    17:00 Haulie going the wrong way hit your "loop around" spot and just bypassed the elevators entirely, which is why it didn't drop anything off.
    So what's next after you're all done? I'm sure you've already started lol

    Been enjoying the series wondering if you'll be doing any videos on optimization/automation tricks learned or to be tested.
    For example, I know you can avoid making double or triple lane "highways" for the haulies by segmenting a long path with crates and loading each short path segment with 1 haulie. I believe the version of this would have an amazingly fast item transport throughput would be repeated segments of 1 large crate, a 2 tile path, and 1 haulie. The large crate for 2 reasons, the first being it moves the items 1 tile further without travel, the second being that it allows a 2nd input from other paths/highways. As all sparks pickup or drop off as they enter a tile, I suspect the haulies looping/spinning around a 2 tile path would transport multiple entire stacks per second so one should ensure only full stacks of items are added to the highway with each drop off feed into the system.
    The big idea then would be to make such a segmented highway as a bunch of loops traveling past all your resources and injecting them into the highway bus to be take out of the bus where desired at any point along the bus with filters coming off the path for the items desired. I think it would be best to have the distance the haulies travel be the same( 2 tiles) whether they go through the filter or avoid it so it would be good to have the filter branch from the path at the output of the bus chest going straight into another chest and replace the input bus chest path with an empty filter so the haulie won't travel through that block if it went down the filtered path. The 2nd input of the bus chest can be to combine buses together. I presume you could have up to 2 filtered outputs and 1 injection points per path segment. With multiple stacks of any/every item able to move through the bus per second it wouldn't take long to get a desired item through the bus to where you wanted to build.
    I hope you give this bus highway a try and see if it is possible, works, and is as fast I figure it should be. As yet I've not seen any play-throughs that have made a multi-item bus line. I do know that just beyond the mountains are flat empty planes( for future updates to use I assume) so prepping such a bus highway now to loop through the forests and mountains should have you well prepared for bringing the tier 1 and 2 materials into the as yet to release tier 3 areas.

    "ive got to clean up my everything!" lol so true, same here. this game really needs a way to remove items, even just a delete from inventory.

      Even if there was a garbage and I had to walk to it to throw things away it would be better than what we currently have of making miscellaneous storages scattered around to hold useless items 🤣
