I think the Fever made a mistake releasing Celeste, she would have run the floor well with Caitlin and is a good defender.

Celeste mentioned, "...quickening up my footwork..." as one of the things Phoenix was helping her improve in her game. In my mind, this was Celeste's biggest weakness in her minutes playing with the Fever.
If I were choosing a reason to cut Celeste at the Fever, it would have been because her footwork on defense had been slower than needed. Here footwork didn't meet the hype touted about her defensive skills.
Lots of people online have commented that cutting a "good / great" college defensive player like Celeste from the Fever was a bad decision. I think if she'd had been exhibiting better footwork at the Fever, maybe those viewpoints would hold more merit.
I think that it is great to hear Celeste mention footwork as one of the things WNBA teams are helping her with. If she can move with or in front of her opponents in the WNBA instead of trailing them as much as she did early on, she'll have a real shot to stick in the WNBA.
(I watched this 10 days after it was posted. Taylor is now with the Connecticut Sun. I hope she improves enough with her feet, before decision time, to be kept by the Sun.)
