      Fire Tuck I believe there is a carving of statue of some kind near the office of a motorcycle in a tree. That really happened! Our group was leaving our stay and of of our guys on a Goldwing went off the road just past the campground on the way to Waynesville. His bike was actually stuck in a tree by the river bank. Henry, the original owner, got his pickup truck, backed it up to the tree, and with our help, dragged it out of the tree and took it back to the campground and stored it, till our friend mended his fractured ribs at the Heywood Med. Ctr. We had many a nite by the campfire telling 'lies', and if anyone got out of hand after 11, Henry would come out and hose the fire down.😂

    My insomniac self stumbled across this video. I have a 2010 Goldwing, I also MotoVlog, I'm seriously thinking about a camper to pull around, my wife is ridiculously shy, especially around cameras, and I live in Weaverville N.C..... Great video. Does the LL have an add a room option? Looks like a decent camper! Stay Well!

      Thanks. Your comment means a lot. I’m just really starting off myself and really love to watch others and the adventures they go on. That made me want to start to do the same. The mountain roads are definitely nice to look at but unfortunately I live in the flat land closer to the coast. We are looking forward to next year to go on some more trips and as you can see, there will definitely be a video to follow.

      @FiretuckAdventures  3 года назад

      Thanks for the sub! If you like camping you should look at the leesure lite campers. The setup is so easy. I think that hauling everything in the Hotel would be more work sometimes. I do have a cargo trailer also so to me it’s about having the options. Plus when going on an extended day ride the camper is nice for us for 2 reasons, ambiance and the savings to stay the night. Ride Safe!

      @@FiretuckAdventures thanks for the info. Question for you is I used to go camping with a 30ft travel trailer and I decided after kids were grown to sell and get a boat. However is it as much work setting up as it was going camping with a vehicle? How long does it take from the time you arrive to when you are done and ready to relax. Have you timed it?

    • @FiretuckAdventures
      @FiretuckAdventures  3 года назад

      @@mosmotorcyclejourney9067 I have had several travel trailers over the last 20 years and we decided to sell them about 4 years ago. After being without we realized we missed it. Yes the RV’s are a lot of work. As far as the LL I would say within about 15mins everything is set up including the awning, chairs and misc. stuff. If you are just settle camper and nothing else, it only takes about 5 mins. It would take less but I have a rack on the back that I have to remove before the camper expands. There are a few videos on setup out there.

    • @FiretuckAdventures
      @FiretuckAdventures  3 года назад

      @@RealJayPowell all jokes aside those folks were really nice to talk to. Everybody has different skill levels and I don’t like to judge. With that being said I always pay attention to other riders and give them the room they need to “ride their own ride”. I will say that exit out of the campground was somewhat challenging with the washouts and the transition from loose gravel to asphalt. I can say this.... there were out doing what they loved and like anyone, skill level will improve with the miles. I remember when I jumped on my goldwing the first time, I’m sure folks were talking about me to.
