So far, this is the best reviewer not just for guitar pedal, but most likely for anything. Absolutely clear pronunciation and articulation. Handsome, does his homework well.
Very comprehensive, easy to understand and educational review. Thank you very much for sharing your expertise with us, casual mortals..

Sounds pretty good! I'd probably be more likely to dial up some of those more extreme settings with a pedal like this. There are so many good "regular" delays and reverbs out there and I'd guess lots of folks probably already own at least one. BUT....being able blend a reverse delay with a big reverb sound in one pedal at $49 would be a strong selling point for me. Setting the reverse delay to a completely wet signal and adding a big reverb sound to it is a very popular effect among certain folks.

Yes the extreme reverse is quite a trip. I have played with it since and its fun to lose yourself in ambient soup.

Sounds awesome! Great job on discribing and playing this pedal. This will go into my 'to purchase ' list. At $49 U.S., not bad at all!!

This demo is clear, you show things separately, point out the differences in modes, then give context examples. Glad you explained it can do full wet/no dry. I was also wondering if the reverb mode knob smoothly blended between modes, and you show that it dips out to mark the change. I usually end up buying pedals just to answer these types of questions for myself. I wish it could be tapped when the pedal was bypassed. I like to get it in time with the drummer and then switch it on already in sync. From what I've read the tap tempo is only available when the unit is engaged. But as I plan to use it always-on with a loop switcher, I can have it sitting in tap mode at all times. But it does originate directly from outer space apparently, that's worth 49 I think.

Not a big user of time based effects but this sounds good at what it is really enjoyed your acoustic tones with it though sounds more like a classical guitar with nylon strings to me than the dreadnought it is I imagine if you got your settings right then you could run it pretty much as a chorus pedal too it seems that it tries to give you the whole wet dry rig in one which if you can dial it in is amazing for a £50 pedal vs running a whole second rig what an ambient pedal

Try to create a famous delay guys like U2/the edge style delay and pink floyd “the wall” delay sample for this pedal.

I would rather buy a used Alessis quadraverb or microverb half rack. The micro was used by lukather on the boys of summer song. It can't do ambient but digitech makes a good ambient reverb you can get used for the same price. Seems they're trying to over sell it with the name.

Does it have TAIL function? its when you turn off the effect and still lingers depending on the repeats

  • @mikeshanermusic

Isn't there a hold/tail function if holding down switch while powering up?

What an ambient pedal. Ha! You can tell you're approaching the big 5-0 with the comment about having to need perfect eyesight to read the instructions (I speak as someone who started needing/wearing multifocals late last year). Have to say I always thought RHCP stood for Red Hot Chili Peppers, but... Nice sounding pedal, especially with the acoustic guitar. I'd have cranked everything to max to see how it sounded, but perhaps that's just me. I like reverb because it hides my mistakes. :-) Oh, yes, and "Have a JD" or something from the last video as I forgot to post on it.
