@akumashitsuji0 hey I dont know if someone has answered you yet about which song this is. This is in the same book as the other Prelude that you're familiar with. the one haji plays here is the 5th prelude. if you want to hear one on YT type in "js bach cello suite 5 prelude" hope it helps ! :D
to akurayou: Uhm, if I remember well, the part of this video at 4:42 is from an episode in which (the young) Haji only started to learn how to play the cello...that is why 'he plays incorrectly' at 4:42, and this is why the angle of the bow is incorrect. (^__^)

it might be because your teacher doesnt think you re ready for this song and doesnt want you to start playing it incorrectly and developing bad habbits. Dont worry though. just keep practicing hard and you will be able to play this piece. All good things take time.

Anyone know whether this version is played in normal tuning? I have been playing it in normal tuning so far, but I'm not sure if it would be more proper to tune the A-string down to G and then lower it all down to baroque tuning. Anyone know?
Dallas ShueyYou're more or less there then tuning I've done when playing this is just tuning the A down to G and that's it when I've looked online for the score and so forth that's the tuning most of them have said to play it in.
In certain more 'western' styles of tuning such as over on the west side of the states professional cellists will use a slightly sharper tuned string to give it a brighter sound. Especially when playing the Bach suites. If you would like a great example look at Mstislav Rostropovich.
