Popflex stuff are so expensive but gotta hand it to Cassey for constantly improving her designs and coming up with new features. I got a popflex crop top in 2017 and it's still a go-to for me daily
@@SalmaMohamed-xj4jq It is! Granted, it's very loose now since it's been through hundreds of washes I guess 😆 but I just wear it at home anyway so no reason to throw it out 😚
All the details she includes to address issues also makes the production of her items a LOT more expensive, unfortunately! I can’t afford her stuff either but the pricing is fair-at least fabletics has nice stuff when it’s on sale
Her pricing is so so fair for the quality though!! I own several pieces and wear them throughout the week because they’re so versatile. You definitely get your moneys worth! And with her reward points you can eventually redeem points for $$ off! I’ve realized even if I’m spending a lot, I’m wearing it a lot. I wear them a lot more than my cheaper clothes that I bought just cause they’re cheaper 😅

THIS. The scoop is so unflattering. I have the pirouette dress and I think it looks horrendous for the same reason. Also the bust area she pointed out, same issue. It’s not big bust friendly.
YES! The lower belly is accentuated far too much by having such a different height in the middle vs. the sides. It would be a huge difference I think if the sides were slightly on top of the hips instead of so high in the waistline and the middle should have been a bit higher, on top of the lower belly instead of under it would have been enough as well, I think. The curve from side to the middle is far too steep and would only work for (modern?) ballet, salsa and the like maybe? It is definitely giving off ice/figure skating costume vibes so I imagine it would work well in 5ose situations but maybe that adds to the “something feels off” vibe
The second one, it's definitely the color. This color didn't compliment your skin color, I feel it erased you. In black or white, I think it would look really good
I mean I think it is in part the color but honestly I think it might be more of the fit on her. Idk if this makes sense but As someone with a bigger bust it reminds me of problems with the fit of clothes for me. Especially as they are more made with someone with a flatter bust in mind. Idk if it makes sense but like it looks like her bust is pulling at the fabric at the top ( making it tighter as it needs more) but it is making part of it hit in a different place then it was meant to. As on someone with a flatter bust it wouldn’t have it go over a bigger boob but go on the place under it. Like to me I think something like adjusting the straps would make a big difference. But that also could make the fit over the bust worse.
I have a similar body type as Tina and I am here to say that it’s not just the color of the pirouette dress that’s throwing us off, I have it in 3 colors, Lilac, Coconut Cream and Bubblegum and they all feel odd on me. Like it’s so pretty on its own but not when I wear it. I think it’s because I’m short (5’1) with wide hips. I have an hourglass figure and I think this is more flattering to a tall, slim, athletic figure kinda like Mia Maples. Just my personal opinion. But I still love the dress that’s why I keep the 3😊
I think it’s the scoop and it should snatch more at the waist. The fit doesn’t look quite right. It really is made for taller girlies, the model photos make it clear that the waist sits higher on them and the scoop doesn’t fall so low.
Thanks so much for this comment, I was considering buying the pirouette dress myself but I'm a similar height and body type to you (I'm a triangle rather than an hourglass so my hips are wider than my chest) and I live across the pond so shipping and returns would take forever. I wish there was a physical Popflex shop where we could try before we buy
Yeah, I have a couple of popflex sports bras and shorts from waaaaay back in the day, and there's nothing so special that they justified the price. It wasn't even quite as expensive back then, either. They're not worth it, but that's a pattern with a lot of activewear.
I laughed out loud when you said the jumpsuit was screaming maternity wear, because it was actually one of my favorite outfits during my pregnancy over the winter (the long-sleeve version) 😂 It really is SO comfortable and stretchy while still looking quite stylish!
I like the idea of the pirouette dress but i think the cip in the middle looks strange. I dont think it should dip as much and if it was more pointed and less of a scoop, it would look better.
maybe some of the rompers would fit a bit better if they had petite sizing! it’s such a struggle to find clothes w the right torso length as a short person lol
Agree on the hiking - maybe for a gravel trail in LA but in the woods where I typically go, you’ve gotta cover your legs to protect against ticks, plus I’d get too much chub rub with that short inseam 😅
I love this video! I love Popflex too. It is pricey, but they are so functional and cute. They are also made of quality material and last a long time. If it helps to girl math, Nike and Lululemon are more expensive.
