How can we as a community help you best? Purchase clocks, spread the word, crowdfund?
I see your tubes/clocks as a lifetime investment. It might be good to consider partnering with manufacturers of similar high end equipment. Tubes could be a key differentiator between them and the competition.

Looking forward to whatever you come up with. Is there any commercial future for the H-tube, given how much work it is to build?
I wonder what a single digit H-tube clock would look like (and cost...), but I should probably just keep looking at the blub (and maybe try not to drool too much while doing so). I don't even dare to dream about a 6-digit H-tube clock.

Excellent! I keep my fingers crossed for success in the production of new nixies. A smaller nixie would be perfect for my project, so you already have a client :)

Given the proposed shape of the tube, might be a good idea to see if it's feasible to have the glass tube's first stage made on a CNC variation of the glass lathe. I know, an odd idea, but mass production and low cost does imply some automation. Just a thought.

Great idea!... I always wondered to build a nixie clock since I followed your first video, but stopped by the price and availability.... (I also wanted a self synchronised clock, for example on DCF77 or GPS...)

Just a question, is it possible to make several Nixie indicators(4 - 6) in one tube like IV18 VFD?
Yes, and this has been done in the past with Pandicon tubes, which could have over 12 digits I believe
@@apo_chromatic thanks, don't know about Pandicon. I like the idea of having all digits in one tube but do not like the colour of IV18.
@@Alchemist7887 they definitely do look nice, but good luck finding one that isn’t $400. Look into panaplex displays if you just want the orange neon color, they’re way cheaper and easier to find.

It would be great if you can bring the price down, as I'd love to be able to make a clock with your tubs.
But it's just a pipe dream with your current tubes, so I live in hope that you can get the production in the 10k's.
