At first I thought you said “I can go every 45 days without washing my hair” and I was like DAYUMMMM GURLLL WHATS YOUR SECRET POWER, TELL ME, OMG YEASSSS!!! 😂😂😂 then I realized you said 4 TO 5 days 😂 but still it was super funny 😂
Thank you for this! I have oily roots and within a day, day and 1/2, i have greasy looking roots but the rest of my hair is fine! I will try this! Love your videos!
Just a tip! I wash my hair twice with a clarifying shampoo on the days I wash, blow dry my hair right away & apply dry shampoo at the end. That is how I keep my hair from becoming an oily mess day after day. Prep is key to keeping hair looking fresh in-between washes.
Lol I wash mine once a week.....ONCE A WEEK!! I hear people tell me how gross it is all the time. Doesn’t bother me one bit 🤩 I love these kinds of videos. 👍🏼
Honey on average the majority of women wash once a week. Today that doesn’t exceed what we call normal. Two hundred years ago women washed their hair once a month. It’s not gross or dangerous in any way. Today some women over-wash, process and use four hundred degrees of heat, which damages it badly. Over-washing clears away too much of our natural oils, causing dryness and irritation to the scalp. Just my two cents. Lol
I’ve been watching you for a few years and this is the healthiest/sleekest your hair has looked (it’s always looked great but now it’s even better!). Gorgeous! Thanks for the tips!
I’ve actually been using rose 🌹water as a dry shampoo and a toner for my face it helps make ur hair soft and clean and fresh I know I guys are thinking it’s wet well it actually dries up the oil and smells amazing
I love your videos. My scalp starts itching at about 36 hrs, so I wash my hair every day or 2 and people always tell me it's bad to shampoo everyday. I just think we should all shampoo as often as we want and quit hating. If you want to wash twice a day, great! If you want to wash once every ten days, great! Anyway, awesome video, as always 😊💕
Try the one by „Langhaar Mädchen“ available at dm. I love it and it doesn’t leave any residue. It’s literally invisible no matter how much you need individually. Shake it, spray it directly in the roots, massage it into the scalp a little and you’re ready to go.
MC 84 Highly recommend! I bought one after watching her review video. I’ve never been coordinated enough to blow dry with a brush and regular dryer. It’s a lifesaver. I do a pass with the cool setting and can actually achieve shiny hair.
I bought it after her review and it’s as good as she says! I use it to refresh my hair after the gym and go 2-3 days between washes. That hair dryer is seriously amazing.
Hi. I bought that same hair dryer based on your review and I gotta say I absolutely love it. I have fine thin hair and the volume i get from it is amazing.
Yesterday I was looking for some tutorials for short hair because I just cut mine few weeks ago after wearing long hair for my whole life and I really couldn't find a way to style them. And then I found you! 😂 Your videos are super easy and you explain everything in a very simple way. So you have a new follower 😂 Great job!
I make my own dry shampoo. Mixing arrowroot flour and corn starch or baking soda. Works great and it’s cheap. The original recipe is on Wellness Mama’s Website 😊
I've made that too. I like the idea of a squeezy bottle to apply it, than my old technique of using a fat make up brush to dust it into my parting and around my face.
I use arrow root, baby powder, a dash of cornstarch and then let that sit and I start mixing my essential oils. My favorite mixture is eucalyptus with mint or pine. Yes I know that's normally super "manly", but I love it!!
I try to wash my little tiny bit of very fine hair once a week since I discovered dry shampoo - a true life changer. Before I was washing my hair every day and being always frustrated how flat, dry and miserable it looked. Dry shampoo really adds tons of volume. I do however rinse my hair every time I shower and just use conditioner half of the time. Thanks for the video!
I have pretty much the exact same hair type as you and your videos have been so helpful. I bought the blowdryer a couple days after your review and it has been pretty much the only styling tool I've used since then. I love it!
I saw your review on that hair dryer and I made my husband go out and buy me one the very next day! I LOVE it. I haven't used my normal hair dryer since. I cannot get over the way it makes my straight hair silky and soft! Plus, I don't feel like I have a lot of fall out with my hair. Sounds a little crazy but that's what I've noticed.
