This video is just an example of why the new "don't touch the horse" rule needed to be put into place. This is not since the new rule was implemented as can be seen by the sign. It doesn't say "don't touch the horse" yet. It still says "don't touch the reins." You'll see people doing anything they wanted to these horses. They crowded them, irritated them, pawed at them all over, grabbed the reins and bridles, put their children in danger, etc.... Things not shown in this video that no doubt were factors as well were people kissing these horses, all but making out with them, hugging the horses, hanging all over them, getting in the box with them, selfishly parking themselves in front of the horses, so that no one else could get near the horse, and on and on!! On top of all of that, the guards were constantly trying to keep people off the reins.
Was the police not allowed to intervene ? The old lady just was holding onto the stirrups. What a gruesome bunch of humans. Ormonde where are you my darling ?❤
Ohhhh good god.. every word in this comment is true to the point…how “ real insanity “ is described here word by word… “ you took the words right out of my mouth “ 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
I have seen signs stating do not touch the horse but yet people still do. If the sign is on the left they touch on the right a d vice versa. The guard should ensure that people don't, period! Some guards allow them to still touch which means it'll still happen. That square line on the ground around d the box is next. Keeps all of them away! Another point is why is the guard and horse so far out of the box? This enables tourists to get too close and they wouldn't like it if their child's hand got bit!
Such beautiful animals, and they had to put up with that! NO ONE listens to anything anymore! What is so hard to understand? Do not touch the reins! Do not go in the lines! Horse may kick or bite! I love them too, but they are living creatures! Not something you can just grab!
THAT SIGN IS STILL NOT STOPING PEOPLE TOUCHING THE HORSES IN FACT IT SEEMS TO ATTRACT STUPID ONES TO DO IT AS A BIG JOKE THIS WILL NOT STOP U NLESS THOSE HORSES AND GUARDS ARE PROTECTED BEHIND A SAFE PLACE
So happy about the new rule. We do love the HCAV but one thing that you videographers could perhaps address, a lot actually, is that the bit that they are using is a torment to quite a few of the horses. It's really difficult for someone who loves horses to watch that too.
The horse is so overstimulated and it appears to be very upset with so many people touching it all over... the horses need to be at their ready so that if the guard tells it to move, the horse needs to move... all of that touching must be very stressful! Why cant a line be painted surrounding the horse guard and no tourist can step inside? The guards need to focus on other things than telling tourists to stop touching.
They need to put a fine on the no petting sign..you dont walk up to police touching them, or their k9 dogs..these are soldiers same thing...100£ fine for touching horses on duty.
This vid was filmed 28th, the new sign was up 29th and is available to view. London Chronicles always has the date of filming at the bottom of the Timestamp as well as information about the King's Lifeguards.
They have been! They have taken the horse withe the circle and line through it off. They have added do not touch the horses under the warning that the horses may kick and bite!
These “ morons “ in you language… do not have any respect for anyone else 12:20 except themselves.. they’re like “ they come from a different planet “ .. they’re a unique breed of their own 😮..to top that.. absolutely no manners at all …icing on the cake ….to finish describing them
Sorry I can't watch the video. When I see that everyone is still touching the horse, it makes me angry. Why doesn't the guard say anything or the police?
But there are guards that allow petting and getting too close to the horses. If it’s necessary to follow rules then the guards should be consistent. Otherwise the signs don’t mean anything. If one person can pet the horse and eat too close than so can others. Adult Tourists act like little children who act like brats, entitled and all that. Now when they change the guard only one guard hits the horse on the side. Why is that?
Must be torture for the horse to have all those hands grabbing at them. And with all that noise from the crowd ...I can hardly stand to look and listen.
In less than one hour there were over 340 tourists that got their photos taken with the horses and the King’s horsemen. The stress they put on the horses and the King’s horsemen is insane! The tourist’s hands that were put on the horses was close to half or over in my opinion! How very intrusive it is to both of them! The rules of not touching the horses in a must that it should and must be enforced! The sake of the horses is number one and secondly the King’s horseman is at stake! I hope this helps them both!
@@dianeedwards803the “ don’t touch the horse “ sign went up .. there was a blank faced clueless thick woman standing there staring at the horse & started mauling him on his face so the guard took his face away buy pulling on the reins.. she went away for a min. This video is filmed on Sunday.. the signs went up on Monday.. but a woman was waiting to maul the horse’s face as the sign was already there .. “ this nil in the brain dept. breed comes from outer space “
What the hell is wrong with this guard that he is not following the new rules and protecting his horse? He either needs to be severely reprimanded or released from service because of this harassment of the horses is totally ridiculous.
