One thing I really appreciate is that whenever you mention a champion you bring up a picture of them somewhere on the screen, this is really helpful for people still learning the names of all the champions in the game. For example when you mentioned Kha Zix you brought up his picture in the corner of the screen even though it wasn't necessary you still decided to go the extra mile and add the picture.
In wild rift he is my new enemy. I have been playing Yone since his release and everytime I Soul Unbound I get killed either on the way back or he camps my body even under tower.
his kit is flexible, he has a good poke harrass and he has like 2 dashes for engage and disengage he has fast skills casts animations and fast q speed, slightly low on cooldown which makes him being able to harrass more, he has 9xthe infinity outplay potential and a toxic community for zed (recalls in front of you with a championship zed skin and spam mastery emote) well not everyone is a toxic zed and he has that anime antagonist god ninja feels (edit: yes I am exagerating it but that is how I see it) very flashy on play, or should I say he has a shady play... ok erase that but overall he has almost everything
He is a ninja and he delivers the iconic shadow substitute fantasy of it completely, you can see perfectly his theme in the gameplay, as you mentioned a common trope that people love but a really well executed one
well, he has more poke than some mages, has more damage after 6 than some assasins, has a high skill ceiling and very little ways to directly (through draft i mean) counter him since his abilities are usable in basically the same way every time regardless of the enemy champion's abilities
I would love to see a "why no one plays bard" i'm a bard main and love the champion since I started playing him and ,despite the really punishing gameplay if you play him wrong, I think he's a nice champion with huge impact in the game and fits in almost every composition.
I remember playing against a Zed as Asol, the dude told me that he can't wait for his montage. By the end of the game the guy was 1/5, didn't even manage to kill me once.
Dont get me wrong, zed can be a pain to lane against but at least you aint dealing with an akali. I played her one time for the first time just to try out a skin and i went 17/1 by dragging my nuts across the keyboard.

I sorta get by what you mean but never in my i can think zed balanced. He is a very strong assassin and his kit is made for outplay. His outplay exceed that of akali. And he also is the only assassin that has good neutral if im not wrong. Like being a ranged assasian not talking about his q. But with his shadow you xan get some good harrass on ur opponent and towerdive with ur ult once they are low and easily escape with ur ult shadow. I don't really think either akali or zed is balanced. They both are good design but from gameplay perspective they are inbalanced. You loudly claiming akali to be more broken while zed is clearly fine cause you love edgy boys is too much at this point. Probably take a break from this game
And btw i got debanoir zed skin and i bought him. Then played with him and my first match was 12/1 or smth like that. Enemy team surrendered. So in that sense zed is also broken?

2:25 wrong here about qiyana. Brush Q solves that problem. Qiyana is good in teamfighto only if u are extremely fed or if u hand a crazy ult (rarely happens). U usually just hold with brush q and 1 shot squishies then brush q for safety. late game, u can be almost perma invis. (4 second w and 3.5 second invis). However, if you play her correctly as I mentioned before (2v2 and 3v3), your River-Q + teammate dmg = insta squishy death. A simple E Q W Q (ice guargeintees they get hit by ur combo and teammates dmg) would kill a champ like a nidalee if they were fighting with ur jgler
I love Zed because when I first started playing in s5 I remember my first time in the Mid Lane I got trashed by a Mastery 5 Zed (this was before mastery 6 and 7 was even a thing) and I was just unable to do anything against him so I saved up all my IP cause he still cost 6300 and it was also way harder to even earn currency then and bought Zed. Haven’t looked back since

Honestly i think we need more diversity in the assassin class, especially more Ranged assassins. Now, now, now, before you somehow find my house and do unspeakable things to me, yes Ranged assassins can be very easy to mess up and yes, there's one (LeBlanc) wich has been a nightmare in the game's history until Riot gutted her. Im also aware that Kai'sa and Twitch can be considered assassins, but that's more of a case of a Marksman having assassin traits, not an Assassin being ranged. LB is a fine design but has one big problem: Too much damage AND too much CC. I'd be fine with her damage if her Chains slowed, and i'd be fine with her CC if her burst were lower and her CDs were lower as well, but she's just a medium-low risk medium-high reward design, with great CC chain and huge instantaneous burst. If anything her attemped minirework was fine if not for the fact her Q + Gunblade made her heal like 300 HP per wave instantly. Overall i feel like Riot tried a ranged assassin, got traumatized by how broken she was and decided that all assassins must be super high risk high reward melee champs with huge burst. Assassin-type champions with great mobility and safety but overall low damage can be really good, and ranged assassins can be really good as well, just be careful when you try something different or we may end up with a permastealth assassin with hard CC great burst insane survivability poke negation and a true execution ult that triples the gold and resets on every takedown and is meant for and forced into a super uncomfortable role. Oh, wait...