You have changed my hair life!! I switched to better quality shampoo & conditioner, and I can get away with washing my hair less frequently. I think I had a huge amount of buildup from cheaper products (wax?) And my hair felt disgusting if I skipped a day. I'm slowly investing in better products & it's going to be so worth it! Thank you!! ❤❤
When you shower, and it's not a wash day, do you still get your hair wet and just don't use soap or keep it dry and only wet the days you wash? My hair is also fine and thin and it gets greasy so quick, I would love to try washing less and see if I can improve my volume and hair health 😊
This tutorial was AMAZING! I have hair very similar in cut, style, and probably texture as your hair. It's fine, gets greasy relatively soon, but I don't want to wash it every day. I have been using dry shampoo, but about the third or fourth day, my hair is just full of product and gross. This morning, after working out, I followed your tutorial exactly, with the exception of adding some beachy waves after working in dry shampoo, and my hair feels so much better. Not greasy, not full of product, not gross, but looks great. Thank you!!
Love this video. I have dry thick hair and i wash mine every 4 days. My hair hardly ever gets oily. Can you do a video on the best affordable hair care products like shampoo and conditioner?
I’ve just been reading the comments and I swear people do not listen to you. You must get so frustrated when writing back Milana. Your videos are the best on you tube. Always excited when you pop up in my subs box. I would love to have your hair talent. Take care x
This is not gross this is actually quite a helpful video. I would have never thought of blow drying my greasy hair but I might now. Also I can only wash mine every day (sometimes it can stretch to 2) or else it gets greasier than hers did on the 4th day lol And yes I have tried leaving my hair alone and not washing it for the most of summer which didn't do anything good for my hair
I got this hairbrush hairdryer after her review and I LOVE IT for my thin hair. I recommend being careful with the high heat setting, I don't ever use high anymore now that I've learned it's too hot for me, but low works well. It is a bit big too, but I don't care I love it!
I have wicked thick curly hair, and have been "blessed" with the oily hair and skin genes. For me personally I've noticed that my hair looks cleaner longer with the shampoo and conditioner bars vs what I've used that is indeed bottled. Plus it's been nice not having to worry about another product that I am allergic to. I wash my hair every 3 to 5 days, and will use a small amount of baby powder in between as needed. Again due to allergies and no longer getting a lovely discount from working right next to Lush, that made all the difference!
I try not to go to work with 3 day hair, but sometimes I must. My teenage students think it's hilarious that I can grab the front of my hair, pull it straight up, and it stays that way!! Lol. Day 3 has had a lot of product. I'll leave it that way a few minutes until some little 13-year-old girl comes up to me and says, "You can't be doing that to us. That's just not right. We can't concentrate, Mrs. Summitt." While she's smoothing it down. I just feign heartbreak, laugh and say, "Thank you."
Love that hair dryer, I ordered it with in 5 min of your review, It is by far the best blow dryer I have ever owned, and sense I’m 50 that’s a lot of blow dryers... lol, and I do not wash my hair daily, I’d say about every 3rd day. Thank you so much for all the research you put into all your videos. 💞
I love your hair hack and tip videos. What do ask for in hairdressers when you get your hair cut ? Love the style. What are your top dry shampoos? I can go 3 days maximum before my hair gets so greasy 😢 love from Ireland 💕
I have seen such an improvement in my hair ever since I switched to salon shampoos and conditioners, I now wash my hair every 3-5 days. I also purchased the Briogeo hair Mask and the leave in conditioner.
Is there anything you would recommend for dandruff in this situation? Day 2 comes with grease for me and day 3 comes with dandruff. Also have you ever thought of doing a review for Mixnature products? I'd love to see it!
I love the blow dryer you are using in this video. I bought it based on your recommendation and I love it. I have thick hair and it works amazing. Thank you.
since i don't dry my hair all days i had it better and soft, i clean it with shampoo 4 days and 3 without and only dry shampoo, all because i had balayage in purple and the treatment made my hair so delicate and thin, i love this video because I'm new whit dry shampoos for the textur that leaves but now days i use one very good.
I have the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer & Volumizer and love it for my gray hair. Really helps with the frizzies. I also do the dry shampoo on the third day. Love your videos.....
Milana, THIS is the most real video I’ve seen in a while! 😱👍 Such great tips, thank you and great video! I am immediately adding this blow dryer to my shopping cart. 🙃
I wash every other day. Sometimes I go 3 days but only of I'm not leaving the house Maybe I need a better dry shampoo. My hair is extremely thick and most dry shampoos add volume and texture and then my hair just looks wild and I cant tame it.
For some people, it’s healthier to not wash your hair daily. Less harsh in your hair. I go about 4-5 days also, and the health of my hair improved so much.
Hi Milana! I was wondering do you reapply heat protectant when you blow dry your hair this way or does it last from when you put it in after you wash your hair? I am looking for a heat protectant that I can apply to dry hair that maybe has some hold for my fine flat hair.
I'm on day two and I've just had to bun mine because it's gone all icky, so this is the absolute perfect timing! Thank you! Edit: I just realised that our hair is the same ĺength and is growing at the same pace! (We've had the same length hair for ages now!)