This is ghastly to watch now that we’ve seen how much better it became when the signs changed and the lines were painted. People should be ashamed of how they essentially mistreated an animal so they could get pictures. The horses were so agitated and the guards had way too much to contend with. Tourists were relentless.
I don't understand why this people wants a photo, video with this horse, when there are millions of horses in the world. Please leave the animal in peace!
That excuse of not understanding English is getting old. Stop making excuses for horrible behavior. What about mothers holding their babies right near a horses mouth or pushing their scared toddlers right next to huge horses or fathers instructing their families to stand right next to a restless huge horse so he can get "the perfect shot". Absolute idiocy of stupid humans.. Never thought the international dumbing down of humans would be brought about by smartphones. They are actually making humans stupid. Crazy.
@@SallyShockley-n4n true.. their was a girl & a boy age 8 & 5 being placed by their mum.. the horse bit the girl .. the girl started crying.. the mother stood her & brother away .. & started aiming for a good photo rather then calm down the girl.. a crying girls’s photo?.. honestly
Crowding around the horse and guard is totally unnecessary, so glad they changed the signs...but there are still STUPID PEOPLE out there! Stand back at least 8 feet
Yes I agree ..I will also stop watching...it makes me angry that the government allows such disrespect..also watching the people behaving so badly is just to much..bye
Whats funny about these guards is they don't guard any thing. They need several guards to guard them. And they cant see anything with those helmets. Isn't a guard supposed to watch out for suspicious activity? Only in England. 😂😂😂
Sorry..cannot help quitting. Cannot bear to watch, the guard not yelling to nerdies hands to stay away. Horsy keeps on tilting its head away from the hands he hated that touch him. Horsy, why did you not express your dislike, bite those hands, chew the fingers
It must be so boring for the horses every one comes up gets pic then clears off.. Could at least give the horse a bucket of water ( or tea? ) or a nose bag of oats and carrots.... No wonder the poor horse 🐴 wants to trott offffffff for a walk ✌️
Les touristes se montent dessus pour des selfis ou des photos, quel honte de laisser les gardes et le chevaux des heures et des heures plantés pour du fric
I think that the Household Cavalry hoesemen are too exposed to tourists annoyances, when on duty at Horse Guards. The people are allowed to get too close. Their colleagues of the Foot Guards, once had the same problems, when the sentry boxes were positioned outside the gates of Buckingham Palace or Clarence House. And for that reason they had to move all sentry boxes inside the gates of every royal residence in order to protect the soldiers from rude and disrespectful tourists. On the other hand, the Household Cavalry men are way too exposed and accessible by the people there on Whitehall. They can get too close, and in my opinion a simple warning sign is not enough to stop the people from annoying the horses and horsemen. I think they should be more protected by a physical barrier, like a chain or a rope in front of the sentry boxes (more or less like the Foot Guards at the Tower) and a "do not cross" sign, so no tourist could anymore have physical contact with the Guards. That in my opinion, is the next step to take, to preserve them from rude tourists.

These “ morons “ in you language… do not have any respect for anyone else 12:20 except themselves.. they’re like “ they come from a different planet “ .. they’re a unique breed of their own 😮..to top that.. absolutely no manners at all …icing on the cake ….to finish describing them
Comme je vous comprend !!!! Le pire beaucoup de commentaires dénoncent le laisser aller de ces malheureux gardes …..ça me révolte !! Monique 🇫🇷 🤝
@pierrerabier6388 I do not speak French but hope your response was positive...lol...😉❤️🐻☘️🇺🇲🎶
This is stressful to listen to and watch.
The people are rude, irritating and totally disrespectful
There she goes straight to 3 reins 😢
Yea about time these are special animals not toys to be mauled hope is enforced very stricty
This guard is allowing everyone to touch the reins, the horse and his stirrups! What is wrong with him? He’s asleep!
This is the "training bit" I believe. They need to get the Intel before doing what needs to be done. (Although I believe they have lots already.)
Just think of all the germs these people passed on to these poor horses.
People are just rubbing their hands on the horse not really petting, just annoying like a fly.
I wonder how they will keep people from touching the horses.
Yelling at them I hope. That seems to be all the Tourons understand.
@@dianeedwards803the “ don’t touch the horse “ sign went up .. there was a blank faced clueless thick woman standing there staring at the horse & started mauling him on his face so the guard took his face away buy pulling on the reins.. she went away for a min. CAME back & did the same..” this breed of morons come from a different planet “😮
Why doesn't the trooper stop people touching his horse. Or the Police??!!
Why isn't he telling them off ????