He’s broken this season, but generally I think nobody plays him if he’s not broken unlink zed and akali since people love champions like those, he was my main for 2 seasons now but the constant nerfs made him unplayable for me and soon nobody else will, I think

Zed main here I play zed because bullying adc mains never gets old to me and I'm sure all other zed mains can agree. Like it's so funny when an adc plays the game perfectly only for a zed to just ignore their entire frontline, murder them and escape all in 0.8 seconds

Zed is a manaless AD poke artillery tank assassin marksman lane bully hyper scaling teamfight split pusher. The AD part is important as their items are incredibly strong and all AD isn't that bad anymore thanks to seryldas/black cleaver and shields are no longer an issue due to serpents fang. Also you force mages to pay the 2.6k Mage tax for Zhonyas if you want to play the game but you don't deal any damage so it's still a win win for Zed.
i played zed and i learned to play neutral fast when everyone for some dang reason picks heimerdinger mid and it was pretty much a learning curve to learn how to play against heimerdinger rather than actually playing zed
@Vars I main Zed for the gameplay aspect. The same reason you gave towards the end of the video. There are times where I can't bring myself to play any other champion because it's just not the same. There's always something I could've done better or improve on.
Zed players appear a lot better than they actually because Zed have a relatively safe laning phase and a very forgiving kit since the range and hit box of his Q is huge and the hitbox of his E is also huge and add the fact that that he can extend his range with his W literally makes him a very low risk for the reward. I think the statement you made" I can't bring myself to play other champions because it's not the same. There's something I can improve on." Means that you don't enjoy playing other champions who have a high risk high reward playstyle because it requires real skills and mechanics to be played, trust me that you won't improve as a player skill wise and mechanic wise if you continue to main Zed because yeah Zed is a high skill cap champ but he is also a brain dead champ and you and a lot players can get away playing him with having poor mechanics and still be decent in a game. If you wanna improve your mechanics and skills as player then main either Katarina, Yasuo or Akali

My champ pool isn't exclusive to Zed( as much as id like to i won't fk over my comp just cuz i want zed), I've made an effort to include champs that I can flex in other lanes both ap and ad. Just yesterday I had a Grag vs Zed matchup on top ( don't ask , it's low elo ) and most of the times we were trading a little as possible so we don't make a mistake . ( Lane was in my favor cuz I had more sustain than him )

Id say everybody plays him because he's so incredibly safe yet has huge burst. I don't even bother trying to peel against a Zed because without HARD cc you can't stop him killing your carry and you can't stop him escaping again after it.
Incredibly safe for the reward Riot should make adjustments to his kit especially in hi Q and E to make him have more risk for the reward maybe lower the hitbox of his Q or decrease its range because the range and hit box of his Q is extremely large and the the AOE from his E is wide and add the fact that he can extend his range with his W really makes him the safest assassin in the game.
main reason for me is just zed playstyle same with ap shaco just felt very compatible to me. when i started playing zed i actually didn't search him in yt for tutorials same with ap shaco. i just went to vs AI and normal games and found out that i was playing them quite naturally. for my ap shaco i started playing him before i found out about pink ward and when my friend told me to watch pink ward i said sure then when i watched him i was amazed cause it was similar to how i played ap shaco.
he also can build various builds. If enemy has too much tanky champions, have can pick conq, eclipse, black cleaver, serylda and be perfectly ok. Not a lot champions can do that
Another reason is that Zed is one of Riot favorite champon. He has almost never been weak and when the meta is unfavorable for him he is almost instant buffed + he is (im 95 % sure of it) always taken into consideration when it comes to items and runes changes (buff/nerf removal or creation of new ones)

How to make Zed an actually balanced Assassin who's lowest skill floor level will now be matching the reward levels he gets from a kill. 1 Remove the slow from his E and instead, have his Q give a Mark which he can trigger by hitting someone with at least 2 Qs within a sec of casting it (from his W mimicking his Q i mean). If he does indeed hit you with his Q like that, then apply the slow. 2 Place a reasonable limit range from returning to his shadows around 500-550. 4 Place a 12 sec CD on his passive when executing champions which resets to 2 secs for each kill done by the damage of the effect of the passive and 3 secs CD for minion kills so he can't out-farm you just because he has energy and can stay back farming with his passive easily. Is this so hard Riot games? No it's not. DO IT!

