I think Redmond just reached out to his trusty uncle for help to dispose of or cover up Derrick’s body (after all, he was a human trafficker lol), and he set them up with the Aurora Society. They probably didn’t even know Derrick was revived until that night, that’s why everyone looked so shocked.

My theory is that he wants to put our ciel soul into the living corpse of the real Ciel, so a complete phantomhive is created, cuz see, real Ciel has strong body created but no soul, and our Ciel has strong and tasty soul but weak body. Also Undertaker is probably their grandfather. The main villain is not Undertaker, but the queen likely.
