Yeah I thought the same thing when I saw the boss, until I fought it that is, seriously it’s one of the hardest terraria bosses because of how hard it is to dodge and the fact that you technically can’t hit it, and that you can’t even deal damage while it’s in the beam stage
I love the Polarities boss. In normal boss fight you move according to the boss, but in this fight, the boss moves according to you, which means you need to use the boss to dodge the boss.
Dammit this channel is too underrated. Thank you for all the great mod showcase! It really gives us a ton of ideas on how we could play Terraria even better than ever ✨
I've seen this mod a couple times and never ended up playing it, but seeing this video really makes me wanna try this out, the bosses look very cool and unique.
A regular terraria world can only hold so much. When i got subworlds for use with the Stars Above mod I was willing to bet the future of terraria modding is gonna make heavy use of this kind of feature.
One issue is that many of the bosses are too difficult to learn even in normal mode compared to vanilla bosses. The bosses difficulty should be put more in line with vanilla Terraria so players have a reason to fight the bosses at the intended point in progression.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say I wholeheartedly believe this mod has the best boss design and second best weapon design of any Terraria mod. Ever. Period.

Man is that Artist that you use for the music good, even better than the mod, I had a guess that they were Japanese, just from the sound, glorious, how Japanese Music is so good at setting the mood and be happier than all forms of western music. Reminds me of my childhood playing JRPGs.
When i first saw this from some different youtuber, this really got my attention real quick, even saw someone really speak up about polarities literally reminding you about stuff, science with polarities and esophage as well as math with the rift denizen(technically but the comment existed before that was added) and fractal dimension), this mod's bosses are literally like Revengeance scale in expert but still managable in the scale of "doing astrum aureus just post all early hardmode before plantera" sort of thing, where in the start it will make you feel underequipped for some reason, but if you end up learning patterns from the bosses, makes it a satisfying trial of skill and resolve, i still haven't tried the recently reworked polarities boss, but is now more understandable at this point(since i didn't notice the background color changes depending on which of the two is locked in place), i should try it after i do my current calamity run i am lazy off continuing because of plantera arena... Short edit: i also have a bit of a problem in terms of how the original summon weapons work, basically some of them have faulty accuracy(like once i used the post golem imp staff upgrade which can't hit a green slime once before, hope that's fixed), i feel like minions, should have a manner similar to calamity's thing for minions that may seem like "less damage, constant accuracy" thing which makes measuring what minions do be easier, but that's just a thing i look over to
Well,you bring it into quantum mechanics that the thing I'm not realized...... And yeah make Plantera arena is such a pain since you should have to clean all the walls and me,as the pure vanilla mobile player is just pain
@@sansclone1874 also have to keep the arena "as jungle as possible" or plantera will enrage even if you have a wide enough arena that just has te center "not jungle"
Imagine having to fight a gore-like hive-mind, who wants to devour all, and the living embodiment of evil and the sins of man. that is ridiculous! ( Bit' of terraria lore for yah, Esophage is scary as heck tho.)
Im sure most people will not care but on my world that i made before downloading the mod didnt had salt caves (probably) so i made another world got salt stuff made my own biome underground and i got an brine fly banner which probably spawns in salt cave
Will the Fractal Dimension work on a coop playthrough? Like if you're the host or something and you decide to go to the dimension, what would happen to the other players?
so what happens is a sort of 'vote' is placed and if going to the dimension wins all current players will get teleported to the fractal dimension at once. (it also waits for all players to actually load the dimension before putting everyone in.)
Starbalest is technically the "Star Shotgun" counterpart of star cannon, hope it gets an upgrade in hardmode on 1.4 to simulate the effect of that hardmode star cannon variant

the rift denizen is so cool, the light attack makes terraria 3D, and that fits the dimensional rift part so well

I just realised that esophage is litterally the most unique boss in modded terraria
Its a mix of a spider and bacteriophage

I like how they make melee weapons “melee” instead of ranged weapons that don’t take ammo
more like magic weapons that don't take mana
I played all of this mod and is so good, I love all how the weapons, bosses and biomes follow this sci-fi and science type theme, absolutely great.
The weapons in this mod are some of the most unqiue I've ever seen
really relaxing music. polarities mod has a lot of good weapons with unique functions
The Brot orb is like a controllable boss. Is cool
from what I gathered from this showcase with some of the weapons and boss attacks
