To answer your question at 5:14, Kellin Quinn is the frontman to an American rock band named Sleeping With Sirens based in Orlando, Florida. They make really good music.
Well, the change in sonic is how the fighting system is. Instead of linear maps you just run through, it's open world with a fighting system kind of like Devil may cry but much simpler. Instead of now just flying with super sonic, you have a full on shonen battle with these big titans.
I had the same reaction when I first heard this song. I'm a massive Sleeping With Sirens fan and never would I have ever thought they would be linked to anything Sonic.
HOO BOY Sonic Frontiers is such a wild game. Loved it beginning to end. If you want a general list/song order - "I'm Here" feat. Merry Kirk Holmes - Main Theme "Undefeatable" feat. IT’S ABOUT TIME! These boss songs all hit HARD! Glad you’re finally checking them out!😃 Also, I somehow KNEW your first reaction to it would be stunned silence followed by asking if this is actually Sonic. Kellin Quinn brought Sonic boss songs to another level!🤘 Lastly, here’s something to think about: this is the theme for the FIRST BOSS of the game! Good luck with the rest!😆
This was a very pleasant surprise for me to see, as a very avid Sonic fan! Sonic Frontiers has a killer soundtrack! Hard to believe that this is the first boss theme XD For reacting to Sonic Frontiers songs, the essentials are "Undefeatable", "Breath through it all" (My personal fav), "Find your flame" and " I'm here". If you react to one you need to react to all, it's the law. For you personally from the Sonic Frontiers soundtrack I also recommend reacting to "Vandalize" by ONE OK ROCK. (Edit: Wait you did already, I'm like 90% sure that's how I found your channel to begin with, don't mind me lmfao) And for my personal recommendations from the soundtrack are "Guardian: Squid" and "Kronos Island: 3rd mvt.", which aren't commonly reacted to, but I think it would be neat to because of how the style differs, which highlights the impressive range of the soundtrack. This is the best thing to happen to me all year, you have no idea! Thanks for being my favorite person today haha
SEGA and Sonic Team almost never fails in music, react to more Sonic songs, like Unawakening Float, His World, Live and Learn, Endless Possibilities, Find Your Flame, Break Through it All, etc
Sonic Frontiers' boss battle themes are INSANE!! I guess that's what you get when you bring Kellin Quinn from Sleeping With Sirens in as the vocalist! The others featuring him are "Break Through It All" and "Find Your Flame", and I highly recommend checking them out too. And the main theme "I'm Here" is another banger. The original version was performed by a different singer (Merry Kirk-Holmes), but is also of a similar style, and there's also a newer version ("I'm Here - Revisited") from the expansion, which brings Kellin back to do the vocals. Both versions are definitely worth a listen as well! (I also wanna mention that the rest of the soundtrack slaps as well, especially the Cyber S0ace level themes, but they're definitely more in the electro territory.)
lmao yeah, the second you first said "WTF" my reaction was HA TOLD YOU SO also, the little Fire and the Flames riff in the middle always makes me smile
Loved this! Sonic games have always covered a wide variety of music genres and rock/metal is a common one in the soundtracks. I recommend listening to the other frontiers boss themes and maybe even some songs from other games, almost all sonic songs are bangers lol
And now it's time to listen to Find your Flame 😏 Btw even if it wasn't going this hard years ago, sonic osts always had this rock / metal vibes. (Sonic Heroes for example) About the singers of this song, they're from a band called Dangerkids !
Hey, hey, hey, want to know something ? Out of the 3 main songs (undefetable, Break Through it All and Find your flame), this one is the softeqt in my opinion 😂 You're in for one HELL of a ride ! Better react to other two ! By the way, Kellin Quinn is part of the band Sleeping with Sirens. But not before we all burst past that 400k milestone !!
