This storyboard makes Adrian even more terrifying that he already must have been, i mean, imagine being a soldier in the great war, killing an enemy and the next few days you see him again, then one of your allies kills him, and he comes back, then you manage to kill him again, and he comes back, and he keeps coming back.
What’s most impressive about this crazy bastard is that he wasn’t some guy who got through shit unharmed and went back. The guy got torn to shreds over and over and just kept yelling “MORE!!!” No matter how many chunks he lost.
Fun fact- After being maimed- half blinded, and otherwise crippled, Adrian Wiart would serve as an advisor in Poland during the Second World War, then immediately ship himself to Yugoslavia, where he was captured by the Italians, and then- After five escape attempts- Once liberated by Allied forces, shipped himself off to China where he advised Kuomintang forces in their fight against Japan. God rest and god speed, Wiart.
His thirst for great battles was so absolute that if he was born during the reign of the Roman Empire, he would've been mistaken as the war god Mars himself.
...Considering how much of a warrior Adrian Carton De Wiart was, I feel Death wasn't so much afraid of him... But was actually _eager_ to have to fight him. One of the many things death has been portrayed, as as a _Warrior..._ So it is not hard for me to imagine Death throwing off the cloak to reveal a Soldier's uniform, along with a weapon, with Death and Adrian Carton De Wiart charging to clash their weapons.
"Frankly, I quite enjoyed the war." the most BADASS soldier of all time. This man is not a soldier, he's THE definition of WARRIOR. This man took bullets, shrapnel, entire cannonades and KEPT. COMING. BACK. No matter how many times he tried. And why? Because this was what he liked to do, and nobody could separate him from his favourite hobby. Even Death.
oh my fucking god dude?? this is absolutely insane, it's downright shocking how unseen this is. hope it gets bigger in future because it's genuinely amazing and such a good depiction of the legendary kind of man Adrian Carton De Wiart was, congrats for real
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Still needs some timing changes but I am very proud of the result. Let's see if I can do a proper animatic out of this and not only a storyboard! Thank you so much again!
Incredible work, both on artistic and emotional level. As a huge fan of animatics and Sabaton I am thrilled to have found this masterpiece, thank you for this tribute to Sir Adrian's incredible resolve, what a legend of a soldier
Golly gosh this is actually insane dude, pretty much half a year and just barely getting over 250 views is genuinely CRIMINAL !!! This is genuinely fantastic work and really puts another filter of badass on an already incredible man, the storyboard is insanely well done and there are some great ideas littered throughout it. THANKFULLY you have a link to all your work so at the very least I'm glad I can see all your great stuff outside of RUclips. Honestly great work man, keep it up
@@ParaXero Thank you so much for this amazing comment! I've been out of youtube for a while, working on different projects during this year, but it makes me so happy to read such awesome feedback! Thanks a lot
...I personally feel that Death was _impressed._ This warrior shook off injuries and even diseases that would have killed many mortal men... And he prevailed. It took his mortal form _giving up_ before his spirit and mind even did... And even in death, still he fought. It really would have been fitting to imagine Death switching to the form of a fellow warrior, grinning at _actually_ facing down someone worthy of his blades, all as Adrian Carton De Wiart charges straight at Death with a warcry.
@@Victor-056 True and what I don't understand is why has no one made a movie about this man? That is a movie I would see everyday. The writers even have his Autobiography as a script reference.

Adrian is the type of person to give the middle finger to Death and saying "No, you are not taking me yet"
CRIMINALLY.
UNDERRATED.

@@liam8117 menwhile god: WHAT THE ACTUAL FU-
The most accurate thing in this entire Video is him trying to kill death.

And the dude died age 83 of old age! As the saying goes “fear the old men in a profession in which the young die…”
It sounds like Adrian was one of those few lucky enough to be born with an Indomitable human spirit. What a hero.
You forgot that he fought in norway in the period inbetween escaping poland and heading off to yugoslavia.
His thirst for great battles was so absolute that if he was born during the reign of the Roman Empire, he would've been mistaken as the war god Mars himself.
Perhaps seen as His champion on Earth.

Two of my favorite things Animatics and Sabaton. HOW ARE THERE NOT MORE OF THESE?!
10/10 WORK!
Damnnn!!!!
Death had to wait for him to fall asleep before taking him. For if Adrian Carton De Wiart was awake, there would be a fight.
The exact same was said about our 26th President Theodore Roosevelt
