    One of the best performances I have ever seen, and I have watched this many many times before and never tire of it. Shoshana just shines.

    Woohoo! Shoshana shows us what The Blues are all about. I especially love that moment where she's singing, "And it just keeps on getting harder" and she slows down her vibrato at the word "on" for emphasis. Then there's the breakdown where all her emotions are laid bare. A tour de force. Thanks for your great reaction and analysis, Jen! Congrats on the F6, also.

    This is a classic! Shoshana Bean is a beast! Great reaction. Yes, this can only leave you practically speechless - and the live orchestra setting also adds so much to it. A magical moment in music history, I would say!

    Love the reaction , and I know you've done a couple of reactions to "She used to be mine" done by Kelly Clarkson and Katherine Mcphee as well as having covered it yourself...BUT...I would strongly recommend checking out Shoshana Bean singing it. She is amazing, and I am not a huge musical theater person but I felt like I was living it while she sang. Anyway, you're great, keep doing what you're doing!

    Shoshannna Bean has the ability to connect emotionally to a belch and make you cry. This woman is a master of her craft and the absolute best hands down I have ever seen in a female vocalist. I have cried more times than I care to admit listening to her sing and she just has a way of making me feel exactly what she wants me to feel at the exact intensity she wants me to feel it. Her singing it used to be mine where she is sitting next to the piano brings me to tears everytime I hear it. As soon as I hear the words " Its not easy " in her voice I know Im doomed. but I always find myself clicking the thumbnail everytime it shows in my feed. I also click anytime I see her name. This performance is stunning too. she leaves me awestruck.

    I love love love this performance! It's probably the best live performance I've ever seen. She's so committed to the emotion, the delivery, the storytelling, that pain... THAT is the Blues. And on top of that, the amount of talent and technique. She's just phenomenal!!!
    And I simply adore how she chooses to end the performance. At that point, the air is so thick and intense with emotion that it's so amazing, and thoughtful, how she just allows herself to just stay there, gently letting the energy dissipate while her bandmates carry on and finish the song themselves. All of them so in sync, professional and incredibly talented.

    Loved this!! I love Sho & this is my FAVORITE video to watch people react to, esp when they really appreciate all the small and subtle moments in the beginning, like you do! She's otherworldly. :) (So glad that you checked our her album as well, bc her originals are stunners!)

    Interesting performance. Probably not something I would listen to on my own but the fact that you and others love it is good enough for me. This lady has great stamina and a wonderful voice. Again, I really enjoy your reactions! It tickled me when you went for that high note and seemed shocked that you hit it. I also like that you react but don't over- react. Meaning, you don't hop arouns the room ( some literally do this!) Or get up looking all shocked and perplexed and walk out of the room or say you're speechless and the spend the next 2 hours telling us how speechless you are! And you didn't disappoint with your facial expressions. My favorite is your frowny face which you made towards the end. Thanks for another piece of good content! Blessings!

    Great reaction and loved to see you so gobsmacked by it. This gets me every time! What an impressive performance and wild ride of emotions. The two other songs that really catch me this way are Lara Fabian (Je Suis Malade) and Yebba (My Mind @ Sofar). Like this performance, if you don't get moved, you're soul is dead! Thanks again

    It's incredibly rude that she isn't sharing any of that amazing talen with the rest of us😢 That descending run at the end made my trombone-playing self make the "whoo" noice and shake my head like I was in a jazz band.

    She's new to me, but I'm hooked! I haven't asked you any dumb questions lately, so your luck was due to run out. Watching this video made me start thinking about my vibrato. I've noticed that in my lower register, before it disappears completely, my vibrato tends to slow down. Is that just the mechanics of the voice, or are there exercises to gain control of the speed of your vibrato? Can you speed it up and slow it down to suit you? I've noticed that when you sing in your reactions, you seem to always match their vibrato, or am I imagining that? Thanks!

    • @JenniferGlatzhofer
      @JenniferGlatzhofer  2 года назад

      Yay!! And ask away 😊 so vibrato comes from a stable sound and vocal fold closure, perhaps as you’re heading down to you lower range you might feel a little tense? Obviously I have no idea how you sound so may be completely wrong!! You can definitely slow it down and speed it up depending on what you want! Ah may be I do ahah!

    Hey just a helpful suggestion - utilize your playlists more. One playlist of simply ‘reactions’ doesn’t cut it. If you’ve reacted to a person or group 2 or more times, it’s helpful to have a dedicated playlist. For instance, I wanted to check out what Angelina Jordan videos you’ve done, but you don’t have a playlist of them. And I, like most people, am not going to sift through lord knows how much content to sniff them out. If that makes sense lol. Which means, losing views and watchtime for no reason! Lol girl! I wanna give it to you! But I don’t wanna hunt for it ya know lol