Find Your Flame - Sonic Frontiers Infinite - Sonic Forces Un-Gratify - Sonic Riders I'm Here (Revisited) - Sonic Frontiers These are my favorites that I can name atm 😋
the sonic games (after the first two) have always put hard rock/metal into their soundtracks. Anyone who played everything up to frontiers would tell you that as they grew the music grew with them. Thus we get to frontiers where overworld stuff is symphonic and boss music is heavy metal. Exactly what any lifelong sonic fan would want.
Sonic have a very long history with rock/metal songs for its final bosses, pretty much everytime SuperSonic is involved. Now, keep in mind what you just listened to was the 1st boss of Frontiers, not even close to being a final boss...No wonder it gives the image of "everything is lost and Sonic goes full anime epicness"! What's next weird idea, Sega giving him a sword? ;)
The Sonic franchise has been upfront with rock and metal since Open Your Heart played in the intro of Sonic Adventure in 1998. Frontiers is definitely the hardest it's ever gone though since arguably I Am from Shadow the Hedghog in 2005. My personal nostalgia picks is that and Live and Learn from Sonic Adventure 2
I know other people have already recommended other Sonic tracks, but I'll throw in my own list as well for fun: "Live and Learn" "I Am... All Of Me" "Open Your Heart" And of course I eagerly await your reactions to the rest of the Frontiers boss themes :)
Sonic games outside of the game have always had a hard rock type of sound like his world from 06 or Crush 40 it's just that with Frontier's they turn the dial to an 11 and I absolutely love it.
The 2 other songs by Kellin Quinn are Find Your Flame + Break Through It All. Also I hope you would return to PENTAKILL from LoL one day, in which I would recommend this song Pentakill Gathering Storm.
you totally need to hear the rest of the songs like this from the ost. break through it all, find your flame, and i’m here (the main theme of the entire game, and also i recommend the original, mainly because i like that one more, but you can check out the revisited version afterwards)
This song plays during a super sonic battle and there are 2 to 3 more super sonic battles all with different songs called “break through it all” , “find your flame” and “i’m here”
the absolute dichotomy of the sonic frontiers music, from the heavy metal boss themes, the pumping edm of the cyberworlds, to the chill lo fi of big's fishing, you have a whole world to explore and the stakes have never been higher!
It's always fun to watch people's 1st reaction to Sonic music, as it's always the same ("Since when did Sonic music go this hard" etc) And the thing is, it's ALWAYS been like this as far back as Sonic Adventure. Not necessarily the same genre from game to game, or even within the same game, but Sonic OSTs are consistently amazing.
Highly recommend listing to the rest of the boss themes and overall soundtrack of Frontiers, I’d also recommend playing it because fighting the bosses while hearing these songs is an amazing feeling. Nice reaction!
I never thought this day would come🥹, i never expected him to react to something Sonic related. Just know that theres wayyyyyy more where that song came from. Sonic has always had some of the best music in videogame franchises.
I had a similar reaction when playing Final Fantasy games and usually getting nice jpop and ballads, and then I got to Final Fantasy 13-2, and the first boss fight you have the OST kicks in this HEAVY metal, that was an experience. Awesome OST by the way, but it was quite the whiplash the first time I played it.
As a Sonic Frontiers fan you don't know how DELIGHTED I am to see this ! This OST didn't even get nominated at the game awards, can you believe the travesty ?? So now you know you have to react to the next ones, "Break Through It All" and "Find Your Flame", and don't stop there, you have to do "I'm Here", then the orchestral version, then "I'm Here - Revisited". I promise it's worth it. But this isn't all ! Because I hope you don't only hear the Boss music, I want you to hear the field music as well. There's so many island movements I could recommend, but if you need to hear just one, though it's not my personal favorite, I'll say you should listen to "Theme of Starfall Islands" ( yes written like that ). And if you have the time for more, I recommend all the character movements from the DLC ( they literally have the characters' names in them you can't miss them ).