Nike is definitely not more expensive. Lululemon is comparable but they have a great return policy on their clothes and have a lot more sizes than popflex
Tina's bangs need some special attention. Wow.. I think she must keep those bangs, looks so good.. keep the Korean bangs for longer.. bcoz it usually disappears soon enough once you get the cut, it's there for some time but boom, it's gone. I know it's hard to keep but you look fab ❤❤❤❤❤
If you have the pirouette skirt, put it on on top of the dress and see if the straight cut of the band makes it look better for you! Maybe that will help you decide if it's the colour or the cut!
I like her stuff, but is very expensive and I really wish some of her skorts were a tad longer! I'm tall so I'm sure some of them would look really short on me.
Also, those complaining about the prices of her stuff need to realize she creates her stuff using quality materials, she pays her workers fair wages, and she has to create all of the varieties of clothing she makes based on our preferences which costs money. Getting mockups for all the versions isn't cheap. She isn't employing cheap labor to create it therefore you are paying for quality items that will last longer that were created under good working conditions. She is reinvesting the money back into creating more designs for us than any other brand I've ever seen. As an example, I know a creator who owns a small business that makes wallets and she spends about $100-$300 per sample for something as small as a wallet, I could only imagine how much Cassey spends on clothing samples, redesigns, etc. for all the designs she creates for us. One thing becoming a minimalist taught me is that buying higher quality clothing that will last longer, is an investment. Would you rather buy cheap items that will get holes in them after a wash or two, or a higher quality item that will last you for years to come? And if you have any issue with the item Cassey and her team do a wonderful time resolving your issue so you can get a piece that meets your quality standard. The higher quality item is the smarter option in the long run but she isn't shaming anyone who needs to save up to get her items. As an example, I used to go through cheap blenders and I would have to literally buy several throughout the year, I use it daily. I saved up for a Vitamix that I bought refurbished and on sale, and it has lasted me over 5 years so far of daily use. It has more than paid for itself by now. If the price of higher quality is that much of an issue then wait until the holidays to buy the items when they are on sale. Cassey literally just did a few back-to-back sales in a row that you all could have taken advantage of like I did. She not only had a sale for the 4th of July but she also had a warehouse sale around the same time where you got extra free items on top of what you bought. And if you join her rewards program you get further money off that can be COMBINED WITH THE SALE PRICES!! It also doesn't hurt to ask for an item for the holidays or your birthday as a present or she has gift cards you can ask for too. There are plenty of ways to get her items, you don't have to do it all at once. TL/DR: The fact that people do haul videos makes people think they need to buy as much stuff as they possibly can at one time but people need to realize that sometimes getting an item or two is more feasible for their budget. You are investing in quality that lasts and fair labor, and it's okay to save up for it without feeling ashamed of doing so. People have this notion that they need the newest, latest, and greatest when they really don't. You just need to find clothing you feel comfortable in that will grow with you. Lastly, keep in mind clothing companies typically employ psychologists to train them on how to manipulate you into thinking your clothes are "out-of-style" so you will buy more from them. "Fashion used to follow a seasonal calendar, where designers would release four lines a year. But the fashion industry doesn't stick to that schedule anymore. In fact, the typical four drops per year in fashion has increased to 52 “micro-seasons,” or one new collection being released every week."
I didn't read your whole comment (it was a bit long and I'm on a short break)... But I just came here to say that I was defending her on this in another video, when someone told me that as her business has grown, Cassey has had to start outsourcing her production to China recently. You can find the "made in China" label as well on newer pieces. It really broke my heart because I loved what she stood for. But if that's really true, then factors like high quality and fair wages, etc. really come under question. I hope she realises that fast fashion is not the direction to take for her fabulous brand!!
