Hi - thanks for your excellent and clear video along with all the links. My question concerns audio. If I want to listen privately, have a soundbar and hook up my pc/mac via HDMI, how can I do that? On the TV my choices are TV Speakers or Soundbar. (Vizio). On the laptop, in Zoom I go to the Mute button (Audio) and choose the soundbar. All great. But what if I also want to listen privately with BT earphones? I haven't figured out that one! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I would think that Zoom would give you the option to choose your BT earphones if they are connected to your laptop. It should list any sound option that you can use with other applications.
Guys I haven't Android TV and have sideloaded zoom APK on the TV itself. Android 9.0 has native USB webcam support for certain cameras. I get both audio and video working perfectly on zoom. The only drawback I have is that with the Android app it only displays for participants at once
I have no problem sharing my laptop screen with the TV, but when I join a zoom meeting, the TV goes blank. This video does not answer that problem. Screen sharing in the zoom meeting or screen mirroring in zoom have no effecr.
Very elegant! However, how do you pull off a HDMI "Output" from a XPS 15 windows 10 Laptop using Zoom where the Laptop's HDMI is already occupied by a HDMI Capture Card "Input" that is connected to a GoPro Hero 8. I have this dilemma...the wired connection for video is always the strongest and most stable and tonight I had a family meeting on Zoom of about 21 people. However, it was difficult to see them very well...too many squares. I thought there must be some way to project the HDMI to a large HDMI monitor. However, the HDMI port for the HD60 S+ capture card is already occupied. It's piping video into the computer so what type of splitter or mixer device is capable of allowing the HDMI VIDEO "IN" and HDMI VIDEO "Out" from the Zoom Application simultaneously to the same port. As far as I know the the XPS does not have any other "wired" way to output video aside from the HDMI port. Again, I'm purposefully avoid chromecast or any wireless solutions as they result in unwanted video/audio "lag". Maybe there is a video mixer or something that could work but I don't know.
Update: I just discovered a solution to my question....there is a USB-C/Thunderbolt port that I am able to use to connect to a USB-C to HDMI adapter that can connect to a Monitor with HDMI IN.
I recently (yesterday) bought the C920 & C922, to see which worked better. I'm curious why you choose C920 over the newer version. Also, I'm having a live presentation with about 25 people next week, where we will feature two virtual presentations via zoom. I want to broadcast them to a bigger screen, so I really appreciate your video describing how to do that, but I also want to have my webcam set up above the tv, like you're doing it, so that the guest audience may ask questions of the presenters. Will there be interference or any kind of device conflict by doing this?
