Great review, tons of useful information. You explain sizing, give proper context (that you're 5'6"), address pricing, fit, and how to wear it, as well as its temperature-ratings. I can't stand reviews where the reviewer babbles uselessly about nonsense, doesn't say how tall they are and says vague crap like the fit is loose or tight but doesn't say what size they bought, and seem to be allergic to using numbers. Thanks for not wasting our time, but also showing your personality and charm!
WOW. Crazy how the price shot up. It was under $1,000 when I bought mine. I wore it multiple times last week because the temperature dropped below 32 degrees 🥶
just wanted to say ive been watching luxury videos for so years at this point and im so glad i found your channel bc now you are my favorite creator! so down to earth and ur vids are so thorough ! :)
Nice video, but i would have liked to see you add the part where you use the toggle to close in in the fur by the chest area. Alot of people are not even aware of the toggle and the fact of the fur being designed to double as a scarf when needed in cold weather
My girl is 5’6”, 34-36 DD, around 155lbs. Website keeps pushing me to get a Medium but the small looks so nice on you and I’d say you’re more athletic. Do you ever wish you’d gotten a medium or should I opt for the small?!
Sometimes I regret not getting a Medium on days I want to wear a thicker sweater. But I prefer to wear a thinner shirt underneath. It’s a very warm jacket when zipped up. Getting a small means that is she gains 5-10 lbs, the jacket will struggle to zip. So it depends on her weight fluctuations.
Mackage is notorious for being a size smaller than your usual. I'm a small all across the board but had to go with a medium for Mackage. I'm glad I did because it allows for thicker sweaters or sweatshirts.
Thanks for the informative videos! Did you have to fluff out the fur on your Trish? How do you keep it looking so fluffy? I just bought the Trish but one section is a bit pressed down, possibly from the way it was stored, so debating if I should exchange in store.
The fur occasionally does get smushed. It’s hair so I just spray it with a tiny bit of water and use my fingers to fluff it out. If it’s still flat when it dries, you may want to take it in store and exchange for one that has fur to your liking.
This is such a helpful and informative review! I just ordered mine yesterday, and I’m excited to add it to my collection for the chilly northern Wisconsin winters. Thank you for taking the time to make this! 💕
You said the difference between the trish and kay besides hardware is the fur lined hood? The kay also has a fur lined hood so can you be more specific? Besides the hardware and type of fur the only difference I noticed was in the hood it seems the trish has a zipper going down it and kay does not? Whats the zipper for and is it felt on the inside?
The Kay only has fur along the signature collar . The Trish has fur along the signature collar, inside the hood and on the outer bib. It's hard to see in the photos but in person the Trish has almost double the fur. If you unzip the hood zipper on the Trish and remove the toggle, it allows you to wear the fur hood flattened down the back like a shawl. I did a Google image search for the Mackage Trish and saw a few images that show the back of hood unzipped. Truthfully, I never wear my hood unzipped, but it's a nice option for those that use it. The current Trish is rated for -30°C and has a smoother appearance, the Kay is rated for -25°C. Also, the Trish is a tad bit longer 40" vs 36" for the Kay. This Trish has a few more premium touches that make it a tad more luxe than the Kay, but it you don't notice them, than get the Kay. I will try to do a comparison short.
I think the Mackage Adali and Akiva are better for petite frames. They have the same hoods as the Trish and Kay but are shorter in length. I recommend you try both lengths and see what you prefer though. I bought my jacket from Bloomingdales but I have seen them at Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom. I’d be on the lookout for sales come Christmas.
@@littlemomment if that works for you than great. I recommend trying both lengths. I’m 5 inches taller than you so this coat looks different on me than you.
Good question. This jacket is more feminine than a similar Moncler style. I love the signature Mackage fur hood also. Moncler is more classic and timeless. Where this Mackage is more of a statement.
I created a short comparing the Mackage Trish and Kay coats ruclips.net/user/shorts6Cd-6eNT2Lg
This is the most thorough and accurate review ever!! So good!
Thanks so much for watching!
Amazing Review Mackage Needs To Pay You For This Amazing Review You Are On Point… ✨✨✨✨✨
Thank you so much 🤗

Soooo helpful! Especially the comparison to the Kay. This was everything I needed to know THANK YOU!!!
Thanks for watching! Glad it was helpful!
Just bought this coat and I’m so obsessed with it I’m just watching videos from other fans 🤣❤️❤️
Yay! I still love the coat after over 5 years.
@ so now I’m trying to figure out the difference between the Trish and the Akiva- do you happen to know?
@ The Akiva is hip length. The Trish is mid thigh length.
Trish is $1590 now! I was looking at Trish and Kay too! And the pockets steered me to Trish also. Going to get it next week! Can’t wait!!

thank you so much for comparing to the kay coat! super helpful
You’re welcome! Both coats are lovely and will make you happy.

I will definitely show that in my next video! I rarely use it but it's nice to know about.

Super great review
Thanks for watching ☺️
You've had it since 2017?? It still looks so pristine 🥰
Yeah. It’s a great coat! I spot clean it if I see a mark and that has helped it last longer. It’s in excellent condition.
Great review! Do you have the Nori 2-1 wool coat with Shearling bib?
No, sorry
Great review. Thank you.
Thank you for watching!
I’m 5’2. Would this work on me? Or would it be too long. Also what department stores sell this? I def. Need a winter coat. Thank you so much.
