I recently left the company and went to a new company working as a Financial Management Specialist. The office is so toxic because of the manager. She beat me up for every mistake and it’s no training. You learn as you go. Now I am looking to go back to a firm as a Legal Assistant.

Also remind yourself that if it does not work out, it was still a learning experience and there is a better opportunity out there for you. Also law firms, especially in California, look for Paralegals that have a certificate. You can take schooling for this & it takes a year to complete. You get a better chance to get hired & perhaps s higher pay.

I'm looking into becoming a LAA, would you say that overall, the job is very repetitive/boring? That is what a lot of people I've been talking to have been warning me about.
@@kylie2800 hmm I’m not familiar with the term LAA specifically apologies but if you’re referring to a legal assistant, I would say it comes down to experience and also which department you are in because it will vary. Obviously the more proficient you get at something, there will be aspects that will be habitual/ repetitive but I think that’s common in any job over time :)
