I love the magic eraser! I use super steamy, hot water and it works immediately. Also, if you accidentally get a bit of deo or makeup on your clothes, just wipe the eraser over the clothes and it takes it away! Lastly, she says to launder it ever use but you can actually hand wash it after use with a dove soap bar. It's pretty gratifying actually because you get to see the makeup wash out! I live by this product :)

I wish you would've done one half with the "special" towel and the other half with a regular towel
any micro fiber towel works :) I use one for the dollar store and works just as good with warm water.
also I have like 5 and they are bigger then the makeup reader so I feel it lasts longer before needing a wash

I was going to buy one of these until I read it was only polyester. Instead, I went to the dollar store and bought their face clothes made of 100% polyester. Works just as well, and I got two for a dollar.

I wouldn't wash it in the machine every day, just rinse it in hot/warm water after every use and machine wash once a week. I think it would end up costing a bit more than the wipes if you machine washed it after every use because of water and electricity cost.

Hola from California! I'm glad you tried this, Tina; I've been looking for something like this to use in place of disposable make up wipes. I've used every brand (it seems) available in the USA and like many of 'em. I've rinsed and rinsed and even recycled the disposable wipes in housecleaning. I clicked on the company's link and watched the tutorial. All of my makeup is water soluble, not water proof, and I used it every night, for a work week (M-F) and then washed and dried with my laundry. Right now, I'm ready to try a microfiber cloth to see if it works, too. I'll be using the pink cloth...and the black cloth...for travel, so one is in each of the two suitcases I carry. I bought this at a nearby Sephora and I must say, it works like magic! You don’t necessarily have to put into the washing machine. You can just wash it by hand using a mild bar of soap.

Jenika Brown Yes, I used a cheap microfiber cloth, worth a dollar. It works the same. The surface of the fiber that helps u eliminate makeup, its like a gentle scrub.

I have a horrible neurological condition and I have to wear special makeup as it is, so my face doesn't get irritated. I've been looking for some sort of makeup remover that will not literally burn my skin and have never found it, so I'm DEFINITELY giving this a go! Leagh Conway she was wearing waterproof mascara. No matter how hard I rub with even the micellar water, none of my waterproof mascara would come off.
I hardly rub. It looks like she's rubbing her eyes excessively but my experience is that you don't need to rub so hard. If I have waterproof make-up, I just leave the towel on my eyes for a few seconds and then swipe an the make-up comes off.
Mary Zhang it comes off trust me I can't afford make removal I get mine off with warm water it comes off even the better then sex mascara it comes off with water especially after a whole day of wearing it

I love this and would never use anything else again. Also , it's so easy to wash and you don't need to put it in the washer to get it clean. I wash mine by hand , takes less than 2 minutes and i hang to dry :) It's seriously awesome and super easy to maintain

I use the fiber ones for the kitchen and it does the same thing at least for me.

You're not supposed to use the cleaning cloths to remove your makeup, they could be treated/harsher and simply not tested to be used on skin so yup, fyi

I got it as a Christmas present but to me it's amazing because I have such sensitive skin just moisturizer for sensitive skin leaves my skin red and sore to the touch so it's not a waste to me

How is one supposed to save money on that if you need to use a washing machine every day to keep it clean? I don't even do washing every day and I'm not going to do it just for washing one piece of pink towel
I have the makeup eraser, and I only wash it like once a week with my clothes, and I don't have to keep buying makeup remover wipes!
Alena Alena you can actually wash it with a little bit of normal soap by hand after you use it at night and all the makeup comes off from the towel super easily, you can then wash it deeply in the washing machine like once a week or even once every two. It keeps it clean and it works amazingly I'd have to say
