You've floored us again, Pete. Excellent video, love that opening track!!! And we gotta say THANKS to all the people leaving the positive words in the Comments section. It's clear that many of the musicians who follow Pete and his channel are great lovers of classic gear, but are still excited to explore new and different sounds. Rock on, PT!
I'm sure he help sell the multi wave distortion! He definitely has made me decide! Haha I was hoping to have a pedalboard friendly size! Thank you all for amazing sounds you guys come up with :) Question: does this have all the parameters/sounds from the multi wave pro distortion??
In a parallel universe, where music is still valued in society. PT is a rock star millionaire going down in history with the other great guitar heroes of the past.
I am finishing an all Midi board today. 4 Source Audio pedals, including this one, plus a SA Dual Expression pedal and then their Neuro Hub. Really cool components. Editor is great.
The classic distorted guitar sounds are great, of course, but there is so much room in the world for less common distortions. If David Bowie were still with us, and if he were to hire me to play guitar for him, I'd be sure to have this pedal on my board.
This the most inspiring demo and sounds that I've heard from anyone in a very long time. You have an amazing sense of your craft and skills!!! This video should go viral ...
Another pedal I would end up spending six months trying to explore all of its cool features. It's still great fun to watch Pete geek out over functions, tones, and tweakability.
Very few pedals break new ground. This one does. That's an amazing achievement! I'm not a pedal guy any more (except the HX Stomp) - I mostly just come here for the playing. But this is a really, really cool pedal.
This is one of those pedals where I love the demo, love the sounds and I'd buy it only to find that I don't actually have a use for it with my own music. I've done that about 20 times, and I finally learned my lesson. But I do love this demo!
You can do so much with this, that I doubt you wouldn’t have a use for it. Noise gate, distortion, EQ, tremolo, ring modulation, dual compressor, LFOs, etc. It’s an absolute Swiss Army Knife of a pedal, and it has something on it for everyone, regardless of their preferences or tastes. The editor allows for so much tweaking thar anyone can make something they’d like. It’s so much that no video can actually show all of the possibilities with it. I’ve never gotten a Source Audio pedal that wasn’t outstanding.
The pedal is dead cool. Most pedals that do crazy stuff these days are all a spinoff of reverb and delays that are literally toys. You can not have a riff or melodic idea and play it or you have notes turn to mud or simply not trigger before you are on to the following note. This is something other pedal are not ...it is USABLE! Thanx for the demo!
Pete, your enthusiasm about this pedal has just infected me. It sounds so amazing that I’m buying one today. I think this would fit in so nicely with cinematic backgrounds and prog metal guitars.
I read somewhere that there is a dynamic expander option in the compressor section. I want to see if it can be used to make it behave more like being plugged straight into a touch sensitive tube amp
Excellent sounding pedal with plenty of FX very versatile and creative machine and at great price, I thought it would be more expensive with the amount of stuff it can do. Thanks Pete another great demo, cheers
Honestly I'd he released a little compilation of all these intros, I would defo listen to it. Great melodies pete. Merry Christmas from a fellow Van Halen fan ❤️
At 47 seconds in love that hole step bend with ring finger then use the pinky for the added Semi tone great overall playing loved that hole 5 seconds or so of bends though man love ur playing
You could make up a lot of metal-masquerading-as-great-synthpop music with that thing! Oh.. ..wait...! You're a riff/style-meister dude, I really enjoy what you do! Cool pedal, great demo, thanks.

I literally just stopped for food from an experimental recording session. This would plug straight into it. Brillant Stuff ☺
Super impressed!

Aw, thanks Lex!!!! :)
yea in a universe where the internet has not made music free for all.
Source Audio is a fantastic company. Interesting, high-test pedals and beyond-awesome customer service.
Little bit of Supermassive Black Hole in that one. Nice!

That piece sounds better than a lot of intros to Netflix series we like! Real gold, Pete
That is the pedal I've been waiting for - I want one!!!
This is one of greatest pedals ever made!
I still have my original Multi Wave Distortion. Killer gated octave distortion on that bad boy
This the most inspiring demo and sounds that I've heard from anyone in a very long time. You have an amazing sense of your craft and skills!!! This video should go viral ...
Hey thanks David!
Damn! Another killer demo. Absolutely love the stuff you write Pete.
Thanks John!