The haters are just jealous of your perfect hair! Because of your tips, I actually cut all of mine off and am starting fresh, using better products and actually using HEAT PROTECTANT! :)
I have the same issue with them giving me that waxy texture that i cant even comb and it feels like its damaging and ripping out my fur when i try style it.. Horrible. I gave up on dry shampoo and just wash my hair to save myself the trouble 😐😐😐
After you reviewed that hairdryer/brush I bought it...LoVe IT! I also have thin and fine oily hair and it works so well. Thank you for sharing this info. Why dont you apply your dry shampoo with a large makeup brush? It minimizes the amount of mess you make and gets the product right where you need it.
I have a nasty cowlick in the back of my crown - I’ve also heard it referred to as a back part. I have struggled with this my whole adult life - it’s so embarrassing. Seems no matter what I try, after styling I use a mirror to look at the back and it’s still there! Do you have any tips on how to manage hair that splits like this? Thanks so much.
How did you go from washing your hair every day to every 4-5 day? I have to wash them every single day. I tried to wash my hair every second day but they always were so greasy after the night... And can I also use this technique when I did not make any sport? Thank for your videos. They so helpful and useful. 👍💖
Love watching your videos. I have such a problem with frizz control when I let my hair air dry. Do you have a good product or brand recommendation? Bumble and Bumble vs Living Proof vs Briogeo, etc etc? Can you do a product showdown or comparison? Always trust your opinion!
I have the exact same type of hair as you so this is really helpful. Just curious what do you do different to refresh your hair if you don’t go to the gym that day ?
I'm eager to find out what your new product is! ;) I normally don't like the sprinkle on kind either. (I'm old). That's what we had in the 70's. BUT...I have similar hair to yours. Mine, of course isn't as great as yours but it's fine, silky and thin. I have the same problem with the sprays making my hair almost impossible to handle afterward due to the texture issues. Thanks for another great video.
After I saw your video about the Revlon® Oval One-Step Hair Dryer & Volumizing Styler hairdryer I had to buy it. I completely love it. 😍😍😍 thank you for all your great tips. 😘😘😘
Thank you for this video. Everything that you have suggested that I went ahead and bought have never disappointed me. That green natural shampoo has been the best one so far though! My scalp was so itchy before and I couldn’t make it two days without washing my hair. After using that shampoo no joke I can go almost a week with no problem.
I am going to ask friends and family to get me that Revlon Brush-Dryer for my birthday next month. Wow. It looked 80% better and you hadn’t even applied the powder yet.
I add a tablespoon of salt into my shampoo when I open a new bottle and give it a good shake. That is the only way I can wear it for a week. It helps me so much to not dry out my scalp.
I have very dry, natural white hair... I only wash my hair once a week, it’s too dry to wash more often. But after about 5 days my hair starts to look dull, so I use dry shampoo and it brightens the hair right up.
Ok, for real, this is amazing. Usually I can get 2-3 days out of my wash without it being nasty, and then by day 3 it is looking like it needs to be washed. BUT, I did this, I have the dryer (thanks Goodwill $8 find) I do dry shampoo, but I feel like it is just yucky feeling. So I dampened my roots dried it and then did the dry shampoo and woo hoo, I got three MORE days out of my wash without it looking or feeling gross.
Hi I wonder how you keep clean your hair tools, can you do a video about it? I have a Revlon Hair brush but i dont like to use it on dirty hair. Milabu
When do was a teen we used Psssst. Dry shampoo can you do a review on the 1970 and I can remember using it and listening to my Led Zeplin albums. Really bummed when it disappeared for 40 years. Why can't you tell a quick reason why you think it did. I am 58 and live your channel. Get all tge products!!! Thanks.
so as I see it, my hair will pretty much get damaged anyway, whether it's because I wash it everyday, or because I use heat and products on it frequently....
R+Co have a powder formula similar to Briogeo but it says in the instructions online not to put it on the scalp, just apply it to the hair. Confusing because I assume the oil is on the scalp. I do like the R+Co Badlands dry shampoo paste if I go three days (my max) without washing my hair and I want to tie it up. It gives good grip and volume to the hair.
I love watching your channel and all the things you do. I have been testing out some different dry shampoos and extending the time between hair washes because of you and a few others. I was wondering what day hair is it in this video?
Great tips!!! What about creating a day by day video? Day 1 to day 4 or 5 of not washing your hair and how your routine or products might change as it goes along???
