Can I be honest about my favorite part of this video, Crystal? It is watching Rob in the background today! LOL! He looks so cozy with the new set up and fits right into the decor.
Me too. At first I thought there were 2 cats on the seat. Zoomed in to see that Crystal had put a pillow where the cat usually sleeps on the blanket 😊 I also enjoy Crystal’s little quips slip from her mouth while being always gracious. ‘Metal gloves’. Haha😂😂😂😂😂
Outdoor wind spinners would be interesting for people’s campsites or covered porches. The reflective threads may be great for adding a cool spinning pop to the outdoor space.
All I could think of when you mentioned not always getting what you want in a mystery box is that so many of us got 9 balls of scrubby with that Joann Red Heart mystery box. 🤣 I would gladly work with velvet/polyester yarn any day over the scrubby!
I used the starlight to make a hat for an elderly neighbor that walks really early in the mornings. I ended up lining the inside of it so it wouldn't be scratchy for her. Our neighborhood can be kind of dangerous at times so it is good for her to be seen. Other than that, I like your bag idea! I love Shiney and glow in the dark products. Thanks for your reviews! I didn't see those bags Monday but I did see a Lucky Christmas one, but I decided to pay my cc first before adding more to it. 😆 lol
I bought the Starlight yarn at full price last year for Christmas gifts. I made bandanas for all the dogs in my life since they have to be walked on leashes at night due to living in suburban areas. I made hats or scarves for their humans. They were a big hit as the yarn is super reflective. I had no idea Red Heart made a similar product.
Hi 🙂 The Starlight and The Starlight soft is very poplar in Sweden. Its very expenciv even in Sweden. So if I got the same bag I be very happy. The yarn uses to caps, gloves even jumpers. My self makes a lit of "headband". Hope you exuses my english 😇 The other grey soft yarn uses to childens clothes or blankets. Thanks for yours program 🥰 Love from Sweden BABS💜
The starlight soft is cheaper because it’s an acrylic yarn with no wool in it. I’m from Denmark and I have to pay those prices when I buy yarn, so I almost always have to wait until it goes on sale, I’m on a fixed income, so pretty much don’t have a crafting budget. I love watching your unboxing videos, I get to see so much pretty yarn and I’m always so excited when you get a good deal. I think it’s amazing what you do with donating the yarn you don’t use or gift it to your neighbors to help them out. Your giveaways are so generous, but unfortunately I can’t participate for that same reason, it would be way to expensive for me if I won, with the fees and taxes I have to pay. I want to wish you a your family a happy new year, and will be looking forward to seeing more wonderful videos from you. I always mention you when people around me are talking about using RUclips tutorials for crochet. Big hugs Jane
Thanks Crystal for sharing your unboxing of your mystery bags I like seeing your unboxing I am new to buy yarn. I like to see all the beautiful colors of yarn. Have a great day.♥️
I listened to you, glanced at the yarn, but mostly enjoyed Rob’s bathtime. 🤣😍😍😍 Thanks for sparing many of us the tragedy of yarn we wouldn’t use. (I wouldn’t use any of the mystery bag yarn.)
Love your honesty and adventurous spirit! Thanks for trying out these mystery bags so I don’t have to! 😂 … what about a rug? Can’t recall seeing any rug-making videos in your lineup. Some simple oval-shaped thing? The wool content could make a rug more durable, too.
Maybe you could put it on the Addi half the reflective and half an equal weight. For a doubled hat and wear the softer part on your head with the reflective out. 🙂
"One man's throw-outs, are anothers ones Treasures" Macrame, mix with another type of yarn or material, and create a new awesome thing! The unexpected! 😎 kinda like, get lemons, make lemonade! 🤔 Love, Light, and Blessings ❤🙏🙌⚘🌟
I love all of the colors,.especially the sangria cashmere blend. I love working with polyester. I've bought it just once. Tunisian stitching is my favorite way to work with it.
The thick gray yarn is beautiful! I'd be a very happy lady getting those, they make really nice bulky sweaters. The pink and blue however, are wildly overpriced! Don't be too disappointed, they'll make great giveaways!
I love watching you open mystery boxes. You are always a good sport , whether you like it or not . Uffda... not quite lucky Lucky Bags I keep looking at the Dulche Cashmere ... so pretty
I would make a car blanket out of the starlight, mainly because in the Winter you have a sweater, pants, you're pretty much covered. That way the itchy wouldn't really bother you. And you'd have a blanket you could keep in the car in the Winter.
Hi Crystal, I've never brought any scratchy yarns, cause by the time I go to Walmart alot of the yarn is gone. I can't order any mystery bags or boxes, you see I'm a senior citizen and I can only go to the stores here, but what can you make with a scratchy yarn would probably be a rug. I don't know much about the scratchy yarns, but it's nice to learn about all the yarns you talk about which helps me learn more. I thank you for talking about all the different kinds of yarn, teaching all of us how to crochet and the prices of the yarn, plus letting us know if the yarn is soft or scratchy and I thank you for sharing all this information. I like watching your tutorials cause I'm not just learning how to crochet I'm also learning the different kinds of yarns, what the price should be of the yarns. I feeling I'm in a class room learning a new subject every time you share the mystery bags or 📦. Thank you for sharing this tutorial take care of yourself and your family bye til next mystery boxes or bags.
