Okay friends! This is your best one yet, for me, anyway! Easy to see and something I can keep coming back to whenever I have time to practice, practice practice! Thanks so much!
Thank you! This is the first video I've watched where I could actually see what you were trying to demonstrate! Personally, I think teaching a first time quilting class should be completed in different white tones from beginning to end. Obviously, for teaching purposes only. Still allow the students to choose their colors. But, even an advanced level quilt appears easier to accomplish and less overwhelming.
Thank you so much! You gave me the will to start practising again. I think I got directed to a too difficult design for beginners but now I can see what I need to do! Many thanks from a very warm New Zealand
What’s wonderful quilter you are you are amazing. I love everything you do but I know quilting by machine I will never be able to do unless it is with a walking foot. My only eye that I have left can not follow it. I also can not see anything when the material is dark.a. Grateful I still can use the sewing machine!Thank you very much for all your wonderful tutorials.Happy quilting,Yoka Bazilewich.
Hi - first and most importantly, get a large extension table or better yet, get a sewing table where your machine can sink in. Second, start drawing and doodling as much as possible. The more you draw your hands and mind will start to get comfortable. And lastly, just do it - no more practice, just make quilts and start quilting. I guarantee you, your 2nd quilt will be better than your first 😄
Hi. I generally do but it really depends on the color I'm using. If it's a really dark or light then for sure. If it's not that high of s contrast it will use a neutral thread. Hope that helps.
yes something we all can return to often and your demo is perfect!

That design is NICE! Looks almost like Cathedral Windows, my current project. Super tutorial. Thanks!

Thanks Yoka!
Love it❤️
Really helpful to see how it's done. My problem is doing it on a large quilt. How do you manage all that fabric and still get a smooth curve?

Nancy, when you change color of your thread do you change your bobbin thread color as well?