I could try this. My scalp is super oily so if I wanted to, I could go every other day in washing my hair. My problem is finding a dry shampoo that matches my hair color (naturally black). I use Batiste but I'm also incorporating using a boar bristle brush to distribute the oils from my scalp to the rest of my hair.
Quick question, was your hair damp from the shower after the gym and that’s why you were drying it? Just wondering. Great tips tho, I’m finding my hairs greasy on day 2 now it’s shorter, particularly at the back so I’m washing it more than when it was long as I have no idea what to do with my hair now it’s shorter to hide any greasy spots xx
I need that hairdryer brush but I haven't found anywhere that will ship to Aus yet :( also, im sure you've told us before, but whats your natural hair like - curly, wavy, straight?
*watches on the second day of hair*
the problems of having greasy af hair.
0:25 i thought she said 45 days not 4-5 days 😂😱
HAHHAHA
Me 2
I thought she said that too!!!!!! I was thinking gross.......but ok. That's ok. 4 to 5 days....
Samee :D
zahra bhally same 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I've cut out daily hair washing and now only wash 2-3 times per week and my hair has never been happier!
Thanks for the awesome tips!
It really does wonders!
My hairdresser says the longer you can go between washings, the better. I only wash mine 2x a week. Thanks for the dry shampoo tips Milana.
Thank you love!
Tiffany Browder me too, 1 x a week. Works for me! 😊 to hell with the haters.
I wash mine every other day , my hair gets greasy fast 😞
Honey on average the majority of women wash once a week. Today that doesn’t exceed what we call normal. Two hundred years ago women washed their hair once a month. It’s not gross or dangerous in any way. Today some women over-wash, process and use four hundred degrees of heat, which damages it badly. Over-washing clears away too much of our natural oils, causing dryness and irritation to the scalp. Just my two cents. Lol
I'm jealous
they’ll lose their hair in no time if they keep washing it.
I wash my hair once a week. and my hair is similar to yours. Yes, Less shampooing is a lot better
I’ve been watching you for a few years and this is the healthiest/sleekest your hair has looked (it’s always looked great but now it’s even better!). Gorgeous! Thanks for the tips!
I also go about 4-5 days between washing. My hair looks so much more healthy, thick and full since I stopped washing it everyday.
I’ve actually been using rose 🌹water as a dry shampoo and a toner for my face it helps make ur hair soft and clean and fresh I know I guys are thinking it’s wet well it actually dries up the oil and smells amazing
Rimsha Khalid oil and water don’t like each other (put oil in water and you’ll see what I mean) so I don’t see how the water is absorbing it
I love your videos.
My hair NEVER looks that clean after i used dry Shampoo. I think the dry Shampoo formulas in germany are just shitty
Solina587 Same in Italy 😧
Solina587 mine either my hair gets super only after one day of not shampooing
Solina587 I also use baby powder.
Solina587 same here in the us! i was trying so many brands in germany and here in the US now and they're all about the same ( or it's me) 😂
Try the one by „Langhaar Mädchen“ available at dm. I love it and it doesn’t leave any residue. It’s literally invisible no matter how much you need individually. Shake it, spray it directly in the roots, massage it into the scalp a little and you’re ready to go.
Need that hairdryer
MC 84 Highly recommend! I bought one after watching her review video. I’ve never been coordinated enough to blow dry with a brush and regular dryer. It’s a lifesaver. I do a pass with the cool setting and can actually achieve shiny hair.
Me too! I’ve watched her review on it and I’m sold!
I bought it after her review and it’s as good as she says! I use it to refresh my hair after the gym and go 2-3 days between washes. That hair dryer is seriously amazing.
If only it wasn't so expensive!
Hi. I bought that same hair dryer based on your review and I gotta say I absolutely love it. I have fine thin hair and the volume i get from it is amazing.
Aww so glad you love it!
I'm so happy to see you growing your hair longer. Change is great and it definitely looks good on you!
You'll have to tell us which dry shampoo that is when you can.
Omg your blow drying technique makes so much sense and it looks so good!! Definitely gonna try this xx
it's incredible!

Hahha same here! I feel bad for neglecting my hair dryer 🤣
Not me! nope nope nope. lol
Pls is this hairdryer so Hot? I read that even the lowest heat setting is still very hot. Pls what do you think?
I just saw the review the other day, already on my Christmas list to my husband!!
You have changed my hair life!! I switched to better quality shampoo & conditioner, and I can get away with washing my hair less frequently. I think I had a huge amount of buildup from cheaper products (wax?) And my hair felt disgusting if I skipped a day.

Whilst I love this as a solution - it would have been quicker for me to have washed my hair than to follow all these steps...
I love the blow dryer you are using in this video. I bought it based on your recommendation and I love it. I have thick hair and it works amazing. Thank you.
