Editor's Note: My edits were all made to keep the video on one, central topic by editing together relevant commentary from many parts of Hasan's streams to create a storyline that is still followable by the viewer. I also edited in commentary of my own in places, in addition to relevant external information that improves the viewing experience. A lot of edits were made for comedy purposes, or to enhance the comedic timing of certain beats, but never to misrepresent Hasan's point of view.

Sure we were taught about slavery and the holocaust, but I had to take a class specifically on WWII to learn about the internment camps. We were taught about things like Washington's wooden teeth. As for Ford, we learned that he invented the assembly line, that's it.

13:15 there is a mistake here on both his perspective and the fact that maybe Hasan doesn't understand this.
Farmers work exactly those hours even here in USA... imagine in the brazilian jungle. YOU HAVE to rest the noon hours off. As a farmer you have to be up around 4 am to beat the sun and work a good 4 hours and stop. You can pick it up again after but usually some farmers are done. Again this is also what is done in USA and any other country. Henry Ford basically approached the whole concept with a flawed perspective. Literally he was out of his league/lane. He didn't realize what he was doing honestly.

It’s quite interesting what different countries learn. Here in Denmark, I learned all about many different religions and cultures in different countries. I also learned a lot about philosophy and how it shaped our outlook on science, and the way it put our future on a different path. We also learned about many different revolutions that happened in foreign countries.
In that sense, I can understand why something like Ford would be a topic in education, as it seems from all of you Americans, that it had a big impact on your industry and future living conditions. I guess the difference for us would be that we instead learn about the industrial revolution as a whole, and how many different companies changed history. We watched documentaries about the invention of guns, cars, ability to record and transmit sound, and so much more. How all these things shaped their future, that is now our present. We never learned about the companies in detail, but instead the things that they happened to create, invent or change.
I am curious as to whether this is also akin to what you guys learn in school, or if they teach mostly about the big companies and such.
I hope I didn’t come off as offensive, I’m genuinely just curious lol

In good and bad ways, its not surprising the northern European and American financial/business interests have clashed with local ones. Even today I think economic development is a controversial topic in these nations and having productive discourse is necessary, not everybody can be Costa Rica, or the United States, but in leaning towards a less growth, sustainable model, that prioritizes compromise between government revenues and private businesses while regulating emissions and impact strategy could be ideal. Social services don’t need to be to American standards but just having enough can provide peace of mind and quality of life benefits.