Why don’t you go down to Horse Guard Palace and help out!
What is going on you never see a horse. Really 😮
If you are frightened of horses get h... out of there.
What I see is disgusting to crazy 16:03
Nobody tod the guards cause they are still allowing it.
Old video! New ones show the new sign but it’s only been there a day three! It was working too. Hooray!
These tourists looking at the guard that they never see a human so crazy
Well obeying that sign is working real well isn’t it?
Why can I see the idiots still touching the horses?
Hermoso todo mis hermosos guardias💂💂💂💂💂💂🧑✈️🐴🐴🐴💂
What a toddlers 🤨 stay away from the horse 🤦♀️
Sign shows this as old video.
This video is filmed on Sunday.. the signs went up on Monday.. but a woman was waiting to maul the horse’s face as the sign was already there .. “ this nil in the brain dept. breed comes from outer space “
Walgelijk gedrag....
Foreigners 😮
What the hell is wrong with this guard that he is not following the new rules and protecting his horse? He either needs to be severely reprimanded or released from service because of this harassment of the horses is totally ridiculous.
Yay! Finally, happy for the horses. Poor guards still have to tell the ignorant ones tho .
This is ghastly to watch now that we’ve seen how much better it became when the signs changed and the lines were painted. People should be ashamed of how they essentially mistreated an animal so they could get pictures. The horses were so agitated and the guards had way too much to contend with. Tourists were relentless.
Why why why do they HAVE TO TOUCH THE HORSE and why why why do they put up 2 fingers when a picture is taken. Tourists can be really dumb
Олько японцы все кого- то хотят победить и поднимают два пальца. Возомнили о себе, забыли прошлое.
It must be hard on the horses' hooves, to stand still for so long, on hard surfaces.
I don't understand why this people wants a photo, video with this horse, when there are millions of horses in the world. Please leave the animal in peace!
“Don’t touch the horse”. - Not every visitor speaks or reads English!
Get your phone out & translate the language
& started aiming for a good photo rather then calm down the girl.. a crying girls’s photo?.. honestly
So gorgeous 😍
The female police does the best job with crowd control.
I can see how the horses can be happy with being pawed liked that.
Vous attendez quoi pour mettre une barrière de protection 😡😡😡
Crowding around the horse and guard is totally unnecessary, so glad they changed the signs...but there are still STUPID PEOPLE out there! Stand back at least 8 feet
Absolutely noodles heads this why these idiots been stopped from touching the horse
Then why are they still touching them????
My problem was did the guards not have the authority to say anything to these people I know if this was the USA this would not be allowed
Why do the riders slap their horses so hard❓
Yes I agree ..I will also stop watching...it makes me angry that the government allows such disrespect..also watching the people behaving so badly is just to much..bye
Whats funny about these guards is they don't guard any thing. They need several guards to guard them. And they cant see anything with those helmets. Isn't a guard supposed to watch out for suspicious activity? Only in England. 😂😂😂
Meu Deus que tortura deve ser para os pobres cavalos 🥺 pessoas rudes 😡😡
Sorry..cannot help quitting. Cannot bear to watch, the guard not yelling to nerdies hands to stay away. Horsy keeps on tilting its head away from the hands he hated that touch him. Horsy, why did you not express your dislike, bite those hands, chew the fingers
Why do people covered head to toe in black want to have their photo taken
It must be so boring for the horses every one comes up gets pic then clears off.. Could at least give the horse a bucket of water ( or tea? ) or a nose bag of oats and carrots.... No wonder the poor horse 🐴 wants to trott offffffff for a walk ✌️
NOT BEFORE TIME.
Какими идиотами выглядят трогающие лошадь на фоне этого объявления.
This is an old video, still got the don't touch the reins up
Just were are the armed guards most are in huddel talking and laughing woman gusrd is great
tienen muy poca educación 😤😤😤
I dont know how they manage to walk in those cumbersome boots 👢 😮 they would be better off in shorter boots with knee protection..
よくお馬さんががまんしてますね。これでもし事故が、おきたら
すざましく、さわがしんでしょね。こねやうなはひとわ、、
Why are you so quiet today?
Les touristes se montent dessus pour des selfis ou des photos, quel honte de laisser les gardes et le chevaux des heures et des heures plantés pour du fric
At last!
It’s not a farm.
It is my understanding that when the horse guard slaps the horse, that lets the horse know that the guard is getting ready to dismount.
These people are uncouth
Quelle besoin ont les gens de toucher le Cheval 🐎..
Regarder ne suffit pas !!! Lorsqu'ils sont bousculer où mordue Ils pleure 😏😏😏