Oh my goodness Crystal, you had me laughing with having to wear metal gloves when crocheting with the scratchy yarn. Some of the other comments are hysterical. Thank you for being so honest.
That may be the same hat I'm adoring, in a different color. I'm still looking for it and trying to recognize it on your MANY MANY generous tutorials!!! I found the hat: Easy Crochet Beanie For Beginners AND Scarf SET Tutorial!! YAY! Great video! love, hugs, prayers.
I love the hobbii starlight wool - I've made outdoor gear like scarves out of it because it shines in artificial light like car headlights. It's great for dog walkers, cyclists etc in winter - they have started selling starlight soft which feels scratchy in the ball but not when it's crocheted up.
Crystal I love watching your videos, you are so much fun and your reactions are so cute. I like what you get in your mystery boxes more than in mine. I love those blue and fuchsia yarns, I'd use them to make a bag or a basket. Basket may be better since it's so scratchy.
Make clothes for the dogs with the reflex yarn. Bags of grannysquares wold be cool to. With the soft yarn I wold have done a blanket for a child. Love you , Hugs from Sweden.
I would use that scratchy wool yarn to make reflective tubes for my car. Well they would be tubes once I sew them onto the roof rack. It makes it easier to find my silver Ford Escape in parking lots. 🙂
Hello Crystal, I think that Beautiful Blue that sparkling yarn could make a great Beret if you ĺiñe thè inside of the hat around the brim. You çoulđ also make a beautiful Jumper. It would be necessary to wear a slip or tights underneath to avoid the itchiness. The Gray yarn would be good for a inside the car blanket. I grew up wearing wool skirts to school with slips or thick tights. It might also make a beautiful dog sweater. Just a thought. Hugs, Renae
I would make a rug out of that scratchy wool lol. Or adding lining to it for any type of wearable. Thank you for sharing your orders! 💖 Those red(pink) and purple (Scarlett plum), that color #4 and that color sangria, are gorgeous! 😍 it makes me sad for you that you got all the same yarn again lol. But your positivity is everything! Don't forget the metal gloves when you decide on something to make with that scratchy yarn 🤣🤣😁😁💖
Hi Crystal like your new place, I have not been on here for a while its so good to see you again, like to say A Happy Blessed Healthy New Year To You and Family!!! Enjoy Rob he looks so cosy, over there, like the last yard you show us color's are very pretty, Thank you for sharing hugs Liz x
for the scratchy reflective yarn, how about leg-warmers? the kind that go outside the trousers and over the shoes. it's nice for cars to be able to see the movements of the pedestrians' legs in the dark 😊
Hi Crystal. I love your unboxing and I have to say that your voice said something but your face said something very different. I’m so thankful for your honesty. I would not spend on those Mistery bags. Thank you so much.
You could make pom-poms for childrens‘ hats with the reflective yarn. Poms can also be attached to carabiners and clipped onto school bags. Also works for adults. ❤
I have never had good luck with mystery bags from the big companies. It always seems to be yarn they can’t sell. That medal glove comment cracked me up! Thanks for the laugh!
Crystal , It was a good video to show an unboxing from Hobbii . I liked the grey blanket yarn . I think they would make some great pillow covers . I think making baskets with the scratchy yarn . Your cats or dog will leave the baskets alone . Love and Hugs .
That shine yarn would make a nice striped C2C throw or tartan throw using all three colours. Would be great for the car in case you breakdown… you would be warm AND reflective when changing a tyre! Hopefully it would soften with washing.
oh I love that soft gray bunny yarn its so fun to knit fast baby blankets with : ) I have always wanted to try that starlight yarn now I know why one is labeled soft, thank you for this review.
You had me laughing out loud 🤣 I made our daughter a trick-or-treat bag with redheart reflective yarn. I wouldn't want to wear it. Thanks for the laughs and really good time 🧶💚
Hello Crystal 😊the blue sparkly yarn is pretty, but I wouldn’t want to crochet with it. The grey yarn from the oops bag is not a favorite of mine. I enjoy seeing Rob on his chair just chillin.
So glad I didn't fold and get those bags. But i3 do love the polyester too make horseshoes with. Everybody loved them for Christmas. Do warm and soft. I would like the shine if it was soft but can't do the scratchy. Thanks as always.
Can I be honest about my favorite part of this video, Crystal? It is watching Rob in the background today! LOL! He looks so cozy with the new set up and fits right into the decor.
I was thinking the same thing 😊
Me too. At first I thought there were 2 cats on the seat. Zoomed in to see that Crystal had put a pillow where the cat usually sleeps on the blanket 😊 I also enjoy Crystal’s little quips slip from her mouth while being always gracious. ‘Metal gloves’. Haha😂😂😂😂😂