Makes sense, as good as it is, there are games with overall better ost. I loved the boss theme, but everything else was pretty meh. I was really disappointed to not have a remix of the classic levels ost. Green Hill, Sky Sanctuary... And yes, Genshin Impact and Xenoblade Chronicles 3 have better ost imo. As much as I love Sonic, these two games were better, had more variety or a greater number of good musics
@@Itsukazutrap Well I gotta say I disagree about everything else being meh. But that's just opinions. I'm a big Xenoblade fan too, I was so mad it didn't win the soundtrack category, it deserved it !!
I LOVE that you reacted to this. Sonic music is so consistently great, and this song goes hard. Saw other commenters mention the other songs from Sonic Frontiers - agreed that they are all absolute bangers
Game OSTs: Final Fantasy 10 - "Otherworld" Final Fantasy 14 - "Shadowbringers" Persona 5 - "With the Stars and Us" Persona 5 - "Swear to my Bones" Persona 5 - "Our Light" Persona 5 - "Beneath the Mask" Persona 5 - "Aria of the Soul" Neir: Automata - "Wretched Machinery" Neir: Automata - "Song of the Ancients" Neir: Automata - "Amusement Park" Warframe - "This is What You Are" Warframe - "We All Lift Together" Warframe - "Sleeping in the Cold Below" Portal 2 - "Turret Opera (/Cara Mia Addio)" Mirror's Edge - "Still Alive"
I have loved sonic games since it was released on sega genesis some up and down with there games but I can say one thing I have always loved about the sonic franchise they had some really great music especially ever since they got into sonic adventures
Sonic Frontiers brought back a lot of good will. I grew up on early 2000s Sonic and while the game lacks polish, the atmosphere, story, and THE MUSIC made me so happy Definitely do Break Through It All and Find Your Flame
There's the main theme song of "Sonic Frontiers" called "I'm Here" and then there's another version of the song for "The Final Horizon" DLC and it's called "I'm Here Revisited" and then there are other vocal songs called "Dear Father" and "I'm with you" and "One Way Dream" and "Break Through It All" and "Find Your Flame" too
Some other Sonic classics include “Open Your Heart” from Sonic Adventure, “Live and Learn” from Sonic Adventure 2, “What I’m Made Of” from Sonic Heroes, and “I am All of Me” from Shadow the Hedgehog.
Finally!!!!! I jumped out of my seat in excitement when I saw the thumbnail!! You must react to the other boss themes! "Break through it all" is insane! "Find your flame" is my favourite! And then both versions of "I'm Here" are incredible and I highly recommend both! (The original version and the revisited cover by Kellin Quinn)
Sonic Frontiers (the game this OST's from) has more mature themes compared to the previous Sonic games, it's also the first open world Sonic game! Also, if you wanna hear more of this, you should listen to Break Through It All, Find Your Flame and I'm Here
Perspective: Sleeping With Sirens have been around since 2009 (I was in High School at the time.), they've had 7 albums/EP releases, including one that released as recent as 2021 with two new singles releasing in 2022. Kellin is 37 now, I feel fucking old, and I'm not kidding, when I first heard this song, I thought it was one of the oldies. This guy isn't just talented, he's withstood the test of time doing the things he does with his voice, and I respect him greatly for that (I did unclean vocals for a few years prior to going into Music Production in my early 20s; I can still do it today, even if I haven't been working on music in years).
Easily the best track in the whole game right here. My favourite used to be Vandalize, and I still love that song to bits, but Undefeatable has taken the number one spot for me. Listened and sung along to it an unhealthy amount of times by now.
all of sonic frontiers ost is AMAZING! you definetly shoud react to other bosses themes: "break trough it all" which is a wyvern's theme, "find your flame" - knight's theme, and "i'm here - revisited" - supreme's theme.
Sonic Frontiers was always billed as Something New For Sonic. When they announced open-world gameplay, we were excited. When we saw the character development, we cheered. When we heard the boss themes, we IGNITED. This is the first boss theme, the second is called Break Through It All. It will set your soul on fire, mate.
