Just ordered one, ideal background noise to clear a park up and have it all to yourself

      hahaha, good one Richy....
Essentially this generator is to get me over the fact that there's no power while I'm parked up in the barn.
I need electric for my power tools in order to do those couple of projects I mentioned. Without this generator I be completely stuck.!
It's not the sort of thing I would use while travelling anyway as I have got ample solar and B2B power available.

Got quite a few videos in the pipeline now that we’re back.
In March we’ll be off to Europe for 6 months so I’ll be putting out videos of our travels and see if the motorhome modifications hold up.!!

A good addition. Looks pretty similar to my older Hyundai generator. That one looks smaller and with the addition of USB sockets.
Good projects coming up. Will be looking forwards to seeing the upgrades.
    Nice one.

That generator really has come in very handy indeed, in fact without it things would be very had to complete.
Starting on the fridge upgrade first then kitchen area. Hopefully all goes well...!!!

Thank you for taking the time for this video. How long will it run on a tank of fuel? Load / no load doesn't matter. I just bought one new in the box for $350.00 I'm hoping it will be the "goldilocks " I have a 1000watt that is quiet but not enough power & a 5000 watt duel fuel that is to loud.

I only use it when it's really needed and not tested this out precisely.
However, a full tank ( 2 1/2 gall) will easily do an 8 hour day and more.
      Hope this helps 👍

Looking forward to seeing your next episode. Generator for your barn and back up power supply? Can't remember I thought you also have solar for the rv. Thanks Don

      Hi Ron,
Generator is only for when I'm in the barn with no power.
For my power tools, hook up charging etc.
We are actually parked up in there for a month while I do the upgrades....!!!!
Got plenty of solar and B2B, but I'm static in that barn, so no good.

Nice to see you back. Why did you pick a compressor fridge. Do you have any calcs on power consumption?.
    Thanks in advance

      Hi Glyn,
Yes, done a few estimations of power usage.
Wont know exactly until I really test it though.
When it's running it's below 4amp. But being a compressor fridge it'll be mostly off.
So I'm calculating 10 hours running, 40 amps per day, which is easily recoverable via my solar and B2B.
Don't quote me though.! Time will tell.......

    Too noisy generator!
Is there anything that can be done to make it run a bit more quietly?

Its a Engine put it as Far as it needs to be for the Noise and Exhaust

Don't really think it's sold as a silent generator.?
However, it did echo quite a lot inside.
As I want purely for my power tools and to run the motorhome on hook up while I'm in the barn, it was perfect for the job.
I've have second thoughts using it at a campsite though.!!
ps: it not coming with us on our travels either, but for the job I needed it for it was perfect 👍
