I just love the Hussle and bustle and the energy of the City! been there like 8 years ago when I was just a young backpacker LoL, and of course the Old District and Beer street doesn't disappoint, those small chairs and amazing food was just incredible, it's really great to see people are slowly catching up and enjoying themselves, sending tropical love from the Philippines!

Guys that was epic .. I had a 2 night cruise on Halong bay .. just wonderful 🙏🇻🇳. When you come back to Ha Noi , don't miss the water puppet theatre.. and the best part was the traditional music and singing .. just gorgeous 🇻🇳🙏🌺❤️
FAB! Halong Bay is like the Grand Canyon, you have to see it to appreciate the beauty. Absolutely stunning. Lucky you! Enjoy all that Vietnam has to offer. Stay safe.
Take the double deck tour bus if you guys want to see more of the French quarters and tree line boulevards .............Obviously a lot of historical buildings were lost during the 2-3 wars and through the past 30yrs of economic reform, but still a handful of old French buildings left in Hanoi. Have a great trip .

Hi! I'm a Vietnamese from Hanoi and I've been following your vietnam vlogs for a while now and I've really enjoyed them so far! Since you'll be back here to do a lot more stuff in Hanoi I'd recommend you spending a whole day wandering around that lake as it's the most alluring and romantic touristry spot in Hanoi, in my opinion. The perfect timing to be there is on Saturdays and Sundays if possible, because often on the weekends they'll ban vehicles from passing these ancient streets and these streets are now vehicle-free which will be much more enjoyable and relaxing. The restaurants might be small and ancient but the cuisine on Hoan Kiem lake is one of the best in my opinion. Be sure to not miss out all the traditional dishes! The highlight of it all is the Dinh Cafe, where the world renowned egg coffee was born and it's best to not miss trying it :) It'd be a very interesting experience if you have a lot of time to stroll along the old quarters, as you'd have a closer look at all the French architecture. A very amusing destination is the Hoa Lo prison museum, where you get to learn the history of Vietnam War through the place once used to detain dissidents. That's just a few of my recommendations where you'll definitely get to learn and experience a lot, but there's also many other interesting places :)
Great video. I know VN was overwhelming and then to do as many things as you did in a few days are tiring so I appreciate the time you took to film what you did and where you were. VN offers a wide variety of scene, food and cultures from North to South so you should have plenty of materials for the channel. It's just a matter of how much time you want to spend in each region/city. Take care.

You are so lucky to see Ha Long Bay. There is a legendary story of Ha Long Bay. The people believe Ha Long was a dragon sending by God to this area and the dragon throw up a thousand pearls which become a thousand islands to protect Vietnam from the enemy of the north ( China ). You should ask the locals where the Ha Long name comes from. They will tell you. Have fun and enjoy the experience in Vietnam 🇻🇳.

I am Vietnamese American but have not been to Hanoi. I've heard good things about a cute place called "The Note Coffee." Supposedly, the egg coffee is very good there. Go see a water puppet show in Hanoi Oh no….you didn’t go through the caves in Halong Bay! They are amazing! We did an overnight cruise and I highly recommend it. I said it before and I’ll say it again, please do a scooter tour when in HoChimihn city. There are lots to choose from, we did the nights of Saigon and loved it!
Please visit Palawan Islands in the Philippines. Water are bluest clear, you can do kayaking, swimming, etc. I’ve been to Halong Bay 2 years ago, stayed on the boat overnight. That’s about. I did enjoy though.

Isn't Halong Bay incredible? I stayed on a Junk Boat for 2 nights there back in 2012. The caves that you guys pointed out actually has a stunning view of the Bay from up there. We kayaked there too. Unforgettable experience! Hanoi was fun too! I got drunk on Tiger Beers. LOL!

I am Vietnamese American but have not been to Hanoi. I've heard good things about a cute place called "The Note Coffee." Supposedly, the egg coffee is very good there. Hope you guys will check it out and share your experience. Thanks for introducing us to Ha Long Bay. It is now on my bucket list. Enjoy the rest of Vietnam. Keep up the good vibes. 🤗

We did an overnight cruise and I highly recommend it.
I said it before and I’ll say it again, please do a scooter tour when in HoChimihn city. There are lots to choose from, we did the nights of Saigon and loved it!

Please visit Palawan Islands in the Philippines. Water are bluest clear, you can do kayaking, swimming, etc. I’ve been to Halong Bay 2 years ago, stayed on the boat overnight. That’s about. I did enjoy though.

Isn't Halong Bay incredible? I stayed on a Junk Boat for 2 nights there back in 2012. The caves that you guys pointed out actually has a stunning view of the Bay from up there. We kayaked there too. Unforgettable experience! Hanoi was fun too! I got drunk on Tiger Beers. LOL!
Now that sounds like quite the experience TT. I wish we had time to check out those caves that day. Sounds like we have a great reason to go back 😀 - Trevor