I recommend you listen to: 13 Sentinels - Brat Overflow I've previously recommended to you the following anime: Death Note, Code Geass, Parasyte and FMA Brotherhood. You know they're all bangers. So is this song. =p
This music is when you are in Super Form in the sky above a mountain range and lift up a skyscraper-size machine colossus to dropkick-dunk it into the landscape beneath. ... yes, that is the kinda boss this plays for. And yes, that is a thing you can do in that fight. xD

This was a very pleasant surprise for me to see, as a very avid Sonic fan! Sonic Frontiers has a killer soundtrack! Hard to believe that this is the first boss theme XD
For reacting to Sonic Frontiers songs, the essentials are "Undefeatable", "Breath through it all" (My personal fav), "Find your flame" and " I'm here". If you react to one you need to react to all, it's the law.
For you personally from the Sonic Frontiers soundtrack I also recommend reacting to "Vandalize" by ONE OK ROCK. (Edit: Wait you did already, I'm like 90% sure that's how I found your channel to begin with, don't mind me lmfao)
And for my personal recommendations from the soundtrack are "Guardian: Squid" and "Kronos Island: 3rd mvt.", which aren't commonly reacted to, but I think it would be neat to because of how the style differs, which highlights the impressive range of the soundtrack.
This is the best thing to happen to me all year, you have no idea! Thanks for being my favorite person today haha
i laughed so hard when you took off your headphones at the beginning omg this reaction was perfect thank you xDDDDD
SEGA and Sonic Team almost never fails in music, react to more Sonic songs, like Unawakening Float, His World, Live and Learn, Endless Possibilities, Find Your Flame, Break Through it All, etc
Omg Unawakening Float! Secret rings is so deeply under rated. I also love the white of sky!
@@ChrisPyre High and Broken, No Way Through, Blue on the Run too
Sonic Frontiers' boss battle themes are INSANE!!
(I also wanna mention that the rest of the soundtrack slaps as well, especially the Cyber S0ace level themes, but they're definitely more in the electro territory.)
that's what you get when the stars collide after all
@@phantom9831now you’ve gotta face it, you’re just an enemy sometimes
lmao yeah, the second you first said "WTF" my reaction was HA TOLD YOU SO
also, the little Fire and the Flames riff in the middle always makes me smile
Kellin Quinn is from the band Sleeping With Sirens!
My fav band as well :)
You NEED to react to more of the boss themes i’m not even kidding Find Your Flame and Break Through It All are so fucking good
Loved this! Sonic games have always covered a wide variety of music genres and rock/metal is a common one in the soundtracks. I recommend listening to the other frontiers boss themes and maybe even some songs from other games, almost all sonic songs are bangers lol
Sonic was always like this😄 adventure series, heroes most games have OUTSTANDING osts. Every game is guaranteed to have a banger OST
And now it's time to listen to Find your Flame 😏
Btw even if it wasn't going this hard years ago, sonic osts always had this rock / metal vibes. (Sonic Heroes for example)
About the singers of this song, they're from a band called Dangerkids !
Hey, hey, hey, want to know something ? Out of the 3 main songs (undefetable, Break Through it All and Find your flame), this one is the softeqt in my opinion 😂
You're in for one HELL of a ride ! Better react to other two !
By the way, Kellin Quinn is part of the band Sleeping with Sirens.
But not before we all burst past that 400k milestone !!
🤯
dont forget I'm Here and I'm Here Revisited
Kellin Quinn is part of the band sleeping with sirens and i still love his vocal range.
yes yes yes yes all of the sonic frontier bosses go insanely hard
Find Your Flame - Sonic Frontiers
Infinite - Sonic Forces
Un-Gratify - Sonic Riders
I'm Here (Revisited) - Sonic Frontiers
These are my favorites that I can name atm 😋
the sonic games (after the first two) have always put hard rock/metal into their soundtracks.
