That was the best-quality upload featuring this performance I could find online, and in fact it was the only one. It is a mimed performance to the single, and this is what I was looking for in order to make a music video for the single. This was the best one of three mimed performances that I found. There are other performances that people have redubbed with the single, but they are live performances, so they do not sync up with the single without a lot of speed manipulation, and the result is something unnatural and phony.
For some reason, I had to do a lot of speed manipulation to get this footage to sync to the single even though it is clear that the performance was a mimed one to the single. The source video did not have the original audio track from the TV show on it; someone had already redubbed the footage with the single. That video has the picture and sound running in sync with one another quite well, but when I replaced the audio track for a very high-quality one, I found I had to do quite a lot of work to get the footage to sync up to it. The audio track I have used is a CD-quality 16-bit/44.1kHz AIFF digital download I purchased from Qobuz at the following page: www.qobuz.com/...
I found that compared to this HQ audio track, the footage was running a bit slow during most of the song and a bit fast during a four-second passage starting at 2:16. I also found that at the beginning of the song, the footage was running late compared to the sound, in the middle it was running in sync with the sound, and then after this it was running early compared to the sound, so that by the end it was running just as early as it had been running late at the beginning. I have manipulated the speed of the footage to get it all in sync with this HQ audio track.
I have also upscaled the resolution from 720p to 1080p, as this increases the bitrate, which slightly improves picture quality at all the different resolution settings the viewer can select and allows for the highest-quality audio, but please be aware that playing it at the 1080p setting is not going to make it look as good as a true 1080p video. I have also added optional subtitles for the lyrics.

It was released in 1965, and I believe it was first released as a single. According to Wikipedia, this single was released on April 15, 1965, and according to All Music dot com, the album "This Is Jackie DeShannon", which was the first album to include this track, was released in August 1965. According to Wikipedia, this single went to No. 1 in Canada, and reached No. 7 in Jackie's native USA. No other territories are mentioned.

In this case "HQ Audio" means adding a crap ton of high end to make this upload very crispy and shrill sounding.

Having read your comment, I have just listened to all the different digital downloads of this track available on Qobuz, and the only difference I notice is that two of them have the bass mixed a little louder than all the others (and this one is not one of those). To my ears, the high end doesn't sound any different on any of them. The one I have used in this upload is from the album "What The World Needs Now Is… Jackie DeShannon - The Definitive Collection".
