Very nice I just traded my 2024 tacoma TRD off-road for a 2024 tacoma trail hunter it just seems to be a lot more solid then my trd off-road it's just a lot better 🎉🎉🎉
Traded in my 2018 Tacoma on a 2024 Tacoma OR with upgraded package. No regrets. Much better truck as compared to my 3rd Gen. Love it. Plus, only financed $31,000 out the door on it. I had extra cash and my 2018 Tacoma was paid off.
I just picked up a 24 base offroad 4x4 for less then that. Dealers are discounting these trucks not like years past. I negotiated 3100 off without really trying and getting other dealers involved.
Jeff, do the color-matching fender flares of the SR5 and the TRD Sport match seamlessly with the TRD Offroad? I’m not a fan of the TRDOR’s flat black contrasting fender flares, but it is the more appealing version of this truck for me. I’d be looking to get color-matched flares from a different trim level and swap them out if that’s possible.
When I bought my new 1991 Access Cab 4X4 before it became the Tacoma it had a 4 cylinder. I couldn't afford the six cylinder. 30 years later Toyota only builds 4 cylinders with a lot more HP and better MPG!!.
The current 2.4L they are using now has been in many Toyota platforms for years including Lexus. In addition, the turbo used in the 2024 and up models have a commercial turbo with larger coolant lines to meet the demands of the truck.
Cool video. Thanks. Can you make a comparison between a sr5 with upgraded and cold weather upgrade package vs the tacoma sport with premium package. I wonder which one would be best for the price paid. Thanks
That's also my opinion 👍,but every time I state how I feel about it on you tube channels about the 2024 Tacoma being so much better than the old 3rd Gen. I get peoples pantys in a wad!
Out of 270,000 Tacomas made in 2024, only 9000 trucks were affected by the TSB. My 2024 Tacoma OR was in the TSB, but no issues. Tranny is spot-on. Internet keyboard warriors threw so much BS out there like all the transmissions were failing and falling apart. Engine problems? My 2024 Tacoma has no engine problems, and no recalls listed with my vin numbers.
Toyota dealerships are becoming Tacoma parking lots. That was never a problem before. Seems like Toyota's going to have to adjust their prices. Maybe even financing rates! Possibly give customers a 5 year 100,000 mile warranty. This issue isn't just a problem for Toyota, but for all of the automakers across the board. IMHO, people aren't buying price gouging as inflation.....
Everyone hammers and whines about the turbos on engines. There are tons of Chevy turbo diesels out there with 300,000 miles on them. I work with people that drive work beater cars, and they have OEM turbos with over 150,000 miles on them and zero issues. On a side note, many people I work with drive Toyotas and Chevys of various models, and they do their own oil changes every 10,000 miles per recommendation of the manufacturer. These vehicles have zero issues with oil consumption, no sludge development, and over 150,000 miles to boot. What oils do they use? Castrol Edge, Valvoline advanced synthetic, and Mobil 1.

Based on what?
Did they over estimate? The Tacoma was the best selling mid size truck again
Have they fixed the transmission issues
I hope part of the standard equipment is tow hooks front and back. You'll need them.
I bought my 23 TRD Off Road 4X4 with a sticker price of $42,917.00 glad I did. Prices sure did bump up a lot.

I’m sure it’s a great midsize truck but they are just too expensive! I think the value midsize truck out right now is the Frontier.
They slap that TOYOGUARD on everything there.
$40k+ for a 4x2 and manual front seats. Might as well go with the TRD Sport 4x4 and bigger screen.
The 4x4 is slower, handles worse, tows less, uses more fuel, more maintenance, etc.
