It’s my birthday today and I usually try and get a spa service done so I spend the day thinking how lucky I am to be alive and well, instead of getting a year older. It really works! When I travelled to Thailand I fell in love with lemongrass. The hotel we stayed at smelled so fresh and beautiful and it was that scent. I bought a bunch of products there from the Harnn line. The only thing I have left is the oriental herbs body oil spray and it takes me back every time.
If I want to mentally transport myself to a Spa, I use Rituals...this brand is amazing, there is no product that I don't like from their range...You look gorgeous, Chris and I totally loved and enjoyed this video, and also the music was great!!! I am sending you a big hug and some sunshine from Transilvania! Oh, and a slice of freshly baked apple pie, with vanilla ice cream on top and a hint of cinnamon :)))
And why WOULDN’T you pay $200 to have someone ding chimes around your face?! 😂 That made me laugh. I love spraying spa scents on my pillow before bed. One of my favorite perfumes for this purpose is The Bleu from Bvlgari. I also use fragrances from The Nue Co. to scent my office (I’m a psychotherapist and use fragrance to create a calming space). My clients particularly like Forest Lungs.
Lol! Yes well that Santa Fe for you and it was probably closer to 300$ which would do anything but make me feel relaxed. I’d be stressed the entire time making sure I get every last minute. 😂

Karma is the most addictive, seductive fragrance I have ever worn! I have to be careful though because it lasts all day and seems to project everywhere on me. I ran out but I think I will order more. I just love eucalyptus. There is a spa in my area in BC Canada called Spa Utopia that is famous for their eucalyptus steam room. Such a treat ❤and so soothing and relaxing.
I use a lot of essential oils and my favorites are ginger, peppermint and cardamon. I add them to the fragrance free castille soap or body wash. My signature scent for awhile was Ginger Essence by Origins. Their ginger scented personal care products give you that spa experience. I need to make an order!
Oh my goodness.. of all places I have been. and you mention it.. I was at that same spa in Santa Fe and it was lovely and very memorable . I just got Herba Fresca this past month and I have been using it so far while doing yoga and it is great. How you describe Eau Dynamisante by Clarins is exactly my experience. I went to a spa that was converted from a monestary that was around for ages here in Spain. The spa (and hotel) smelt like this and I bought Eau Dynamisante while I was there to take home with me. I don't still own it but it sure reminds me of an established spa in Europe... so right!! Love your descriptions ❤

I visited Bali, which is the spa capital of the world IMO lol… 8hr AMAZING spa day for $100 US. I kept asking the lady to repeat the price because I couldn’t believe it 😂!!

I messed up on the “wing” on my right eye (eyeliner) and took me 20 minutes to fix . 😂Omg!! 🤦♀️I’m not sure ppl could tolerate my yammering. 😂😂But you are sweet to say that! Omg! I was in Sante Fe this past fall and I almost went to Ten Thousand Waves for dinner but we didn’t have time ;( it looks so beautiful. I mean everything in Santa Fe is beautiful tbh. I am dying to get back there and check the place out as well as the city in general. Such an interesting destination.
Beauty Pie Soul Providers line is beautiful. So uplifting with grapefruit, lemongrass etc and definitely on a par with spa products. They're available in the UK and US 😊
Happy birthday my fellow Pisces gal! I have never been to a spa, believe it or not. I do own Clarins Eau Dynamisante though and would agree it's smells spa like. I am not too fond of heavy mint in fragrances but I do love ginger and so I would say Origins Ginger Souffle or whatever it's called is a favorite body lotion. Do you remember that Lancome light fragrance called Tonic or something in the light green bottle? I used to wear that a lot and loved it but it's long gone. Goodness it was so good. There is also one near my house when I feel like getting a country feel like type of environment🤩🤩. I also have a lady who comes to my house and she turns the guest room into a spa like heaven😍😍. I don’t have specific spa like fragrances but I always go for something very light and airy😉😉. Awesome video as always👌👌. Stay gorgeous🥰🥰.

Happy Birthday, Chris! I hope you had a beautiful day. Just want to let you know that I have a fragrance also from Clarins which, to me, inspires that spa feeling. It's called Eau Resourcante (the letter "c" in the name is a soft "c" which has a little squiggle thingy under it, so it's pronounced like the letter "s") and comes in a blue bottle vs the red bottle that you have. I believe it may be discontinued though. I made sure to purchase 3 bottles at once just so that I could have enough until I could find a suitable replacement for when I run out. It's a spring/summer fragrance. Whenever I wear it, it makes me feel light, as in carefree and happy to be alive. It's very refreshing especially on a hot, humid, NY summer day. It's light but has pretty good longevity. It stays with me for about 4 to 5 hours considering that I'm not an oversprayer at all...one spritz on each wrist and on either side of my neck just behind the ears.