I think the prices would be much more justifiable (from a longevity pov) is she used natural fibers.... I really do like some of her designs and the prices are fine imo. The problem is that everything she makes is centered around super stretchy synthetic fabrics that smell bad, are sweaty and just won't hold up after a few years of wear. That fabric choice makes sense for leggings tbf, but for a dress or jumpsuit it just feels cheap and low quality
Literally just shopped on their website and then left the website instead of buying because of decision fatigue. Thank you so much for this timely video!
Wow! I appreciate your honesty in trying out her clothing. I always admire her clothes but I can’t afford it. I can barely afford a new pair of sneakers for work. Plus as much as I like her clothes and I know she makes them with everyone in mind I still feel like they only make people who are size 0-2 look good and size 4+ can be high or miss. I think she designs with her body type in mind and then works around that.
great haul! the pirouette dress I find fits larger than other items so I sized down to XXS and it looks more snatched and cute. and that gray purple color, unfortunately, just does not work for asian skin tone.
Yea, I feel she could have sized down in the pirouette dress, it looked a bit long for Tina. *Edited to say she could also size down in the the maxi dress and obviously the jumpsuit!
Definitely agree. It did not look like it fit the way it was supposed to. Sizing down I think might fix some issues. I actually love love the mauve on her. As a fellow Asian person with yellower undertones I think it would not look great on me but on Tina, she looks amazing!
I really want the pirouette skirt!! I don’t think the pirouette dress is flattering because of the drop on the stomach it gives the illusion of a bigger belly especially with the color. Black or white might look better! If it was more leveled or had less contrast from waist to lower belly I think it would be nicer.
Yeah those are cute hiking shorts but honestly even in California it would not make sense to wear such short shorts for hiking - there's ticks, spiky grass and branches that will snag your legs. And you will get eaten alive in any humid weather by mosquitoes. Plus no sun cover. So long version but with enough air flow would be ideal. They are cute to wear around town in tropical weather but kinda spendy for what's essentially a pair of spandex shorts. Still fun to watch you try them on - the onesies being so long are a deal breaker - after spending so much for them, I don't want to have to spend more to have them shortened. BUT if I was a magician def will get the magically huge pocket outfit LOL.
The jumpsuit just needs a good pair of scissors to be shortened ! There’s a stitch but it’s just here for the look as it’s a raw cut under, I shortened mine quite a while ago and it hasn’t frayed
Tina, you look amazing in that lilac pirouette dress. Maybe you’re too hard up on yourself because the colour doesn’t look dull on you at all. And you definitely do not look short. Just leaving this here so you’re aware of how gorgeous you look!
I’m Canadian and honestly it is very important to me about fit as I have a multiple scars that prevent wear anything tight on my ribs. Her stuff fits and doesn’t hurt.
For the 2nd one i think its for sure the colour.. i noticed how in the dark model the same colour made her skin glow but not the same happened with you.
Love Popflex active clothes for loungewear. My biggest advise is check the sizing. I always get my size but find that I need to size down because everything seems too big
Popflex is EXPENSIVE for a college girlie like me. I wanted to get the corset cami but shipping, customs and the actual price is something I don't think I can afford 😅.
Dont worry your not missing anything the quality is like wish after its washed its over priced junk that will now sit in my closet un used after being washed once
In your case, for the pirouette dress, you have a short torso, so it’s not hitting in the waist the way it should’ve. The skirt is also a little long on you due to the skirt being lower. I think the pirouette skirt would’ve been better alone, as you can adjust it to your personal waist.
First one is odd. Maybe itll be better in a different colour. 2nd is like a swimming cossie and tutu. The colour isn’t the same light lilac, yours was a grey taupe
glow with the flow jumpsuit with the crew neck or just a little below turtle neck thing... idk... i would enjoy that for the winter... with long sleeves ofcourse!
