Unfortunately they don’t allow it. I even had a tank ring RAM mount with an extension arm pointing flat away from me, but no, they think it is safer to attach it to the handlebars which means the GoPro extension arm is pointing towards me instead! You can see the clamp for it on the right. It is a shame, as from the tank you would see the movement in the handlebars more, but at least the dash/headlight on this bike is fixed to the headstock, rather than the forks, so you can still see some movement.
Thank you. This bike loses out on the straights. Most of those 600’s aren’t restricted like this is (with a speed limiter) and they have the fairings to help reach that extra speed. If I went out on a 600 SuperSports bike I have no doubt I would lap faster. I am sure the older 675 Daytona probably laps faster for those very reasons.
@@somotorrad5509it is exactly like you say from my experience. I have a Daytona 675 R 2013 track bike, mildly optimized electronics and exhaust and a 765 RS 2024. I would definitely beat my time on the ST with the Daytona, the suspension with the STX damper and the Showa fork is not on par with the TTX and Öhlins fork of the Daytona. Still very good though. 3 weeks ago I have bought another 765 RS which is modified for track only with fairings etc., suspension high end upgrade, Bonamici rear set, steering damper and what not. Still I have to beat the Daytona lap time, I just feel so comfortable on it and it’s more stable in high speed turns, the Streety is a little more flickable, almost nervous, but that will change soon with another triple clamp to adjust some parameters. Fell in love with those triples, obviously 😂
Nice! Having one of these myself, I guarantee, you're having more fun than the guy that went past up the inside at 15:32! Still using the diablo supercorsa's? I've just fitted Continental ContiRace attack2- streets after killing my tyre from 2 track days and 1400 miles. So far, really really impressed with them.
I tried the Metzeler TD slicks for the first time here. Mainly to save money, being able to flip/reverse the rear tyre. Having done that I still went through the wear indicators on the rear in just 2 days. The next day I was at Oulton Park for a Road Bike Only track-day, so I put the original Supercorsa SP’s back on. I did not feel much difference at all. I would have gone through a rear SC in just 2 days as well by the looks of it. Still really happy with both these tyres, no surprises and plenty of grip for this bike. I have just fitted Michelin Road 6’s on the road wheels, to use as ‘intermediates’ and on the road this winter. On road they are great and noticeably more comfortable on this bike, I do rate them as an all weather road tyre. At Brands Hatch in the wet though, the Road 6’s we’re not as great as I had hoped for on track.
Good job. I learned a lot.
Everyone is quick on the strait parts of the track,,,,,, your quick everywhere nice riding bud 🤙
I try, thanks 👍
Looks like a fun bike. Was considering getting one
Nice riding matey
Nice riding, nice video, nice sound and so funny bike it is 😋
This is a really cool POV. Is the GoPro attached to the tank?

What was your best lap time?
Nicely done mate how did this compete with the 600s on track?

Do they allow GoPro attached to helmet? What about chin mount?
No unfortunately, no body worn at all. Only on the bike and it is not allowed to be attached to the tank.
Yes it was a bit tight that pass into Barn, should have been a word in his ear by the marshals, overtaking when tipping in. Close one. Well ridden 👍
