I love that this 100+ year-old family business is not only still in business and still family-run, but thanks to the internet, able to test new flavors on a worldwide audience and sell their products far and wide. They deserve all the success a little family business can handle.
I love the place and the candy. I'm from Pittsburgh but I was in Syracuse for a few days last week helping my Son because he just had shoulder surgery, I knew the place was very close to where my Son lives so I ended up going twice. The place is very nice inside. I also got to meet the owners and they were super nice. The next time I am in Syracuse, I will be going there again. Anyways, thanks for giving me a sample of the ghost pepper candy. It was very good but also extremely hot.
I swear to God. I’ve been watching your videos since I don’t know when. Maybe like 5-6 years maybe more. Time flies. And I never get bored. I’m looking forward to see you guys hopefully soon. Greetings from Germany
The first food processors should have been sold with the line: “the vessel that ends the wrestle with mortar and pestle”. Love a hammer (or “persuader”) for letting out stress though. Either way, you crushed this. 🥰😋
my favorite ice cream flavor ever is espresso oreo....with a really strong coffee flavor. I make it myself because you don't really find it in stores. I strongly believe that combo would be great in dark chocolate form 😍😍
Hercules Candy has brought back so many memories for me as a kid growing up. I wish I was in New York to come over and get me some good candy for my birthday on the 29th of January which is on the last Wednesday of the month. I enjoy watching you all make candy 🍬🍭 on RUclips. God bless you all.
So they make pre-crushed Oreo bags that are cheaper than buying the Oreo bags and crush them yourself for restaurants same quality. Also I do this with rice crispy treats where I take the crushed Oreos and mix it in with the rice crispy treats just saying it’s my thing and I love it and then I take that and I did pass of it in milk chocolate and yeah I have no soul
I 1st saw this on SC & I fell in love with the molding/scooping process💙then saw y'all on FB & someone commented check out there YT 😮I skipped straight here & love that I get to see the molds being made & scooped all I want now💙😍 Thank y'all for this
It’s amazing watching your own ideas become reality! Awesome idea, Scott, they sound and look delicious! The dark gray cream is gorgeous! Also I love any video with starch molds. Looks so soothing to run your fingers through to pick up all the creams 😬. And the sifting and brushing! Ugh so satisfying 😅.
These should be called Scott's Special. They look amazing! Could you drizzle a bit of white chocolate on the white and dark chocolate? That way it would not be overpowering but have a bit of that zebra look.
Great video. I was thinking the Dark chocolate with a drizzle of white chocolate or milk chocolate with a dark chocolate drizzle. It all looks delicious. 😊
In Germany everything with chocolate cookies and vanilla cream (just like Oreo) is called "Cookies and cream" (ice cream, chocolate and the drops like yours) - they have to call it this way because Oreo is a brand of it's own - you can call yours "Oreo cream drops" because you used the original Oreos...
I thought about ordering post birthday candies from you guys until I saw that 80% of my budget would go to shipping to the uk. So it looks like I will be now ordering post Christmas candies and combine my money to get more out of the order 😅
Yes, waiting until you have more to order, or if you can go in on something with someone else is the best way to do it. The first bit is the most expensive, but it doesn't go up as much the more you add!
The gray mixture looks like a mushroom soup I made a couple of times. Just regular white mushrooms, onions, cream and maybe some stock or just water, boiled and then blended. It has the same gray look, but tastes great.
I knew that jellybeans and a few other candies are still made by starch trays because of Food Network, but they're all automated. The first time I ever saw anyone do it by hand was on this channel.
You have to plug it in then pedal the bicycle really fast! Thats how Hercules Candys gets there electricity! See the employees that said they left are really in the back chained to bikes pedaling away! As Steve laughs! Lolol
hope you're doing OK with the smoke in Syracuse today… When the wineries in our county get nailed with smoke, they certainly need to jump through some hoops to manage the smoke flavour in the wines coming from seasons with a lot of forest fires. I wonder if people will be able to taste that "vintage" of any candies you're producing during your super smoky times.
The Gram cracker probably went stale because they are pretty dry on their own but when dipped in chocolate they absorbed the moister from the chocolate and it changed the taste.
Do a grasshopper pie version. Half the mold with mint cream and then come after with the Oreo cream on top (to make the Oreo "crust" on the bottom of the "pie"), then dark chocolate cover.
I’m like Scott I’m not a vanilla fan it over powers a lot of things I hope you try to make the Oreo mint cookie or like he said in the beginning the nutter butter ones those would be delicious but no vanilla in these batches Oreo already has a vanilla flavor so it would over power the taste of the creams love you guys you come up with some really different ideals and that’s what candy making is all about ❤❤❤
I love your videos! You guys make me smile. I'm not a huge fan of white chocolate because I think it's too sweet and over powers the filling. I'll be trying these soon!!
When the only tool you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail. I would have opted for the white with drizzle, I need to trust the candymakers and go for the milk chocolate. Way to go Scott!
Randy Quench, Volunteer Fireman was from All That. _Not_ the Amanda Show It's confusing, because Amanda was on the original run of All That. Then _that_ run ended, and Amanda got her own show. Then the 2nd version of All That came out, with actor Jack DeSena (Soka in The last Airbender), originating his Randy Quench role. (a spiritual successor to the Repair Man-man-man bit from the original All That series). *Amanda wasn't in the 2nd series.
Dip them in black cocoa. It tastes like oreos. Is it double Dutch chocolate? I think? I just recently made a Swiss roll and it was soooo good!! Tasted like a cake oreo cookie
I love that this 100+ year-old family business is not only still in business and still family-run, but thanks to the internet, able to test new flavors on a worldwide audience and sell their products far and wide. They deserve all the success a little family business can handle.
"You want a spoon or something?"
I can hear Scott's thought of "YES YES YES!!” from here
Lol, Scott really is a kid in a candy shop 🤣
I heard him saying 'wait, i didn't know a spoon was an option' I love that he got to clean the dropper out at the end before they washed it..... LOL
Probably his favorite day at work so far 😂
Way cool
Congratulations
I hope Steve and Terrys kids keep passing this candy business going for all decades to come!!!
Cara is intending taking over from her parents.
Yep
What I love about these videos is that it feels cozy... the owners are very wise people. The dad, reminds me of my grandpa, miss him so much ❤
I agree i.was things that .y am i.relaxed watching these I love them I binge watched them today lol