My "spa products" consisted of using ck One and Acqua di Gio during the hot, humid summers. I recently saw both of these on sale and, in a fit of nostalgia, had to have them. Who knows how many times they've been reformulated since then. But it will be interesting to see if they at least correspond to my sense memories.

I fell in love with the signature scent at the Coeur d’ Alene Resort Spa called Spruce and Cedar. It is STUNNING. I always pick up their body oil and lotion when I’m there. I also first found out about Le Labo many years ago while staying at the Fairmont Princess Resort in Scottsdale, they use Rose 31 as their signature scent. Lastly, I first fell in love with Santal 33 bc it literally smells exactly like a Spa/Resort in Mexico we stayed at many years ago. You have a great list! I can’t wait to check some of these out!

Oh goodness, I'm going to have to check some of these out, especially Diurno sounds really nice. And I love their bottles. I have had the great fortune to try out different spas (not for several years though 😭) while I was on deployment in south east Asia and the middle east, and they were AMAZING experiences! Though one scent memory I had was while I was stationed in San Diego, and I did hot yoga for a bit, and at the end one of the instructors used a eucalyptus oil of some sort on the back of my neck and OMG was it fantastic. I want to find a fragrance that will bring me back to that moment. You are beautiful today, and happy birthday!

Hi Chris, I love all of these types of scents too. Mint, balsam, woods and bergamot are some of my favourites. I use products from a local small company called Rocky Mountain Soap Company. They use a lot of natural essential oils in their products. They have a regular line, there are things they bring out seasonally that can change and they have a new more expensive line of products they recently introduced. They give me spa vibes. I agree with you that the natural essential oils have long gone from the aromatherapy line of Bath and Body works products they smell very chemical now. The Aqua Allegoria line of fragrances from Guerlain gives me spa vibes for sure. I love them for a quick mood lift or for hot weather days. I am going to check out some of the fragrances you have suggested that I haven't smelled yet. I bet they will be excellent options. Have a super day! 💛~ Jenn

It's worth the splurge for the smell... spearmint, cardamom and wild blackcurrant 💚 The 10,000 waves things sound great, I love pine and hinoki. Lush Karma is a classic. I love Aveda too, I use Blue Malva and their Cherry Almond 💙 Edit: also on your previous video I shared about Dancing Light which has pine in... well it also has mint! Another one in this catergory I love is L'Eau par Kenzo pour femme, and oldie but a goodie 💚

Happy Birthday! I have been looking for a fragrance that is like the smell of real pinon and juniper in the sun around the area of Santa Fe! One time I went hiking in Bandalier and I remember just loving the smell of the the sun baking pine and juniper, and I have never found that exact smell! I'll have to try the Hinoki products! I also love the smell of mint. I am also interested in Milano Fragranze, but the only one I have is Basilica, which is quite herbal and could also be spa-like. I also love Daesin Winter.

@@ThePerfumeNest I really like their Ritual of Jing line, used to be called Ritual of Dao and they changed it, it is divided in two: stress release and sleep. Their foam wash is incredible and their candles are, too. I think I've tried almost all of them and I have never been disappointed with any of their self care/bath/candles &/splash products. I know they have expanded the line and they carry perfumes, but those I haven't tried yet.

I just looked through my collection, and a couple to look at for the spa experience are: Maison Francis Kurkdjian 724, The Harmonist Yin Transformation both the EDP Nd EDT smell like Nivea, and Le Labo The Matcha 26.
I love 724. Love it. I think Yin is the only one of the Harmonist I haven’t tried because it wasn’t in my discovery set. Same with The Matcha. I’ve got some work to do! 😂
I hope it was a very happy birthday! I've been waiting on this video from you. As someone sensitive to fragrance, but still a lover of fragrance, it can be hard to find ones that work for me. Happy birthday my fellow Pisces gal! I have never been to a spa, believe it or not. I do own Clarins Eau Dynamisante though and would agree it's smells spa like. I am not too fond of heavy mint in fragrances but I do love ginger and so I would say Origins Ginger Souffle or whatever it's called is a favorite body lotion. Do you remember that Lancome light fragrance called Tonic or something in the light green bottle? I used to wear that a lot and loved it but it's long gone. Goodness it was so good. Just want to let you know that I have a fragrance also from Clarins which, to me, inspires that spa feeling. It's called Eau Resourcante (the letter "c" in the name is a soft "c" which has a little squiggle thingy under it, so it's pronounced like the letter "s") and comes in a blue bottle vs the red bottle that you have. I believe it may be discontinued though. I made sure to purchase 3 bottles at once just so that I could have enough until I could find a suitable replacement for when I run out. It's a spring/summer fragrance. Whenever I wear it, it makes me feel light, as in carefree and happy to be alive. It's very refreshing especially on a hot, humid, NY summer day. It's light but has pretty good longevity. It stays with me for about 4 to 5 hours considering that I'm not an oversprayer at all...one spritz on each wrist and on either side of my neck just behind the ears.

