In lebanon qahwa would actually be pronounced “ ahwe” so the ending would be “e”like in “bet” , in Lebanon we use this “e” instead of the “a” in most cases when “a”is at the end , and sometimes we would also change the “a” to “e” when it’s in the middle . For example bāb(door) would be bēb , sajjāda (carpet) would be sijjēde , madrasa would be madrase , shubbāk ->shibbēk, warda -> warde , farāsha-> farāshe , some words wouldn’t change like 3omra , batta, 7atta (7atta we3gāl), natta (one jump) , habla ( dumb(female ))😅 , and so on

"karak" tea is actually something of Indian origin. A lot of Indians work in the UAE, and karak means "strong" or more exactly "karak" is the word for the sound when something moves suddenly, jerks, crackles . The skies/cloud "karak" in their own way when there's lighting. "Karak" and "crackle"/"crack" could be similar in concept, "karak" has on emphasis on strength, suddenness and aggression. Hindi/Urdu and English are both Indo European languages, and its highly possible for these words to have the same origin