Great idea!
This is a really good idea
That is a great idea!!!
Love this!
All I could think of when you mentioned not always getting what you want in a mystery box is that so many of us got 9 balls of scrubby with that Joann Red Heart mystery box. 🤣 I would gladly work with velvet/polyester yarn any day over the scrubby!
Every time I buy Red Heart online I always seem to get scratchy skeins! It's really put me off the brand.,
I used the starlight to make a hat for an elderly neighbor that walks really early in the mornings. I ended up lining the inside of it so it wouldn't be scratchy for her. I love Rob having his afternoon bath in the background lol. Seeing Rob in the last few vids has given me so much joy!! Your animals are awesome.
I love that we get to see Rob in the background on the chair sometimes.
That reflective yarn could make pretty Christmas decorations. I made a beenie garland.
I love that you get the yarn ,so I know what to expect ,even when I can not afford hobbii ,love their cotton cakes
A kid's backpack would be good in the reflective yarn. Great for waiting for the school bus on dark mornings.
Hi 🙂

Yah!!! Afternoon Crystal!
Love your new room. The chair is adorable and he cabinet is beautiful!
Looks like Rob has laid claims to the chair. Lol. Perfect!
I am so happy I saw this I had both bags in my cart.

Oh, Crystal, you are too funny. Thank you for making me laugh. Your honesty is refreshing. Have a great day.
Hi Crystal it great to see you with your lucky bags
I love your background. Especially the cute fur baby on the couch.
I like the gray yarn in the first 2 bags.
You could make a vest to be worn over your winter coat to wear when out walking, biking or shoveling your sidewalk in the winter months.
Thanks Crystal for sharing your unboxing of your mystery bags I like seeing your unboxing I am new to buy yarn. I like to see all the beautiful colors of yarn. Have a great day.♥️
Thanks for the giggles Crystal! 🥰Blessings from South Australia💕🐨
I love that hat u have on crystal 😊
I listened to you, glanced at the yarn, but mostly enjoyed Rob’s bathtime. 🤣😍😍😍 Thanks for sparing many of us the tragedy of yarn we wouldn’t use. (I wouldn’t use any of the mystery bag yarn.)
I would happily buy the happy bunny squishy yarn from you, that’s my favorite type of yarn to use.
Love the kitty on the couch! Oh well, whoopsi-doo!
I love your tutorials and the kitty on the sofa your house is gorgeous
Love your honesty and adventurous spirit! Thanks for trying out these mystery bags so I don’t have to! 😂

Hi Crystal. Love watvhing you unbox yarn. Thanks for sharing.
Love you opening the mystery bags!

