Your angels answered a dilemna for a few years! I'm using my loved ones' signatures that I circle punched from cards I've saved throughout my life. I decided to part with tons of cards, this is the year. I've been trying to decide how I can hang them on my tree, and so as a paper crafter I punched them, using a circle die cut for the halo, that has tiny holes around the edge, perfect for clear thread or twine for a hanger; metallic papers for the wings. Thank you! I can't wait to hang my little angels with parent's, gram's, aunt's signatures.

I really like the idea of using fabric at times in place of paper. It's like an extra surprise and nice texture. Love the angels. ❤ Yes to wallpaper for paper crafts. I watch another RUclipsr "Linda's Paper Works". She got samples, I forget where, but they are beautiful. Thank you and blessings. 🤗🦃

Hi, Anne Thank you for this lovely angel idea. I want to make an art journal of angels this winter. Great timing. I have a half yard of fabric to use as well. One of those pieces for which I had no project in mind but couldn't resist it's beauty. It has metallic gold and white fireworks looking circles in many sizes on it. @@annekenlon Oh, I made some angels with candies paper, similar the cupcake one, but smaller. I used one for the body and one for the wings and I put hair, made with dry corn husk. Very cute, too.
It's almost 7:00 in the morning and it's time for me to take a break! Now, that could mean one of two things - either (1) I've been up working for HOURS or (B) I tire out that easily... And if you put your flannel piece, the one you wanted to punch, between a couple pieces of paper and then punch it, it may work - especially if it's thin, wimpy flannel.

For the wall paper, go to your paint store and ask them what they do with the books. I got 4 big ones. They are great for crafting. I was put on a list because many people want them. But it took only 3 weeks for them to call me. I was allowed to take 4.

Hi, Charlene! The heads/faces on all these angels are 1-inch punched circles. The others range between 3 and 3 1/2 inches - they are all die cuts here. I've also made these angels very successfully using 3/4-inch circle punches for the heads, 1 3/4-inch punches for the dress, and 2-inch punches for the wings.
