    That tackle by Ben one of the clutchest plays in nfl history.

    • @nahor88
      @nahor88 5 месяцев назад

      I was a teenager and didn't truly appreciate that tackle until years later. All I remembered was how stupidly unlikely a reliable kicker missing that field goal in perfect conditions was. I bet if Vanderjagt kicks that ball ten more times, he makes 10/10.

      @@nahor88 come playoff time, Vanderjagt was reliable to miss. He choked against Miami, he missed a few against the Patriots and Jets in games that mattered. Complete choker, this miss was predictable despite being in a dome. He wasn't even close.

    The Bus fumbled the ball 28 times in 2683 rushing attempts in his career with the Steelers, this corresponds to an average 1 fumble per 95,8 carries.
    Emmitt Smith fumbled the ball 55 times in 4052 attempts by Dallas = 1 fumble per 73,6 carries.
    Barry Sanders had 41 fumbles in 3062 attempts = 1 fumble per 74,6 carries.
    --> The Colts were lucky to even had the chance to kick that FG.

    One of my favorite Football games ever. Really defined a new era of Steelers Football. The Steelers had been conservative offensively for ages and they came out guns blazing against the favored team. I think Heath Miller became a Steeler legend in this game. The era of Big Ben really started on this game. That defense had a couple of horrible calls against them but they were in Manning's face all day. That fumble though.... I'll never forget my Dad yelling at the TV at the top of his lungs. I was trying to calm the troops in our house to stay calm bc things were probably going to OT. if you look at the replay, Ben was initially running to the outside as was Harper, so Harper cut back in just as Ben did in a last second twist. This happens all the time in tight spaces when two people can't decide with direction to walk by a person and they each choose the same path inadvertantly.

      Troy Polamalu had an interception during that drive. Called an interception on the field. Then reversed despite him clearly picking it off. I guess that's not in this video.

    Why do people act as if Roethlisberger made this Herculean unbelievable game saving tackle?? If Harper continues to the outside, he’s gone! But he turns back inside making a b-line towards Ben as if to say “here I am.....Tackle me”!

    Colts came way too overconfident in this game everyone in the world and CBS picked the Colts to dominate and win it all but Varderchoke did his thing as always, the Steelers defense was on fire this game this should of never been close as it was should of been a 21-10 victory especially after that Troy INT but refs did everything to help the Colts come back and they almost succeeded but the Colts had a choke liquored up artist and they gladly cut him and got the most clutch kicker in that time in Vinateri
