You are one of my favorite channels. I always learn something when I watch because you go into details without being overly wordy. How do you do that!?😆
❤️Beautiful! It sure does look satin smooth. It almost has a metallic look to it. Love your hard work & explaining your steps. 🙏🏼😎😊🇨🇦 Cheers 🥂
Thank you so much!
Paper bags work very well, too for the final sand. Crazy but I really works and it's free. Good work!!!

Thanks!😊
Hi Amy. You painted a beautiful smooth looking piece of furniture. Love the color. I agree with you, that the sanding in between coats is what gives you the smooth look. So well done!! 👍🥰🥰 🥰
Really smooth and buttery! Lovely color! Thanks so much for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Question. Can you add a little bit of paint to the primer? That way you don’t have to apply so many coats of paint.
hEY CUTE STUFF... good job
Thanks!
What if you don't have a sprayer?
And what if you are painting dark navy or black?
Do you get the orange peel look with a roller ?
What did you do with that long crack on the top? Did the paint just fill it in? Wonderful results!
Thank you! It’s actually an extension, like a table leaf. I don’t think anyone would go through the trouble of removing it though. It’s screwed on.

After you are finished sanding... You WIPE it off to clean it with a TACK CLOTH... Right?
So many people forget to Wipe off the furniture before painting it... Big Mistake.
Do NOT just wipe it off with a Damp Cloth... Use a TACK CLOTH...
I have used a Baby Wipe when I could find a Tack cloth to buy.
I don’t use tack cloths anymore. I find they are very hard to work with being so sticky and leaving residue.

Leaving Residue?
Hum... I have never had that problem... but I also do not Rub hard on the furniture... I just lightly rub over the furniture... I also Strip/Refurbish RVs and Travel Trailers... Repainting...
Truthfully... Baby Wipes work just as well and a lot cheaper.
Thank YOU again for all of you BEAUTIFUL Videos... Amazing.
i want to buy just to eat, yummy!
Beautiful work Amy...so you don't get any orange peel bumps with a High density foam roller...I gotta try this for inside painting ..what brand do you use ..again beautiful work❤❤
Thanks Debra😊
There are a few ways around the orange peel. It really depends on the paint you’re using. When I use Dixie Bell’s chalk mineral paint and the foam roller, I always have my water mister and that gets rid of any potential orange peel. If I’m using an all in one, most of the time it’s self-leveling, but if I do get a little bit of orange peel bumps, the sanding in between coats completely eliminates it.
You can use any high density foam roller. I usually get mine from Home Depot.
So pretty! Almost looks shimmery!❤️
I am always trying to avoid the orange peel with the roller … using fusion mineral paint which is self levelling and sanding and cleaning between coats. Most time the first coat is perfect but with second or third coat again orange peel which makes me crazy 😡 could this be also depending on type of roller , mine is a foam type ? Either I am cleaning it with water or keep it in a bag between coats
You sound like your from minnesota.
