Sony Z-V1 - is it just for vloggers? I use it for photography & here is why

- I recently purchased two Sony Z-V1s and I do not use either of them for vlogging. It is a great little camera with amazing 4k video but it also takes amazing photos. In this video I explore its stills capabilities and compare it to my Sony RX100VA.

I used it for still photography and I returned it before 30
Days. If you have excellent light conditions you’ll have a very good photo, but when not, the result is not even decent. I preferred the canon g7 como mark iii for still photography, and the zv1 for video. When we talk about video with the zv1, any compact camera Can beat it. My humble opinion. I tried both at the same time for more than a month.
Just go one and I now tend to leave my large DSLR at home rather than lugging it around. A perfect camera for travel covering both video and stills which produces good quality images. Yes you can get better if you want to carry around a much larger camera but for me this has worked wonders. Love it. Thx for the review

I'm getting rid of my smartphone. I want to be able to use this as a replacement. Do you think its suitable as an upgrade to a top end smartphone camera?
How fast does it start up? Does it take long to get into photo mode in the moment?

Its a great stills camera. It has limitations due to its 1inch sensor and its handling is more suited to video, but I am very happy with the stills I get from it.
