I Played House Flipper For 40 Hours... - Huckster's House

- Thanks to the ongoing quarantine - I got to take my time (A lot of it) and really get into a few games. This being one of the main ones.. I cannot tell you enough how satisfying it is to rebuild a house in this game. If you enjoyed build mode in The Sims, you'd definitely enjoy this! Here's what I managed to do to the "Huckster's House" - a.k.a. the house from Breaking Bad.

This is awesome. I’ve been playing HF for a couple weeks now. I’m obsessed with it but I realized I don’t have a natural talent for flipping lol. Been on YT and Pinterest finding inspiration. Wish me luck

Do you not think it was lagging because you have way too many plants and trees and a lot of stuff around?
As you do have a high computer I would still think it would lag in my opinion I would think it’s the plans and everything around. Maybe not but the house looks very nice.
That definitely had a lot to do with it. I still think the game should be a tad better optimized though. That being said, I'm fairly confident it runs better these days.

Which part of the garden? A good portion of the items I used to create it were from the Garden DLC

How did you cover the hole in the wall?
Not sure if you maybe mean the hole in the floor - cause I don't recall a hole in the wall. If thats the case - I just put an outdoor floor tile over it I believe. I think certain rugs might work too.
@@VikingPoodle Oh I mean the floor. Where can I get that outdoor floor? A carpet doesnt work to cover it up

@@carltaruc1463 I'd say wait till they go on sale - but if you're really enjoying the game the dlcs are absolutely worth it. They add a lot of nice options. I went kinda crazy with the garden on mine- and at times it was really tedious .. But I had a lot of fun with it.

Were you able to color that one spot behind the bush by the entrance door? I can’t seem to get it.
I believe so. I know that some of the areas can be tricky to get a brush or plaster on but it's do-able for sure. I'll take a look in a bit to see if I can repeat it.
@@VikingPoodle been trying for the past couple of hours to try to hit it. I just cant seem to find an opening because of the bush.
@@gwstreams Are you talking about the bush by the front door - like your trying to paint the exterior wall behind it? I'm not sure if it's different on console or not - but I just aim above it and it highlights just fine.
@@VikingPoodle It's the bush by the front door that sits under the window. Im on the console.
@@gwstreams Wow. Y'know what - I just looked and noticed it's not tiled like the rest of the house. I tried just about every angle and couldn't get it. What a weird oversight. I guess there's no way to get it
For Xbox one, The Garden DLC has been recieving bad reviews for problems it needs to be fixed on. I was looking forward to it but I'll have to wait until it's all ok.
Ahhh that's a damn shame. I can't say I'm surprised tho. The game has some optimization issues even on high end pcs. I really hope they find a way to get it all working tho. Thanks for the comment :)
@@VikingPoodle you're welcome 😄 I haven't been playing the game much often as it's gotten boring but I'm working on the hackers loft and slowly managing a different design. Managed to somehow stick a normal door over the robotic door with walls and on the other side I put two small cupboards and stuff. It's getting there as I'm just working what I have.
The problem is the lighting for that loft, When you go upstairs the downstairs lights are off and the place would be still dark sadly.lol
@@AnimeVampireFanGirl I've been keeping an eye on the game since I started going back to work back in May 2020 and its been hard finding inspiration to start playing again- but reading your comment right now might've done it for me. I forgot how satisfying it can be to force the game to work with your vision of a space. Gonna try it again soon :)
@@VikingPoodle 😄 if I could do a clip I would but with how RUclips is and it's compilation of stuff, I don't think I can. I did it last time and it sent me a message about a whole bunch of stuff. Lol.
The first room area I made a living room with a nice inner brick wall (not the straight bricks) and the outer top walls above with one long single wall on each end side of the room, The walls painted blood red (Dark red), Flower light (The yellow ceiling flower), A couch one (Black with red pillows) the left side of the room with the fireplace on the right side with a TV and a rug in front of it (Red), Sliding door between the two small single cupboards as you walk further down.
I tried using the Space where the bathroom used to be to make a small open area with wall TV, Book case, consoles, dvd player on top, some Xmas lights for decorating, The nights cloudy mountain wall paper and a nice cosy couch that looks like a bed with a bedside table. I even put up a picture and a rug there to make it cosy.
On right I made a nice small bathroom with a shower and all I need. A nice large kitchen starting from the outside bathroom wall to the wall side with the large windows. I haven't decided yet for the rest.
The upstairs will still be a bedroom lol
I really wish they update PS4 Version of the game but it probably to old now I’m not sure how long it came out on PS4
Have they not upadated in a while? They seem to he pretty consistently updating PC as far as I can tell. Is the ps4 version unstable?
@@VikingPoodle I’ve watched videos that has HGTV update and as far as I know PlayStation don’t have that update I think they have had General bug fixes I don’t know lol