Killer player. Killer pedal!
This looks awesome. Original and useful...
Very cool and different sounding pedal, but it doesn't hurt if you're a guitar god. Thanks Pete!

Pete Thorne is a blessing ! Thank you Pete, you are a guru.
You rock Pete! Thanks for giving me the rundown on this.

Props to Pete Wearing an Austin-Guitar T Shirt.
great shop!
That sound! It's an experience, an eargasm, an explosion of tone! Dayum, man! Awesome as always, Pete!
Wow! Inspiring pedal, song, and playing. I think that will be my next pedal...
Very similar to a sound affect on Korg Toneworks... (90s little box)
Very Muse inspired tones. Love it!
sounds like something that an industrial band woulda loved.

I have all 3 versions of this. Sound blocks yo!
Nice 🤘🏽…. Which version do you prefer?
That 4 bar loop at the beginning was killer man.
Oh! If I had a project, the $ and wanted the best, I’d get you to work with. You gotta know who has the magic. Pete has it ! ! ! Bam!!!!
Excellent sounding pedal with plenty of FX very versatile and creative machine and at great price, I thought it would be more expensive with the amount of stuff it can do. Thanks Pete another great demo, cheers
Ah shit, got me more GAS now... Love your work Pete! ❤️
You said you could use it just as a compressor, and it looks like you could use it just as a EQ ? How about compressor + EQ ?
Great demo pete, super unique pedal a deffo studio must.
Pete great vid.... it reminds me of the Fuzzfactory Doug Pettibone played on Righteously/Lucinda Williams. Huge wild distortion.
This is the kind of pedal where I feel like it's just loaded with possibilities I will never bother to figure out.
that pedal holder man!!
Thats a weird looking Precision Drive.
Dang Pete, you are ridiculously awesome!
Thanks for watching Darrell!
Honestly I'd he released a little compilation of all these intros, I would defo listen to it. Great melodies pete. Merry Christmas from a fellow Van Halen fan ❤️
Nice to meet you!I'm from Japan!I watched the video!I will be registering for the channel, and we are distributing a variety of cat videos!
How do you do the 4 bar loop thing at the beginning? I have this pedal and live it!
Reminded me ATCWR, awesome.
Dang it Pete! Here I go again to Sweetwater got to have it. Do you hear that Source Audio.👍🍻🤘
Yes, I hear you!! :) Thanks!
At 47 seconds in love that hole step bend with ring finger then use the pinky for the added Semi tone great overall playing loved that hole 5 seconds or so of bends though man love ur playing
The Luke lick! I’m sure someone did it before Lukather but that’s where I know it from.
You could make up a lot of metal-masquerading-as-great-synthpop music with that thing! Oh.. ..wait...!
You're a riff/style-meister dude, I really enjoy what you do! Cool pedal, great demo, thanks.
Getting down to the Henley of the matter, son.
Wow Pete that track was killer
Thanks!
Paging Matthew Bellamy!
Inspiring demo!
You almost like too good to be true. Great pedal thanks for the video.
Reminds me of the Boss Tera Echo
Autobots . . . TRANSFORM!!!
I want this!
Some of it reminded me of Devo
*Rabea has entered the chat*
Awesome demo Killer pedal. So many tones and effects. Did you use the pedal on the bass? Amazing playing. Cheers Thank Pete
do you still play with the classic rock show band? i got to have this pedal.
Ultra Wave isn´t the wright name! Pandoras box of unlimeted possebilities would be wright! This "pedal" is awsome!
Can you change the Q on the bands?
Sounds awesome...is it practical for live use?
Sure!
Sounds a lot like a Moog Midi Murf
Sure my Boss ME8 from the early 90's sounded like this! 🤔
Intro sounds like Transformers sound fx
unique new york
Sounds like a Fender Blender...
I loved the fender Blender!
@@PeteThorn I bought one in 1972..equivalent to about $400.00 in today's money.
Cant watch because of RUclips premiere. Don’t use that garbage