Why no one(?) plays Talon. Something that makes me wonder, Talon seems to fit quite the description of a popular character: Slayer, somewhat edgy, good mobility (+ parkour memes), midlaner, good skill celling. Yet, besides the korean server, I almost never see talon neither being picked or banned. (Well, at least from my experience, feel free to correct me) Anyway, It's always a pleasure watching your videos.
Zed is the reason Assassins are UNHEALTHY for the game. As you stated, he has THREE or FOUR BLINKS, that is literally 2-3 too many. And as stated, he cannot be stopped by usual means of stopping such things, meaning there is no counterplay to it other then praying he doesn't target you. Granted there are items that counter him, Zonya being the main key item that counters him. Assassins are bad for league of legends in the balance world, since their main job is to 100-0 a target and get out, for a competitive game like League, that is a bad thing.

Playing Zed is like league with training wheels on constantly, only having to learn some of the aspects of league gives you a massive advantage, and on top of that he`s rewarded for this by being a 1v9 style snowball champ. Energy/no mana should be removed from the game
Ik why every one plays zed. High damage, high mobility and shadow shenanigans. An example of shadow shenanigans is ulting onto the enemy midlaner chasing them down blinking back to your ult shadow which is safely in a bush or far back in lane then let the mark kill them. TL; DR Zed is most playable because he helps release the good happy chemical when you outplay and is relatable.
I don't play mid, especially if I'm against Zed and Katarina due to the fact the dash and dodge ALL THE FUCKING TIME and I just can't be bothered to focus on that. Zed is really powerfull mid game if have not enough armour but late game he really stays back especially in teamfights.

Trust me bard is one of the most one tricked champs above diamond. Only high elo knows he exists but there he has 20% pick rate and like 33 %ban rate

I love Zed because when I first started playing in s5 I remember my first time in the Mid Lane I got trashed by a Mastery 5 Zed (this was before mastery 6 and 7 was even a thing) and I was just unable to do anything against him so I saved up all my IP cause he still cost 6300 and it was also way harder to even earn currency then and bought Zed. Haven’t looked back since

Honestly i think we need more diversity in the assassin class, especially more Ranged assassins.
Now, now, now, before you somehow find my house and do unspeakable things to me, yes Ranged assassins can be very easy to mess up and yes, there's one (LeBlanc) wich has been a nightmare in the game's history until Riot gutted her. Im also aware that Kai'sa and Twitch can be considered assassins, but that's more of a case of a Marksman having assassin traits, not an Assassin being ranged.
LB is a fine design but has one big problem: Too much damage AND too much CC. I'd be fine with her damage if her Chains slowed, and i'd be fine with her CC if her burst were lower and her CDs were lower as well, but she's just a medium-low risk medium-high reward design, with great CC chain and huge instantaneous burst. If anything her attemped minirework was fine if not for the fact her Q + Gunblade made her heal like 300 HP per wave instantly.
Overall i feel like Riot tried a ranged assassin, got traumatized by how broken she was and decided that all assassins must be super high risk high reward melee champs with huge burst.
Assassin-type champions with great mobility and safety but overall low damage can be really good, and ranged assassins can be really good as well, just be careful when you try something different or we may end up with a permastealth assassin with hard CC great burst insane survivability poke negation and a true execution ult that triples the gold and resets on every takedown and is meant for and forced into a super uncomfortable role.

Zed is a manaless AD poke artillery tank assassin marksman lane bully hyper scaling teamfight split pusher. The AD part is important as their items are incredibly strong and all AD isn't that bad anymore thanks to seryldas/black cleaver and shields are no longer an issue due to serpents fang. Also you force mages to pay the 2.6k Mage tax for Zhonyas if you want to play the game but you don't deal any damage so it's still a win win for Zed.
When I first started playing I was getting wrecked by Zed left and right so now he's my permaban whenever I'm mid. I hate Zed so much.
i played zed and i learned to play neutral fast when everyone for some dang reason picks heimerdinger mid and it was pretty much a learning curve to learn how to play against heimerdinger rather than actually playing zed

@Vars I main Zed for the gameplay aspect. The same reason you gave towards the end of the video. There are times where I can't bring myself to play any other champion because it's just not the same. There's always something I could've done better or improve on.
Zed players appear a lot better than they actually because Zed have a relatively safe laning phase and a very forgiving kit since the range and hit box of his Q is huge and the hitbox of his E is also huge and add the fact that that he can extend his range with his W literally makes him a very low risk for the reward. I think the statement you made" I can't bring myself to play other champions because it's not the same. There's something I can improve on." Means that you don't enjoy playing other champions who have a high risk high reward playstyle because it requires real skills and mechanics to be played, trust me that you won't improve as a player skill wise and mechanic wise if you continue to main Zed because yeah Zed is a high skill cap champ but he is also a brain dead champ and you and a lot players can get away playing him with having poor mechanics and still be decent in a game.
If you wanna improve your mechanics and skills as player then main either

