I thought the same thing when I watched it back. It was because I just did not know what that silver buckle / brooch thing was, and it went on a bit too long. I always trim and cut all the rubbish out my content, unlike all other metal detecting channels. Thanks for watching
Luck pheasant head! Well, lucky for you, not so much for the pheasant.
Hi there, thanks so much for takin time out your day to watch this episode. Definitely not a lucky day for the poor pheasant, but I am quite sure he brought me some luck as I had an incredible days detecting :)