The fourth outfit. Don't take up the hem at the bottom UNTIL you've taken up the straps at the top. This will lift up the whole torso area including your mid section. Then hem the bottom of the pants. Otherwise, you'll have a trip hazard. You could actually sew in some braided cord or elastic going up and down the straps and then pull the threads up until you get the desired strap length. You could make this self-adjustable at the front easily. I do like that colour on you. Some red trim around the top of the tank would set your colouring off even more. Try a couple of skin-tight tanks in contrasting, bold colours underneath it that show through just a bit. You'll work out what colours will help give you some brightness without having to commit to any permanent change. It looks soooo comfortable. I think if I had this, it wouldn't come off for a week. (Except you have to practically take it off every time you go to the loo. That's the one thing I hate about onesies.)
Oh my gosh Tina, your hair looks so good. I noticed it right away in the thumbnail but it's even better in the video. Also, I love these try on videos!
Thank you so much for this review because I'm always on the fence about whether or not I should get something from Blogilates!! Also, your hair is so cute!!
I’m glad to see that we have the same issues! I ordered a few pieces for popflex, including the jumpsuit (I got my right size and the pockets are still super low??) and every time I love the pieces so much but once I try it on there’s just something lacking? Like it’s not as perfect as it should be considering the price! They’re like 90% good I’d say
I have that jumpsuit and I didn’t even realize it HAS pockets LMAO I was slightly disappointed in the way it fit me (I’m 5’ tall, 107 lbs and I got the small XP) but I get so many compliments when I wear it that it’s grown on me 🤭
"Is this screaming maternity wear?" had me laughing 🤣 Loved the video as always Tina! (Also, I actually think the second dress looks really good on you!)
I feel like the problem with the Pirouette Dress is the rounded dip that connects the top of the dress with the skirt. The design just doesn't feel flattering to me. It creates the look of having a big belly even though there is none to begin with. It's an optical illusion but it still looks a bit off.
The flowy pants jumpsuit would look really good as a pants itself. I'm a hijabi and goodness fo I need it! The wah its flattery but also not molding the body 😍
I feel like Cassie is the epiphany of when you have a great idea, you hire a professional to execute it. Like her prices are up there with lululemon and alo but the designs and tailoring are subpar in comparison. I feel like a team of professional designers can help her a lot.
6:22 I think it’s the color and it would have fit better if the dress is petite. I think blue or black one would have looked good on you but I still love the dusty mauve on you, it’s just the fit doesn’t seem right. That was a very detailed and constructive review. I’m sure the designer will take notes and make it much better than it is now 🥰 But I love Popflex. I think the designer put out well thought out products. Just needs a little more tweaking on some.
Long dress is from ribbed biflex. It`s super popular for swimsuits. But it`s more or less cheap. If you have a sewing machine but not a serger it`s to go for a good swimsuit.
I would suggest that if there are pieces that you really like but are just a little big or long to get them tailored. Especially since it's a somewhat expensive brand, I think it would be worth it.
I hike in the winter (no bugs/snakes and can breathe) but no matter when I'm hiking I want legs and arms completely covered for safety! Maybe in California that's not as much a concern? It's a cute skirt but.... Awesome magic show and love the video in general as I've been researching PopFlex before buying anything this is sooooo helpful!
For the Go With The Flow Jumpsuit size down 1 and size down on the length and you will be good to go. She mentions on the site that it was created to touch the ground when you are wearing 4-inch heels. So if you wear flats or regular shoes go down in length. That also solves the pocket location, the shorter length will have the pockets located higher. My best advice is to size down because she likes to make a lot of her items flowy. Sizing down would also help with the Maxi dress issue you were having as well. Also, belting the jumpsuit and the Maxi dress will elevate them if you don't want them to look as casual. I just got a bunch of stuff from her including the jumpsuits and sized it all down based on reviews and the stuff fit perfectly.
I have the long sleeve and the sleeveless version of the body suit and am also short (5’1). I absolutely LOVE both versions, but I needed 5 inches cut off the hem!!!
For the dress, I definitely agree that it shortens your torso. I think the design is meant to elongate the legs, but proportionately to the torso your legs are longer, even though you are a short girl. Which means that the dress makes your torso even smaller. I don't know about the colour. Maybe the black one wouldn't be so noticeable.