Your hair is so pretty!! How do you keep your ends so hydrated? Do you trim often?
How damaging this kind of blow dryer is to the hair?
Thanks for recommending it. I went out and bought it when I saw your last video and I was impressed. I love this tool. Thanks for the tips.
since i don't dry my hair all days i had it better and soft, i clean it with shampoo 4 days and 3 without and only dry shampoo, all because i had balayage in purple and the treatment made my hair so delicate and thin, i love this video because I'm new whit dry shampoos for the textur that leaves but now days i use one very good.
I have the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer & Volumizer and love it for my gray hair. Really helps with the frizzies. I also do the dry shampoo on the third day. Love your videos.....
That dry shampoo formula is actually great for travelling, thank you!
Very helpful, I struggle with this. Is there no need to do a heat protectant before the blow dryer?
Milana, THIS is the most real video I’ve seen in a while! 😱👍 Such great tips, thank you and great video! I am immediately adding this blow dryer to my shopping cart. 🙃
I wash every other day. Sometimes I go 3 days but only of I'm not leaving the house

Hi Milana! I was wondering do you reapply heat protectant when you blow dry your hair this way or does it last from when you put it in after you wash your hair? I am looking for a heat protectant that I can apply to dry hair that maybe has some hold for my fine flat hair.
u r the best hair make up guru , thanks for teaching us ur techniques
I'm on day two and I've just had to bun mine because it's gone all icky, so this is the absolute perfect timing! Thank you!

I have the same issue with them giving me that waxy texture that i cant even comb and it feels like its damaging and ripping out my fur when i try style it..
Horrible. I gave up on dry shampoo and just wash my hair to save myself the trouble 😐😐😐
Thank you for being honest and transparent, you keep it real! Thank you soooooo much for this great hair tip! 💕
😻😻 أعجبني ذلك جداً وانا مسرورة لاني اخيراً وجدت الحل لشعري .شكراً لك من القلب
I usually wash 2-3 times per week. Every 3rd day i guess.I like Batiste ( floral and tropical scents)and Klorane dry shampoo.

Milabu saving my life, yet again
I'm eager to find out what your new product is! ;) I normally don't like the sprinkle on kind either. (I'm old). That's what we had in the 70's. BUT...I have similar hair to yours. Mine, of course isn't as great as yours but it's fine, silky and thin. I have the same problem with the sprays making my hair almost impossible to handle afterward due to the texture issues. Thanks for another great video.
You are my go to person for all things hair, love your videos!
You are so talented at hair! Love watching your videos xx
Thank you so much!! You're always so sweet and kind
This was super helpful!! Love you Milana!💖
Love you too!

Thanks.
Do u think that hair dryer would work on long hair? It looks amazing. Thoughts on if it would get tangled on long hair?
when are we getting a haircare video?
When will you do a review on the new dry shampoo you're testing out?? I'm in desperate need of a good one 😔
so as I see it, my hair will pretty much get damaged anyway, whether it's because I wash it everyday, or because I use heat and products on it frequently....
Do you have a dry shampoo review video? Or not, could you make one? 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I was looking for this! Thank you. I didn’t know what to do with my gym hair and I didn’t want to wash daily!
I agree.. the Revlon hairbrush hairdryer is AWESOME!
Thank you!!! I wash mine every 2 days after growing it out I had to wash everyday so this is super helpful!!
I love watching your channel and all the things you do. I have been testing out some different dry shampoos and extending the time between hair washes because of you and a few others. I was wondering what day hair is it in this video?
I got one of these after watching your review and it is the best thing I ever bought! Love it! 😍
Great tips!!! What about creating a day by day video? Day 1 to day 4 or 5 of not washing your hair and how your routine or products might change as it goes along???
I was in definite need of a video like this! I feel like we have very similar hair so this should definitely work :D Thank you!!
Yay!!! You're welcome love
So I have fine hair also and currently wash mine every other day cause of how oily it gets. How did you train yours to go 4 to 5 days between washes.
Yes, the revlon dryer brush,,,,amazing x10, so in love
So even though you don’t wash your hair. You still get It wet when you shower or do you keep It dry and put it in a cap or something while you shower?
On days you don't wash your hair, do you let it get wet in the shower?
So when you mean damp do you mean oily? Or do you rinse your hair?
I need that hairdryer brush but I haven't found anywhere that will ship to Aus yet :(
also, im sure you've told us before, but whats your natural hair like - curly, wavy, straight?
Did you spray your hair with water before you blow dried it?
Did you dampen the roots before you blow dried or did you go straight into blow drying? X