What's next weird idea, Sega giving him a sword? ;)
Give him a gun-no wait
@@pageclayton6850 What about a car? Wouldn't reduce the ammount of speed tickets but at least make more managable to catch him. xD
Ok now that you’ve done undefeatable you should do “break through it all”, “find your flame”, and “I’m here”.
My friend, heavy rock and metal have been he sound of Sonic since atleast 1999, this is just the latest in a decades long collection of hits.
Sonic had awesome music since Crush 40. You should listen to them too.
I know other people have already recommended other Sonic tracks, but I'll throw in my own list as well for fun:
"Live and Learn"
"I Am... All Of Me"
"Open Your Heart"
And of course I eagerly await your reactions to the rest of the Frontiers boss themes :)
I feel "His World" is pretty awesome too, despite...you know...
One of my favorite frontiers songs is one called I'm here Merry Kirk-Holmes (To Octavia), I recommend you to do it.
ahh sonic ost's, one of my favorites since sonic adventure. AAAAND people still SLEEP HARD on the blue blur music.
Risk of Rain 2 OST: The Rain Formerly Known as Purple by Chris Christodoulou is by far my favorite video game OST.
Newcomers to Sonic: "HOLY CRAP! SINCE WHEN DID SONIC GO THIS HARD!!"
Crush 40 Veterans: "First time, huh?"
This plays as you control Super Sonic, beating up a literally skyscraper-sized boss in a DMC-esque combat system in freeflight.
... YYYEAH. xD
SO GLAD U REACTED TO THIS ❤️
it always cracks me up and brings me joy when people are caught off gaurd by this song. excellent reaction.
you totally need to hear the rest of the songs like this from the ost. break through it all, find your flame, and i’m here (the main theme of the entire game, and also i recommend the original, mainly because i like that one more, but you can check out the revisited version afterwards)
4:30 so basically, Super Sonic is fighting this giant robotic eldritch titan while doing badass moves out of an anime
its so fucking cool.
This song plays during a super sonic battle and there are 2 to 3 more super sonic battles all with different songs called “break through it all” , “find your flame” and “i’m here”
sonic OST has always slapped
not always in a heavy metal way but it sure is a legendary franchise when it comes to OSTs
the absolute dichotomy of the sonic frontiers music, from the heavy metal boss themes, the pumping edm of the cyberworlds, to the chill lo fi of big's fishing, you have a whole world to explore and the stakes have never been higher!
It's always fun to watch people's 1st reaction to Sonic music, as it's always the same ("Since when did Sonic music go this hard" etc)
And the thing is, it's ALWAYS been like this as far back as Sonic Adventure.
In this video: G.O.T. discovers just what level contemporary Sonic music has been on for many, many years now, and it is wonderful~
I never thought this day would come🥹, i never expected him to react to something Sonic related. Just know that theres wayyyyyy more where that song came from. Sonic has always had some of the best music in videogame franchises.
this game was the first Sonic game i´ve played after sonic 4 ep 2 came out, so i was as surprised about the ost as you, truly an experience.
The fact sonic frontier ost tracks were at top ten on Spotify was its own rewards. Also getting over 100 million views as well recently
I LOVE that you reacted to this. Sonic music is so consistently great, and this song goes hard. Saw other commenters mention the other songs from Sonic Frontiers - agreed that they are all absolute bangers
Game OSTs:
Final Fantasy 10 - "Otherworld"
Final Fantasy 14 - "Shadowbringers"
Persona 5 - "With the Stars and Us"
Persona 5 - "Swear to my Bones"
Persona 5 - "Our Light"
Persona 5 - "Beneath the Mask"
Persona 5 - "Aria of the Soul"
Neir: Automata - "Wretched Machinery"
Neir: Automata - "Song of the Ancients"
Neir: Automata - "Amusement Park"
Warframe - "This is What You Are"
Warframe - "We All Lift Together"
Warframe - "Sleeping in the Cold Below"
Portal 2 - "Turret Opera (/Cara Mia Addio)"
Mirror's Edge - "Still Alive"
I enjoy the boss tracks from Sonic Frontiers so much. They’re up there with the Metal Gear Rising Revengance boss tracks for me.