I have the hiking skort in the nude shade and I love it! I wouldn't wear it real hiking but I go hiking with my 5 year old so I wear it then. The only downside is it's hard to style cause it looks cute but your top has to go with it or it won't look good.
Love this haul! I actually also have the skort in brown and it’s one of my favorite pieces! I usually wear it for flights as it’s pretty comfortable and convenient to wear things with pockets haha, and I usually get many compliments on this piece! The only downside is that it pills very very very easily against anything I sit on haha…so I have to use the pill fabric remover all the time 😅
I actually got to try their skirt in target and as a 3x 4x at the time it looked wayyyy good on me now ive lost weight and im glad i held off on buying it
What I see from the reviews are that Popflex are helluva pricey, not really meant for short girlies as everything looks like you need hemming, and not every activity needs to show legs. Because damn, those hiking skorts, I can guarantee you my legs would scuffed up by the end of it. Branches, bugs and everything will feast on my exposed legs ahaha.
Like this video if you enjoyed my magic show 😆

But if that's really true, then factors like high quality and fair wages, etc. really come under question. I hope she realises that fast fashion is not the direction to take for her fabulous brand!!
@@mizbarehana5498 Not all factories in China are sweat shops or produce low quality goods.
How do you know she pays well? She might be doing the same
I think the prices would be much more justifiable (from a longevity pov) is she used natural fibers....
These are so helpful. If I’m gonna pay so much for clothes, I want to know allllll the pros and cons before shelling out.
Appreciate your honest reviews! Also love your bangs.
great haul! the pirouette dress I find fits larger than other items so I sized down to XXS and it looks more snatched and cute. and that gray purple color, unfortunately, just does not work for asian skin tone.
On a side note rocking that hair Tina!! And the magic tricks were very entertaining
I really want the pirouette skirt!! I don’t think the pirouette dress is flattering because of the drop on the stomach it gives the illusion of a bigger belly especially with the color. Black or white might look better! If it was more leveled or had less contrast from waist to lower belly I think it would be nicer.
i agree, i think it’s partly the colour and mostly the fact that the waistline highlights the lower belly
I have the pirouette dress in black and it is A STAPLE 🖤✨ you need it in black!!
I love your review and I agree with your comments! Like the second outfit, I was thinking, "frumpy??" as well.
yasss!!! this was the shorts I saw in one of your previous videos and was waiting for popflex review since then
Yeah those are cute hiking shorts but honestly even in California it would not make sense to wear such short shorts for hiking - there's ticks, spiky grass and branches that will snag your legs.
Your hairstyle is the style that suits u.
I always get my size but find that I need to size down because everything seems too big
okay so first dress looks adorable on you! i def think it smth unfamiliar that's why you're weirded out but you ATE THAT UPPP
I do like the first one I think the idea of two layers short is pretty good and comfortable to work out with
Tina's hair looks soooo good in this video!!!!😍
That last hiking skirt looks amazing on you!
Popflex is EXPENSIVE for a college girlie like me. I wanted to get the corset cami but shipping, customs and the actual price is something I don't think I can afford 😅.
Sometimes they have sales! :) maybe that helps
Dont worry your not missing anything the quality is like wish after its washed its over priced junk that will now sit in my closet un used after being washed once
She makes such bold claims about her clothes but they dont live up to them
@@eslek6644 even after sales it's still very expensive :'D
i love your hair tina! you look gorgeous!!
In your case, for the pirouette dress, you have a short torso, so it’s not hitting in the waist the way it should’ve. The skirt is also a little long on you due to the skirt being lower.
I think the pirouette skirt would’ve been better alone, as you can adjust it to your personal waist.
Popflex makes the cutest stuff. Would love more of these videos
im OBSESSED with your hair styled like this on you
First one is odd.
2:39 PLEASE MY DAD WAS RIGHT NEXT TO ME WHEN YOU SAID THAT MY JAW DROPPED PFFF
Nice to see a fellow shortie try some of this on! I have a few pieces from Popflex, but hese were new to me!
