I’m glad he’s getting his flowers. His control of the ball is second to none. Those stops in Boston and Brooklyn must’ve been rough for him, but he came back a better man, let alone player
He us a hybrid of Rod strickland and Kobe his dribbling and layups is almost identical to rod strickland the moves kyrie do rid Strickland was doing it in the 90s so kyrie is the evolution of him. Kyrie shoot tendencies all 3 levels is similar to Kobe
Hate that his prime was wasted due to lack of structure and integrity from the league. Players getting out of contracts and going wherever they wanted hurt some legacies. We could've had some battles, but this along w load management robbed the fans as well. Gonna take a long time for the league to recover
That's why Luka wanted Kyrie on the team. Last year at the trade deadline, Luka told Cuban, "I don't care what you have to do, get kyrie here." Cuban said ok, and the rest is history.
It's so nice seeing Kyrie smiling again and looking like he really loves basketball again now it's time to prove all the doubters wrong and having a good time doing it go Mavericks
@@rahkinggreen1268Nate was and is an incredible ball handler and is never forgotten. A lot of the young ones might not appreciate him as much as a old 61 year old olhead like myself, however, watching Kyree’s evolution and skill set since a NJ phenom has been incredible! Nate had a lot of “Oh damn” moments. Kure had and has Oooh my g__ damn!! Moments!! The intensity remains crazy whenever he play!!
Kyrie never really had a bad season from a pure individual basketball perspective. He came into the league with the deepest bag in pro basketball and was unguardable on Day 1! Never seen anybody like Kyrie
The sad thing is people in the comments talking about naturally gifted that is such B. S. and misleading to youth. I played at a high level college and post college pro-am overseas and there is absolutely nothing about kyrie that is natural. What I see with him and a few others like him is heart and crazy work ethic. I will repeat no one gets that complete without putting in their 10k hours plus. Repeat no-one. Kids don't believe these commentators or casuals that is endless hours rain sleet snow. Sacrificing hanging out chasing girls being cool crowd . It is a outer worldly work ethic. Period

It's almost like life full circle moment... for all the years Dirk couldnt play with the top Guards in the league now you get 2... you gotta love the basketball mahn like if you watch it enough times you can see history rewrite itself differently... Kyrie was meant not just for a organisation like the Mavs but To play with Luka is God Sent like if there is only one who should carry over Kobe's and MJs legacy it gotta be Kyrie to Luka because he the only one thats able to get better after 'Failure'....
Crazy he only hot to play like 8 games or something in college, and NBA scouts were like, "We should pick this kid up." He is by far the most skilled player currently in the NBA.
Superb coverage and unbiased comments. Kyrie is a dual threat with both hands as weapons. He has talents that are ever evolving to place the ball in the basket from almost any angle. His ball handling is called to the front of the line by other players who other players have chosen to be the best. Amazing and gifted player. Off the court a clear thinker that feeds back into his play.
Who tried to blacklist him? Everyone knows he's one of the most skilled players ever, but a bit kooky. This isn't a Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf or Colin Kaepernick situation, those are two great players who were blacklisted for their opinions. When has Kyrie ever received consequential treatment? When he was told to follow the same safety precautions every other NBA player was?

We, as human beings, tend to have more dexterity and control with tasks performed with our hands than with our feet. So, I always consider soccer skills to be more complex and difficult compared to basketball skills. I grew up in a culture where soccer (football) is THE SPORT, and we refer to it as "The Beautiful Game" (O Jogo Bonito). I now live in the US, and Kyrie is the main reason why I consider basketball to be another beautiful game.
Incredible video. You put a lot of work into this and it shows. Great job! Pistol Pete, Kyrie Irving, Steph Curry, Jason Williams - those are my Mount Rushmore for ball handlers. There are a few honorable mentions, but those are my Top 4. I include dribbling and passing when I consider this. I think that nobody had as natural of a feel for the ball as Pete, but I don't think Pete could dance, or "shake-n-bake" like Kyrie does. Jason was the trickiest passer of this group. Steph does everything well. We all have our opinions so I don't expect everyone to agree. As a Spurs fan, I definitely remember the game where Kyrie got 57 points in an overtime playoff game. It was 2015. In fact, that was sort of my introduction to Kyrie. I had heard his name and seen the Uncle Drew videos, but really had not seen him play an NBA game before that. HOLY CRAP! He was unguardable and unstoppable. Excited for Tip Off of Game 1 tonight in the 2024 NBA Finals.
Saying White Chocolate has better handles than Kyrie is just wildly cringe. Everyone’s always… Shaqs such a great guy….but here is just shamelessly hating on an all time great. If Kyrie was Shaq’s size he would have been the greatest big of all time because his work ethic and ego is galaxies apart. Shaq has something you can’t teach… his size. Kyrie has something you can’t teach… natural talent

Actually I think Kai is criminally underrated, and it feels like his time in Dallas is really confirming what we, fans knew about him, and the players knew, but the average fan didn't knew. That Kai... He's a baaaaad man!!!
Isiah Thomas is being extremely humble, that guy was ahead of his time, AMAZING, he's the best PG in NBA history easy. Go back and watch Isiah Thomas play if you haven't, everything these guys are doing with the ball today he was doing back then with blazing speed, he was efficient, a magician at passing, his I.Q. was high, he was tough as nails, and his jump shot pure.
