DIY Macrame Star Wall Hanging | Macrame Star Tutorial
Hi Macrame lovers...
This tutorial is a macrame wall hanging tutorial. More precisely, it is a macrame star wall hanging. I used a star-shaped ring, in the middle of which I added a macrame daisy flower pattern.
Then on the ropes below, I made a diamond pattern with additional spiral knots.
The materials needed to make this macrame star wall hanging are as follows:
1. Star Ring Diameter 20 cm
2. 1.5 mm cotton rope = 1 x 400 cm (for wrapping around the ring)
3. 3 mm cotton rope, with the following details:
a. Parts of a daisy flower
- 1 x 220 cm (terracotta color)
- 1 x 90 cm (natural white)
- 1 x 70 cm (natural white)
b. Left pattern = 3 x 200 cm
Right side pattern = 3 x 200 cm
Middle pattern = 8 x 200 cm
For spiral knots = 3 x 200 cm
4. Wooden beads 1.5 cm = 3 pcs
5. Scissors
6. Tapestry needle
7. Wax glue
The final result of this macrame star wall hanging = 80 cm long and 16 cm wide.
There are 5 knots used to make this macrame star wall hanging, namely:
1. Double Half Hitch Knot,
2. Endless False Knot,
3. Lark's Head Knot,
4. Square Knots
5. Spiral Knots.
