Crazy thing about it is that in college he couldn’t exhibit his skill to the fullest ability due to the fact teams where playing zone defenses and his area of expertise is 1 on 1

    • @deez9805

And he was playing on a veteran team. He had to share the ball a lot with Seth, Nolan, and Singler. If Kyrie was on a squad full of freshman coach K would’ve let him shoot every play like he did with Zion and RJ. On Ks freshman teams he always let the best 1 or 2 EAT and then the rest play off them. During this era, he wasn’t like that and that’s why Duke was a lot more successful in the tournament. Nobody on this Duke team felt like a role player even tho Ky was obviously the best player.

But kyrie is the definition of that term his moves and understanding of the game is other worldly u can practice all day every day on your handles and still won’t be as good as kyrie it’s something he has that only god can pin point lol….he played 11 games in college he only started 8 of those games witch idk what coach k was thinking there but anyway lol…. within those 11 games he did enough to impress every single nba SCOUT … his father got a phone call he was told idc if kyrie gets back healthy don’t let him back on the court at Duke HE IS GOIN NUMBER 1 his father said I sure he got more he can show y’all before the draft …. The scouts said HELL YEA WE SURE put him in the basement and lock him down there until the draft 😂😂😂😂 …. he the only player in history to have that happen … 11 games played in college gets drafted number 1 y not just go out of high school did they change that rule ????
