First time I watched your video and I learned lot of things about my One Plus 11 when it comes to photography...Your right One Plus has always been here and I was there in early days buying OP phones and going to launches in NYC...Thing is I didn't leave One Plus but more like they left me after the OP 7 came out but this OP 11 brought me back and I hope they continue on this path in America...I like the recent aggressive marketing OP is doing to compete with Samsung and Apple and give us more choice in Mobile phones...👍

It is too cool.OnePlus is probably the easiest log to work with. However, vivo and Xiaomi also support log footage natively. Kobra, you can use programs like www.mcpro24fps.com/. A lot of smartphone movie creators use this so that they can use the phones that they want.
Great vid Barry. Loved seeing the shots of the eyesore building. Been wanting to go to that area to grab pics as well. Currently testing s23u but I do have my eye out on the OnePlus 11. Huge fan of where it's heading.
One sneaky thing one plus always does is that they are always using the older E4 oled display that is both dimmer and more energy hungry than the newer E6 panel that most of the flagships are using
I don't think OnePlus is being sneaky whatsoever. It allows them a much lower price point. It's a great panel. I probably enjoyed my 10 Pro screen more than any phone that I had last year which has the same panel as the 11. The 11 has insane battery life. I have seen the media mention the E4 panel at nauseum. One thing I never hear them say is one sneaky thing that Samsung does is that they never give you 2K panels on the S2X and S2X Plus. Meanwhile, I my inefficient 2K display 11 gets outstanding battery life. It's funny they always leave that part out too.
@@BarryJohnson Its sneaky in the way that its not really mentioned like the other things they are getting rid off to push the price down. Yes oneplus 11 has a big battery and a very effecient snapdragon 8 gen 2 but im saying if it had the e6 panel the battery would be even better.
I guess we will have to agree to disagree. The 10 Pro had the same E4 display. The 11 replaces the Pro as they are dropping the Pro from the lineup. It uses the same E4 display so I don't consider it a downgrade.

What panel was better than the current E4 panel I am typing on? (The same one was used in your 9 Pro.) I guess I really don't understand what your concern is. The E4 panel is outstanding and Samsung does a great job at increasing peak (not sustained) brightness and efficiency every E panel release. Does the 11 have an E4 display? Yes. Could the battery life of the 11, which is better than the much improved S23 Ultra, be even better? Yes. This phone is $699 and doesn't have a 1080P display like the S23 Plus. Did OnePlus save money on the display? Yes. But I won't pretend that the E4 wasn't the best display panel at that time. The 9 Pro dropped in March of 2021. The iQOO 8 Pro dropped in August of 2021 with the E5 Panel. Like I said we will have to agree to disagree here.

This was my first android since my S21. I love this phone but I feel like because they are not as big or something cause apps are just buggy. RUclips crashed, messages, and just a few bugs. But besides from that it is a beautiful phone. I am very happy with it.
Wow, I am not having any of those issues. I actually have the 10 Pro as well. I traded in my 8. Can you describe the RUclips issues that you are experiencing?
@@BarryJohnson the app will stutter when scrolling, random black screen with a ptp window that is stuck, and will just freeze up when leaving a comment. One the OnePlus reddit I have talked to others who are having these issues. Most of them we're on 11s.
Brian, no it's dual sim/dual stand by so it doesn't have two radios. You can receive calls on both. If you are a call on one sim the other will go to voicemail.
On a side on Barry, would recommend the 10pro over the 11? For the 256 gb version i can get the 10 pro for 630 and the 11 for 850. I'm leaning towards the 10pro. Would like your feedback to see if there's a big enough difference to justify the extra 220$
Are the cameras slightly improved? Yes, but you lose 4K 120. The 11 has dual sim. If these aren't important I can't recommend the 10 Pro enough. I love the 11 but didn't trade in my 10 Pro to get it.

OnePlus doesn't really have an official schedule in place. They typically release fast early on. This is because it drops in China first and they send out updates to improve the cameras. By the time it arrives over here it's typically once a month until the camera seems to meet all of the OnePlus metrics. My experience j tyhat they have been consistent with updates even after the initial period.

@@cmgeorgekutty I saw that thread. My video consumption is 75% RUclips then other services compete for 25%. I have always said this. If you have issues a reddit thread is not going to help you when you can just contact your manufacturers and get it resolved. I know a ton of reviewers with this phone and we watch a ton of RUclips. We have zero issues.
It is odd, it seems like IP rating, wireless charging, video out and 4K120 was all taken away to remove the Pro moniker. Video out and 4K120 should have zero impact on money savings. This is strange.
I just wish OnePlus would put more effort into the telephoto lenses! You would think that Samsung has proven that Huawei’s dual telephoto setup allows for both a close range telephoto for portrait shots while still allowing a much longer range telephoto for things like moon shots! And I know moon shots are not for everyone but there are nights especially in the summer and autumn months when the moon is just so bright and beautiful that it’s just incredible to pull a phone out of your pocket and get a clear detailed picture 🤩
I hear you Joshua.its apparent that OnePlus decided to use this 2X for portrait photography of human subjects.its a 50mm equivalent to full frame and it does excellent in that role. However, the public is definitely asking for a zoom. I think we will see all OEM'S focus on what the public wants in the next few years. At least I hope.