I have loved sonic games since it was released on sega genesis some up and down with there games but I can say one thing I have always loved about the sonic franchise they had some really great music especially ever since they got into sonic adventures
Always great to see people enjoying the ost to this game, it’s amazing. Be sure to do “Breakthrough it all” next, that’s the one to the second boss
Sonic Frontiers brought back a lot of good will. I grew up on early 2000s Sonic and while the game lacks polish, the atmosphere, story, and THE MUSIC made me so happy
Definitely do Break Through It All and Find Your Flame
Music in Sonic games which sound close to this was in Sonic and The Secret Rings and Sonic and The Black Knight. It’s just a kickass
You should see the fight this song goes with. As weird as it seems for a song like this to be in a Sonic game, it REALLY fits in this case.
Its pretty surreal hearing my favorite vocalist Kellin Quinn from Sleeping with Sirens being part of the the you also loved
Just came here after hearing your reaction to "da capo" I needed something that doesn't bawl my eyes out man
There's the main theme song of "Sonic Frontiers" called "I'm Here" and then there's another version of the song for "The Final Horizon" DLC and it's called "I'm Here Revisited" and then there are other vocal songs called "Dear Father" and "I'm with you" and "One Way Dream" and "Break Through It All" and "Find Your Flame" too
I play Phantasy Star Online 2, and these are song/discs you can have in the in-game music playlist. Love it lol
His reaction is the exact same reaction I had when that first boss battle happened. I couldn't believe how absolutely METAL they made Sonic!
As a die hard Sonic fan myself, who has grew up with the franchise since I was a child, I promise you, I was shocked too lol
Also, if you wanna hear more of this, you should listen to Break Through It All, Find Your Flame and I'm Here
Break through it all would be more crazy as first one :D @GOTGames
The Sonic franchise has so much music like this, all bangers. You should also try Live & Learn and I Am All Of Me!
I was singin' along with the song I've got this game's entire soundtrack including cyber space AND cutscene audio
Easily the best track in the whole game right here. My favourite used to be Vandalize, and I still love that song to bits, but Undefeatable has taken the number one spot for me. Listened and sung along to it an unhealthy amount of times by now.
weird genius featuring pepita with his song entitled catalyst which is really cool and spectacular
all of sonic frontiers ost is AMAZING! you definetly shoud react to other bosses themes: "break trough it all" which is a wyvern's theme, "find your flame" - knight's theme, and "i'm here - revisited" - supreme's theme.
Now that you've watched this, you are legally obliged to fall down the rabbit hole of the Sonic Frontiers soundtrack (:
I recommend you listen to: 13 Sentinels - Brat Overflow
I've previously recommended to you the following anime: Death Note, Code Geass, Parasyte and FMA Brotherhood. You know they're all bangers. So is this song. =p
To Be King is such an awesome song. Gives me huge vibes
Dude sonic was always like these
Watch infinite theme
Yes! Finally! "Break Through it All" next!
Now you gotta listen to the other sonic ost's now. This is the music that actually got me into rock as a kid funnily enough.
Sonic music is so epic I was listening to a playlist from the sonic series so many great songs in sonic the hedgehog
Yes, that is Kellin Quinn from the band Sleeping With Sirens.
We Warped Tour up in here XD
Definitely have to listen to Find Your Flame, Break Through It All, I'm Here (the Revisited version is probably the best), and One Way Dream
sonic music has always been this hype teehee
Yep. This particular game has 150 songs. Several genres. Electro, House, Rock, Metal, Funk, and some really soulful piano pieces.
This music is when you are in Super Form in the sky above a mountain range and lift up a skyscraper-size machine colossus to dropkick-dunk it into the landscape beneath.
... yes, that is the kinda boss this plays for. And yes, that is a thing you can do in that fight. xD