I really like hiking skort ❤ looks perfect for an easy hike
I’m glad to see that we have the same issues! I ordered a few pieces for popflex, including the jumpsuit (I got my right size and the pockets are still super low??) and every time I love the pieces so much but once I try it on there’s just something lacking? Like it’s not as perfect as it should be considering the price! They’re like 90% good I’d say
I have that jumpsuit and I didn’t even realize it HAS pockets LMAO I was slightly disappointed in the way it fit me (I’m 5’ tall, 107 lbs and I got the small XP) but I get so many compliments when I wear it that it’s grown on me 🤭
know you know it has MAGIC pockets! 😆
Love your magic banana pocket. Hahahaha!
Your hair looks amazing!!!
The yellow romper look so good on you and i like the puffy short. I don;t think it would look as nice with basic short.
I am also short (5'1) and I agree, the way things sit on the body can shorten ppl and that one was definitely shortening your torso
I feel like Cassie is the epiphany of when you have a great idea, you hire a professional to execute it. Like her prices are up there with lululemon and alo but the designs and tailoring are subpar in comparison. I feel like a team of professional designers can help her a lot.
The black dress looks amazing on you
Yay another Tina fashion haul!!
Just watching you lits my mood. This was a hilarious episode. Thanks T
loving this hairstyle on you! so fresh and it really enhances your features! ❤
I love your hair! You look good!
the third maxi dress was so pretty omg
OMG! That bang! GORGEOUS!!!! 😍♥️♥️♥️♥️
Long dress is from ribbed biflex. It`s super popular for swimsuits. But it`s more or less cheap. If you have a sewing machine but not a serger it`s to go for a good swimsuit.
I think its the color and a size too big for the pirouette dress. Black, dark blue or dark purple would be beautiful
Yeah I should exchange for the black
@@tina_yongplease post when you do ❤
thanks tina for uploading! i am having some anxiety so this is a good video to help distract me.
Tina standing amongst those trees cracked me upp 🤣🤣🤣
The hiking skorts are the best for playing tennis. The pockets are so good for holding balls
My wildest dream is you and cassey collaborating for making an outfit, with your feedbacks and her resources and talent 🔥
The fringe is beautiful on you!! 😮❤❤
Awesome magic show and love the video in general as I've been researching PopFlex before buying anything this is sooooo helpful!
i so rarely watch clothing hauls (usually people aren’t my shape/size or trying on things in my style) but i really like you humor
I appreciate you sharing this haul. I was super curious about the brand.
I applauded out of reflex when she started the magic show 😅😂 That was too funny!!! 😂😂😂
I have the long sleeve and the sleeveless version of the body suit and am also short (5’1). I absolutely LOVE both versions, but I needed 5 inches cut off the hem!!!
Omg yay another Popflex video!! Love this! I would love love love if you tried out Mooncat’s nail polish💕
Your hair looks so cute!
Yess tina!!! i also run away from my problems
I have the hiking skort in the nude shade and I love it! I wouldn't wear it real hiking but I go hiking with my 5 year old so I wear it then. The only downside is it's hard to style cause it looks cute but your top has to go with it or it won't look good.
i love watching her videos, her ideas, designs..but personally, it's too pricey for me, not to mention the shipping fee since i live outside US
Tue pirouette dress has this very pprominent scoop in the fron which lools umusual. This scoop shoild the softer like a wave or somethong.
Love this haul! I actually also have the skort in brown and it’s one of my favorite pieces! I usually wear it for flights as it’s pretty comfortable and convenient to wear things with pockets haha, and I usually get many compliments on this piece! The only downside is that it pills very very very easily against anything I sit on haha…so I have to use the pill fabric remover all the time 😅
Thank you for your review! I’m also a short girl so it helps a lot! ❤
I actually got to try their skirt in target and as a 3x 4x at the time it looked wayyyy good on me now ive lost weight and im glad i held off on buying it
I wonder if the maxi dress is the same material as the Hunza G bathing suits?
Distracted by how cute you look in this video ❤. The hair, the makeup.💅
Loved the video ❤
THE LAST FIT OMGGGGGGG YOU LOOK SO CUTE PLEAASEE