That honey bunny will make a beautiful throw using the alpine stitch.
I love how your room is shaping up.
Thanks for opening those mystery bags for us!
I love watching you open mystery boxes. You are always a good sport , whether you like it or not .
Uffda... not quite lucky Lucky Bags
I keep looking at the Dulche Cashmere ... so pretty
Honey Bunny is chenille mostly used for baby blankets. Rough yarns are best for socks.
I use my jacobs x merino rams hanch wool for socks, so long wearing and fairly soft, but super warm : )
Happy new year everyone
I love watching your videos...especially, your unbagging/unboxing videos! I am just as excited when I get an order in the mail of yarn! 😂
Me too, beginning to be addicted to mystery bags lol
Hi Crystal. Watching some vids I actually haven't seen lol. Love seeing Rob in the background.
Just a few ideas while I watched this; animal toys, baskets, and doormats. Love your content 😁
I would make a car blanket out of the starlight, mainly because in the Winter you have a sweater, pants, you're pretty much covered. That way the itchy wouldn't really bother you. And you'd have a blanket you could keep in the car in the Winter.
You are so funny about the scratchy…. I would use that grey to make baby blankets. Thank you for all the things I learn about yarns now.
I love your unboxing and your tutorials! The unboxings are exciting !!! Your new room is great. Love your kitty in the back on the chair

The velvet yarn is perfect for stuffed bunnies for Easter. I have a neighbor on nextdoor that sells crocheted bunnies every Easter for $50 a rabbit
I really like that gray #6 yarn.
The room is looking great! I love the hat you're wearing in this video!!
Thank you!!
Crystal I love watching your videos, you are so much fun and your reactions are so cute. I like what you get in your mystery boxes more than in mine. I love those blue and fuchsia yarns, I'd use them to make a bag or a basket. Basket may be better since it's so scratchy.

When you said to the point of sandpaper I laughed so hard I teared up 😂🤣 thanks for the review 😮
Make clothes for the dogs with the reflex yarn. Bags of grannysquares wold be cool to. With the soft yarn I wold have done a blanket for a child. Love you , Hugs from Sweden.
The gray plush yarn would make a cute elephant stuffy. The starlight yarn would make cute bags. Water bottle holders or yoga mat bag. A cute belt.
Thank you for sharing your Hobbii mystery bags.
Hi Crystal! So glad you bought these! I saw them and was so tempted! I definitely would have been dissatisfied had I gotten these!!
I think the reflective yarn would be great for a vest for anyone who walks or runs in the dark!
Very nice mystery bag unbagging. LOL. Take care.
I would use that scratchy wool yarn to make reflective tubes for my car. Well they would be tubes once I sew them onto the roof rack. It makes it easier to find my silver Ford Escape in parking lots. 🙂
Pretty kitty in the background.

I've never seen it before, so I can't comment. ..have a great day 😀
Lolol! I enjoy you, Crystal!! Thank you for buying the mystery bags so we don’t have to!😂
lol
I would make a bag out of that reflective yarn.
Crystal, your face is priceless!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I like your hat and enjoy watching.
That shine yarn would make a nice striped C2C throw or tartan throw using all three colours.
Would be great for the car in case you breakdown… you would be warm AND reflective when changing a tyre!
Hopefully it would soften with washing.
Thank you for sharing in details.... good luck for new projects 👍
Thanks Crystal always informative
oh I love that soft gray bunny yarn its so fun to knit fast baby blankets with : ) I have always wanted to try that starlight yarn now I know why one is labeled soft, thank you for this review.
They are made from different fibres - one is wool, and one is acrylic (which is also why the price is different 🙂)
You had me laughing out loud 🤣
I made our daughter a trick-or-treat bag with redheart reflective yarn. I wouldn't want to wear it. Thanks for the laughs and really good time 🧶💚
You could make a dog coat for walks at night. Lol. Thank you Crystal for sharing your finds.
Thank you for sharing. I like the Cashmere yarn it's very pretty
Hello Crystal 😊the blue sparkly yarn is pretty, but I wouldn’t want to crochet with it. The grey yarn from the oops bag is not a favorite of mine. I enjoy seeing Rob on his chair just chillin.
I love hunny bunny plush yarn for toys. I will need to buy one of those lucky bags
So glad I didn't fold and get those bags. But i3 do love the polyester too make horseshoes with. Everybody loved them for Christmas. Do warm and soft. I would like the shine if it was soft but can't do the scratchy. Thanks as always.
Number 4 would make a beautiful top
The scratchy reflective would make great madame plant pot holders. The cakes are pretty though
I’ve learned so much from you in the past few weeks. As far as the whoops bulky yarn, I have made mats for guide dogs.
Love the Universal lace weight with sparkle by Hobbii.