My champ pool isn't exclusive to Zed( as much as id like to i won't fk over my comp just cuz i want zed), I've made an effort to include champs that I can flex in other lanes both ap and ad. Just yesterday I had a Grag vs Zed matchup on top ( don't ask , it's low elo ) and most of the times we were trading a little as possible so we don't make a mistake . ( Lane was in my favor cuz I had more sustain than him )
Zed also has kind of a low floor compared to most assassins, so he’s easy to pick up. His ceiling is pretty high as well.
I'd love to see a "Why No One Plays Zac". I wonder if there's anything that isn't gameplay-relevant as to why no one plays him, probably because he's just a giant naked boogerman.

1:45 well that and the fact that assassins are fairly bad duelists. The only good toplane assassin is Akali, the best duelist assassin.
Id say everybody plays him because he's so incredibly safe yet has huge burst. I don't even bother trying to peel against a Zed because without HARD cc you can't stop him killing your carry and you can't stop him escaping again after it.

Riot should make adjustments to his kit especially in hi Q and E to make him have more risk for the reward maybe lower the hitbox of his Q or decrease its range because the range and hit box of his Q is extremely large and the the AOE from his E is wide and add the fact that he can extend his range with his W really makes him the safest assassin in the game.

main reason for me is just zed playstyle same with ap shaco just felt very compatible to me. when i started playing zed i actually didn't search him in yt for tutorials same with ap shaco. i just went to vs AI and normal games and found out that i was playing them quite naturally. for my ap shaco i started playing him before i found out about pink ward and when my friend told me to watch pink ward i said sure then when i watched him i was amazed cause it was similar to how i played ap shaco.

Another reason is that Zed is one of Riot favorite champon. He has almost never been weak and when the meta is unfavorable for him he is almost instant buffed + he is (im 95 % sure of it) always taken into consideration when it comes to items and runes changes (buff/nerf removal or creation of new ones)

How to make Zed an actually balanced Assassin who's lowest skill floor level will now be matching the reward levels he gets from a kill.
1 Remove the slow from his E and instead, have his Q give a Mark which he can trigger by hitting someone with at least 2 Qs within a sec of casting it (from his W mimicking his Q i mean).
If he does indeed hit you with his Q like that, then apply the slow.
2 Place a reasonable limit range from returning to his shadows around 500-550.
4 Place a 12 sec CD on his passive when executing champions which resets to 2 secs for each kill done by the damage of the effect of the passive and 3 secs CD for minion kills so he can't out-farm you just because he has energy and can stay back farming with his passive easily.

Talon seems to fit quite the description of a popular character: Slayer, somewhat edgy, good mobility (+ parkour memes), midlaner, good skill celling.

Zed is the reason Assassins are UNHEALTHY for the game. As you stated, he has THREE or FOUR BLINKS, that is literally 2-3 too many. And as stated, he cannot be stopped by usual means of stopping such things, meaning there is no counterplay to it other then praying he doesn't target you. Granted there are items that counter him, Zonya being the main key item that counters him. Assassins are bad for league of legends in the balance world, since their main job is to 100-0 a target and get out, for a competitive game like League, that is a bad thing.

Zed is one of the most skill expressive champs in the game with alot of mechanics and timing you really need to play him well while also being extremely rewarding when you do pull it off

Edit: And just to clarify, since he doesent exactly fit either WEP or WNP, slot him into another Perfectly Designed video, you said Fiddle, TF and Voli were chosen because they are good at teaching their players the games mechanics, and i think Kassadin is a pretty good champion to learn about playing Assassins, as none of his abilities are intensely complicated but rather simple, and his high mana cost for his stacked ultimate creates a high risk playstyle while also teaching you to manage your resources

Playing Zed is like league with training wheels on constantly, only having to learn some of the aspects of league gives you a massive advantage, and on top of that he`s rewarded for this by being a 1v9 style snowball champ. Energy/no mana should be removed from the game

Ik why every one plays zed. High damage, high mobility and shadow shenanigans. An example of shadow shenanigans is ulting onto the enemy midlaner chasing them down blinking back to your ult shadow which is safely in a bush or far back in lane then let the mark kill them.
TL; DR
Zed is most playable because he helps release the good happy chemical when you outplay and is relatable.
I don't play mid, especially if I'm against Zed and Katarina due to the fact the dash and dodge ALL THE FUCKING TIME and I just can't be bothered to focus on that. Zed is really powerfull mid game if have not enough armour but late game he really stays back especially in teamfights.
