I have slept on this when visiting friends in Kanazawa many years ago. It was very comfortable, I am Scottish, but now in my final years I live in Argentina with my Argentinian wife. A little more explanation regarding the materials would have been nice. Blessings,❤❤❤❤
I had a futon bed and mattress. Mine was definately not like these light fluffy things. Mine was a King Size and very thick. It was so heavy that it took 4 adult men to lift it and then it was still a strain. It was that heavy. It was supposed to be rolled every morning to keep the inner "soft". This was impossible to do due to weight and inflexibility. There was nothing soft about it. I was told that it had layers of cotton inside but it definately felt as if it was solidly packed with just raw cotton. It was hard as a damn rock and I had many years a very bad back problems. I only realised how bad that Futon was after I bought a regular bed and mattress. To this day, I do not know what type of Futon it was. The base was a wonderfullu constructed rollable slat thing. It was given to me. It was apparently bought overseas and shipped here by someone in the airline industry. What a horror. Regards from South Africa

Nothing could compare to a truly ‘handmade’ futon. These are nice, mass produced, and a good alternative. But not the same as truly handmade.

日本式の掛け布団と敷布団です。掛け布団は夏用と冬用で厚みが違いますが、どちらもフカフカで包まれると心地よいです。
