Adnan and Kalam continue their discussion on racism...
Adnan disputes Kalams recent video addressed to himself (Adnan) called "Is Adnan a Closet Racist".
He (Adnan) then goes on to attempt to prove, that it is in fact Kalam! who is the real racist, with Kalam defending himself against being called a racist and reaffirming his original video.
To be honest Adnan is right

In the religion a claim a muslim is not a muslim is supposed to be a very damning( literally you might say ) statement so such claims must have really strong evidence to support them and making a false claim against someone is regarded as almost as bad.

excommunication or Takfir in Islam is a very serious business. Because it basically implies apostasy which by its right implies death and loss of property. Technically it depends on the school of jurisprudence (Shafa'ei, Hanafi, Hanbali..etc) in Sunni Islam. The reasoning could be anything form public renunciation of the religion, to insulting or critisizing the prophet, or even missing a daily prayer. Other than that, sinning or making wrong judgement aren't reason for Takfir, even if it is significant major sins, like rape or murder.
If he is saying they are not Muslims literally, then he could easily be refuted via the reasoning outlined above. If he just means the apologetic "They aren't real Muslims maaan", then he might be saying something like they aren't following Islam in this particular incident.
The problem then becomes, who decides who is following Islam or not? All claims to be following the scriptures (Quran/Sunna), so who's understanding do we follow?
And this is why the 4-5 major schools of jurisprudence is so important, because they inform the behavior of most Muslims today, implicitly or explicitly. It is the best way to shut down obscurantist Muslim apologetics.