My "spa products" consisted of using ck One and Acqua di Gio during the hot, humid summers. I recently saw both of these on sale and, in a fit of nostalgia, had to have them. Who knows how many times they've been reformulated since then. But it will be interesting to see if they at least correspond to my sense memories.

I fell in love with the signature scent at the Coeur d’ Alene Resort Spa called Spruce and Cedar. It is STUNNING. I always pick up their body oil and lotion when I’m there. I also first found out about Le Labo many years ago while staying at the Fairmont Princess Resort in Scottsdale, they use Rose 31 as their signature scent. Lastly, I first fell in love with Santal 33 bc it literally smells exactly like a Spa/Resort in Mexico we stayed at many years ago. You have a great list! I can’t wait to check some of these out!

Oh goodness, I'm going to have to check some of these out, especially Diurno sounds really nice. And I love their bottles. I have had the great fortune to try out different spas (not for several years though 😭) while I was on deployment in south east Asia and the middle east, and they were AMAZING experiences! Though one scent memory I had was while I was stationed in San Diego, and I did hot yoga for a bit, and at the end one of the instructors used a eucalyptus oil of some sort on the back of my neck and OMG was it fantastic. I want to find a fragrance that will bring me back to that moment. You are beautiful today, and happy birthday!

I love all of these types of scents too. Mint, balsam, woods and bergamot are some of my favourites.
I use products from a local small company called Rocky Mountain Soap Company. They use a lot of natural essential oils in their products. They have a regular line, there are things they bring out seasonally that can change and they have a new more expensive line of products they recently introduced. They give me spa vibes.
I agree with you that the natural essential oils have long gone from the aromatherapy line of Bath and Body works products they smell very chemical now.
The Aqua Allegoria line of fragrances from Guerlain gives me spa vibes for sure. I love them for a quick mood lift or for hot weather days.
I am going to check out some of the fragrances you have suggested that I haven't smelled yet. I bet they will be excellent options.

I have been looking for a fragrance that is like the smell of real pinon and juniper in the sun around the area of Santa Fe! One time I went hiking in Bandalier and I remember just loving the smell of the the sun baking pine and juniper, and I have never found that exact smell! I'll have to try the Hinoki products! I also love the smell of mint. I am also interested in Milano Fragranze, but the only one I have is Basilica, which is quite herbal and could also be spa-like. I also love Daesin Winter.

@@ThePerfumeNest I really like their Ritual of Jing line, used to be called Ritual of Dao and they changed it, it is divided in two: stress release and sleep. Their foam wash is incredible and their candles are, too. I think I've tried almost all of them and I have never been disappointed with any of their self care/bath/candles &/splash products. I know they have expanded the line and they carry perfumes, but those I haven't tried yet.

Have you tried Penhaligon's Savoy Steam? Left to my own devices, I would call it a ginger rose--but looking at the notes list, I'm surprised that there's no ginger listed. It kind of reminds me of Origins Ginger Essence--but fancier.

I just looked through my collection, and a couple to look at for the spa experience are: Maison Francis Kurkdjian 724, The Harmonist Yin Transformation both the EDP Nd EDT smell like Nivea, and Le Labo The Matcha 26.
I love 724. Love it. I think Yin is the only one of the Harmonist I haven’t tried because it wasn’t in my discovery set. Same with The Matcha. I’ve got some work to do! 😂
I hope it was a very happy birthday! I've been waiting on this video from you. As someone sensitive to fragrance, but still a lover of fragrance, it can be hard to find ones that work for me. Usually spa-like fits the bill. I still feel refreshed and luxurious, but without the headache. I've been diffusing the relaxation room set from saje, and it's been so relaxing

So they are very different. Dirty Hinoki has a smokiness to it. 10,000 waves Hinoki is very fresh …no smokiness.
