I saw Kyrie in high school and Ky was different - his handles, ability to stop on a dime or change direction, his ability to shoot from 3 levels, and his ability to finish around the rim with english with either hand...he was doing all that back then. 💯🔥

for sure, he doesn't have a predefined set of moves that he does on you before he drives or shoots, so you never know when he's going to pull up or drive it can be after any move. James Harden for example, that guy is so predictable, 2 or 3 times between the legs and he's stepping back for a 3

It’s actually how a lot of elite soccer players play. Messi, the goat of soccer, does this a lot. He’ll let the ball roll at his feet without touching it waiting for the defender to make the first move then BOOM he’s gone based off what YOU decided to do. It’s magic

Great analogy. He plays like a great soccer player in that he will often let the defenders make the first move and the first mistake. Just dribble casually until they come in then you counter off what they do. To do this though the ball must be basically an extension of you.

It’s reaction based on what his defenders do. He pokes and prods and waits for YOU to cook yourself 😂😂
It’s a lot like how a player like Messi plays soccer. Often he won’t even touch the ball just do feints and wait for the defender to awkwardly step in then based off what the defender does he makes his move.
All about getting your opponents weight going the wrong way or off balance.
He’s playing the man across from him when everyone else is just focused on their own game. Crazy stuff.

We should appreciate and be glad we still have him still. Kyrie is a once of a lifetime talent that comes around. This is probably what people felt during A.I. time. Players like them are so iconic that they spawn a whole group of generation trying to be just like them when they step on the court. I can't wait to tell my kids the thrill of watching kyrie like my dad told me about watching A.I.

Don't care, Kyrie is one of the best ever. About time they give him his flowers. Happy it's coming from basketball players themselves since some people love to hate on him. Saw his crazy talent in Cleveland before LeBron came back to the cavs. It's just beautiful to watch this guy does his thing. Can't say it for most players. He's special man.

When LeBron's Cleveland team finally reached the mountaintop and beat Golden State in 2016-17... it was Kyrie who went for 40 points in the same game that LeBron went for 40 points as well. This was the confidence booster that Kyrie needed to win the Chip that year. LeBron got lucky that Klay couldn't handle Irving.

Besides him being the best pg ever, he is from New Jersey, north Jersey at that. He is gifted. Its divine. Listening to what he says, how he acts, and how he moves. His spiritual, physical, and psychological awareness is a product of divine guidance. It’s that simple. #IYKYK
