I have been living in brisbane for over 6 years and like seriously, these years were the best years of my life so far. Sucks that I have to go back to Korea soon...but I will never forget Brisbane and those memories from Brisbane will always be in my heart.
as a foreigner who experienced living in different parts of this wonderful country for the past 6 years, Brisbane people (and quenslanders in general) are the friendliest and most welcoming of all Australians.
As a Kiwi who spent part of his time in W.A. I longed to visit the Sunshine state as one of my life-goals......I LOVE BRISBANE!!!!! And I will be making it my home within 2 years :)
Beautiful city,it was good living in the city going for run in the morning to a beautiful sunrise, before the mad rush of people walking round.Australia has beautiful beaches and scenery, wish it was summer already lol. Thanks for the clip
Wow, I'm travelling from Chile to Brisbane in March, for 4 or 5 months to study at UQ, and I'm so excited about this wonderful city! Looking forward the best experience of my life... I know that maybe being alone and not knowing anyone there for the first weeks will be hard ... but anyway, I already love Brisbane! :)
I have lived in London, Los Angeles and Sydney, the 18 months I lived in Brisbane in 1995/96 was the most enjoyable. OK it's not the fun capital of the world, but it is a warm, welcoming and friendly place to live due the normal down to earth people who live there. I prey the floods will cause limited damage.
I like this city. especially brisbane's weather is always good !! and the people is so nice and kindly. I think how can brisbane maintain the beautiful nature ? I always can breath fresh air. it's the gift. and I can always drink fresh water by water service. thank you your nature. I will spend priciously ! ^ ^
Im from Slovakia and i love Australia very much! because i love warm, sea, beach, beautiful sky, animals in Australia and Australian girls ;) Im 15 years old, and my dream is move to Australia (Gold Coast) and find there nice girl make with her nice kids and a whole day to walk along the beach ;) This is my dream, my dream is Australia :')
Totally agree with you. I've been to Sydney and Melbourne too but Brissy is the best. Loved my trip there. Gold Coast was equally good too although I haven't lived or stayed there.
@xFeloxX Welcome! I'm also an international student here, from Malaysia. I assure you, this is the best place to live in entire Australia. Wonderful city, wonderful people.
@PchyfromVN born and bred in brisbane myself, i would say that its perhaps not the greatest city to visit on holidays. but its a great city to live in!!
@sufeewi Lol,when I go onto your channel the first thing comes up is "Why did I move here?I guess it was the weather." I guess you moved there because of your job? The city looks amazing indeed.
@curlcurllocal That's a bit harsh for the gold coast... I think it just depends on where you hang out bro. Historicaly, The Gold Coast used to be called South Brisbane. It's only when they drained all the swamps to build houses that it became the Gold Coast
I agree with ASkywalker. Sydney is nice to visit and all, especially around the harbour but other than that its just big dirty city. Yeah the Valley is average too.
@Ananananiful Yes, it's very different from Germany!! For starters Germany has history, Australia not a lot, because it's a very young country. It's very hot!! humiditi is very high!! We don't get snow! It's totally different from Germany! I have lived in Brisbane for the past 30 years.
@77Tonyz You don't live here so you have no idea what you're talking about. I've lived other places and quite frankly Brisbane is a great place to live.
@curlcurllocal i ve been aus for like two weeks i landed at brisbane, the airport was small but neat tidy and clean, even got train service, I m impressed. However when we drove past by gold coast, we stop for toilet , public toilet facility got yellow box to collect injection needle at that moment i thought this place may not be so safe as it seems. If you have ppl who use drug to that extend, even toilet turned into injection hideout. I guess those druggy will rob ppl to buy crack : (
why are plane tickets to Brisbane so expensive... like cheapest from Sydney is $150 each way... yet Melbourne is like $40 each way.. i wanna visit Brisbane for $40 not Smelbourne
Frozen water won´t rain Gimme hope in a dry train Ride me back to a time Without war, and no crime. The riddle is a solution, About a world without Pollution. Defrostet water always trails, Clean some air and save the Wales! If you just think about your money, Your childs wont get any Honey. In a time, when the bees were no more, Because of billions for a deep sea shore! U can think about the 6th Generation, but on our planet, there will be no vacation!
@goldy2004 i honestly couldnt care less anymore, i commented ages ago, think what you want, its just a place for people to live, no wheres perfect geeze.
Not talking about public buses, talking about city sights buses where they do commentary only in english..Tour buses are good but BCC will only allow a few tour buses to park at points of interest in brisbane for the non english speaking tourist it makes it hard to show them arround the city,i know i drive one of these tourist buses..other cities of the world want tourist to visit there major land marks and have more than enough parking for the tourist buses....
Sydney is too dirty and full of junkies and hobos, Melbourne is nice but the weather sucks. Brisbane runs at a more relaxed pace, has excellent weather and is just an all-round great city!
Wait a minute, what about the slums of brisbane, the high poverty and crime. This city like most aussie cities are like a 3rd world city. I been there and i just couldnt stand of beggars asking me for money and food. I'm like where is australia's wealth? I just couldnt believe it.
You mean public transport buses? Well duh. They're kind of meant to be in English, so those of us who PAY for them can read them. If they want a tour, don't be a stinge and pay for a tour like you're supposed to. I've been to countries where buses aren't written in 6 different languages to suit everyone. You have to make do with what you know. The cities were larger than Brisbane too.
brisbane it not tourist friendly especially those from non english speaking country's..the tour conducted on brisbane buses are only in english so they are no use to people who can not understand english...
very expensive place, racist tough people I just couldn't like it.. I would say in Australia Melbourne is the right place very lovely people.. If you are looking for English speaking country to study, just go to the U.S. for GOD SAKE !!
Lived in Brisbane for 5 years. Awesome place. Once the infrastructure gets better it will be brilliant.
Fastest growing city in the country...
I have been living in brisbane for over 6 years and like seriously, these years were the best years of my life so far. Sucks that I have to go back to Korea soon...but I will never forget Brisbane and those memories from Brisbane will always be in my heart.

@77Tonyz If you hate Brisbane so much, why are you watching and commenting negative things on every Brisbane video on youtube?
Only if they didnt have the worlds most dangerous sharks in that river!!
brisbane city buses dont do tours in english,I know there are other tours in other languages because i do these tours...
@Brizman101 Perth is closer to India
Makes it hard to believe that it's the most haunted city in Australia.
But yeah, it is, google it.
Frozen water won´t rain
