I love all the colors names. Being a California girl, some of these names bring to mind places and colors of our Pacific coastline. A couple of them also remind me of a colorful vacay on a Hawaiian beach! I have to say that "Twilight surf" is my fave because I love blues and purples, and it really does remind me of a fun night at the beach, watching the waves crash just beyond the shore! And, of course " Heatwave" speaks to me, having experienced many of them throughout my long lifetime in sunny Southern California! 🤗
Really appreciate your honest thoughts about the yarn. Price is a big factor for me when I buy yarn, especially with costs of everything rising. There are cheaper alternatives for basically the same kind of yarn. Liked seeing it worked up so you can see how the colors look. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

I wanted to tell you how grateful I am for all you do. But you did something recently that really has helped me a lot. Last Saturday took a bad fall, I seriously injured myself my left wrist has a broken bone and then the second bone is broken and shattered, my right rotator cuff is damaged so I can not crochet or knit. In redoing your room you added the “This to shall pass” thank you for this sign. I want you to know this was life changing for me. My surgery is next Friday. God Bless you and your family.
Love these colors, and the way they stripe knitting... primarily I'm a knitter. I agree with your comments on the price. I can buy Herrschners stripes yarns, both baby stripes and regular stripes, for less than half the price of Caron Cakes and get the same amount of yarn. I felt your hesitation on final review, but agree it's all about the price. Thanks for also showing yarns in knit and crochet. It is much appreciated by this knitter.
I love nearly all of these colors. They have about the same price but almost 100 fewer yards than the yarn you reviewed in the previous video. I have to say that I do like working with these Caron cakes reviewed in both videos.
Thank you for swatching the yarn. It’s so helpful to see how it crochets and knits up. Crochet stitches colour pool differently than knit stitches so variegated yarns look so different when swatched for both but sometimes it’s hard to picture it. I know it means you can’t gift the yarn after so thank you for sacrificing for us.

I ordered the Tropical Breeze (but I adore rainbows). I love that they seem a lot like Hobbii's horizons but are cheaper. I also love the way you say "wash," because it is exactly how my grandma said it, so every time you do, you remind me of one of my favorite people of all time. Thank you for the review!

I miss when most Caron cakes were only 10$, but with the prices of everything I'm not surprised at the 13$ price tag now. Good thing is Michaels has sales all the time, or a coupon code. I just picked up this yarn in Oyster and Beach Towel, both to make blankets with. Started a blanket today in Oyster, it looks so nice with a rich textured/3d type stitch! Went up a hook to a 6mm and it has a bit more loft than the recommended 5mm. Love this new style of review video!
I looked at them at Michaels yesterday. Pretty yes, but the price stopped me cold. I even had a $5.00 off coupon. Left the store without purchasing. I agree with everything you said. If they were cheaper I would buy them.

Thank you for your totally honest review!! I will have to say I am really not excited about any of the colors....they're ok, but they don't jump out and grab me. And I am not a fan of the price either, though I think everything has gone up quite a bit. I appreciate how you took us through the whole process!!
Thanks for this review of the cinnamon swirl. For price I expect some wool content and/ or a higher grade acrylic. If I want a similar yarn I can buy Herrschners for less than half that price per yard. Thanks for saving my pocketbook. Caron cakes have been really hit or miss lately for me, but I never pay full price for them. BTW, if you can still find them the 1000 yard 6 weight Anniversary cakes are now a more reasonable $20 at my local Michael’s, but still pricey unless you have a special project for them.

Oh man I agree with the price being a bit much. I do love these bright colors, especially the ones with yellows and oranges. I think they would look amazing worked up as mosaic back color with a contrasting color as the patterns.😊 Thanks again for your info!!🤗