There is something SO soothing about Steve doing the starch trays🥰🥰
He's so smooth!
@@HerculesCandy He IS🥰🥰

I'd love those with strawberry oreo cream filling!!!
What do we think of watermelon?
Or lemon
@@HerculesCandy no
@@HerculesCandy what about Maple! 😋
Try the gray stuff, it’s delicious! Don’t believe me, ask the dishes!
It's okay if people don't believe you, more for you!
I was thinking the same thing from Beauty and the beast!
I literally came here to make this exact comment…amazing!!!!

I hope you do get to make the trip soon!
Can believe I have been watching about 6-7 years
Und? Warst du tatsächlich dort?
And? Have you actually been there!
They look absolutely scrumptious, Scott. Congrats on the inception. 😊
I could watch the pouring into the starch for hours, just so damn satisfying lol
The first food processors should have been sold with the line: “the vessel that ends the wrestle with mortar and pestle”. Love a hammer (or “persuader”) for letting out stress though. Either way, you crushed this. 🥰😋
OMG! I just this moment got my delivery, and my warehouse folks are already hooked on them!
Coffee creams with Oreos would be crazy delicious!
my favorite ice cream flavor ever is espresso oreo....with a really strong coffee flavor. I make it myself because you don't really find it in stores. I strongly believe that combo would be great in dark chocolate form 😍😍

I love all the ideas your coming up with
We listen to everyone's ideas! Even the cameraman 😂
I'm finally traveling across the US to see your shop the end of July 😊
Is it just me, or is any footage captured within the starch room undeniably the epitome of serenity and tranquility?
#ASMR
It even sounds so calm and soft.
Just don’t sneeze…
Yes, I'm glad to finally have explained what this is. I thought they were creating ice molds with crushed ice.🙄
Asmr but not an annoying kind lol. A soft kind
I thought, "Wow, he drops that filling into the cornstarch molds so fast!" Then remembered I have the video on 2x speed.
8:43 " I think it's good"
Guys, you need to hold back Steve from his gushing self-praise !
🤣
16:16 "try the grey stuff it's delicious!" cookies in cream is what disney officially classifies "the grey stuff" as haha

Bet these taste fantastic! Always thought vanilla cream to be too sweet. Oreos will cut the sweetness down! Yummy 😊
Love that Coop! Hi everyone tell max hi to.

47 minutes in the happiest candy shop on Earth!❤
And in case you missed it,Scott is Sooooo excited!!!! 😂
Was he? I couldn't tell 😂
I love the cornstarch trays. It's rhe same satisfaction as building a sandcastle, except you get candy in the end.
I always get hungry watching your videos hahaha
It probably wouldn't be a good sign if you didn't 😂
Do a whole cookie drops series! Oreos, nutter butter, gingersnaps, etc
These should be called Scott's Special. They look amazing! Could you drizzle a bit of white chocolate on the white and dark chocolate? That way it would not be overpowering but have a bit of that zebra look.
I was thinking the opposite. Base of milk chocolate with a drizzle of white and dark to pay homage to the classic idea colors.
Scott clapping at the end is geigh
these look so good!! but i'm still petitioning to rename these to "Cookies IN Creams" 😉
Add another chocolate treat to my list🥰🤗
Looks great Craig❤
cookies and cream cremes! cookies and creme squared!
Its fun to watch yall try new stuff!!
Great video. I was thinking the Dark chocolate with a drizzle of white chocolate or milk chocolate with a dark chocolate drizzle. It all looks delicious. 😊
Watching this channel makes me want to work in a candy factory so bad I’ve always liked to see how things are made and how things turn out
In Germany everything with chocolate cookies and vanilla cream (just like Oreo) is called "Cookies and cream" (ice cream, chocolate and the drops like yours) - they have to call it this way because Oreo is a brand of it's own - you can call yours "Oreo cream drops" because you used the original Oreos...
oh my heck...those oreo creams look yummy
I think you should try enrobing them in flavored chocolates like mint chocolate, raspberry chocolate, and others. Either way this will be delicious!
Maybe you can do a white chocolate drizzle on top of the candies and draw a little circle on it, like an "O" for Oreo.
I thought about ordering post birthday candies from you guys until I saw that 80% of my budget would go to shipping to the uk. So it looks like I will be now ordering post Christmas candies and combine my money to get more out of the order 😅
Shipping chocolate long distances is not the cheapest sadly.
Yes, waiting until you have more to order, or if you can go in on something with someone else is the best way to do it. The first bit is the most expensive, but it doesn't go up as much the more you add!
15:53 “Scott’s Oreo Cream Drops” could also be known as “ Scott’s OCD’s”. Lol
Oh my these look amazing.
I just ordered 4 things from you guys! excited to try them!
The look so yummy 😋 thanks for showing us 🇦🇺💜
The gray mixture looks like a mushroom soup I made a couple of times. Just regular white mushrooms, onions, cream and maybe some stock or just water, boiled and then blended. It has the same gray look, but tastes great.
This is bringing back memories of you all working in your basement, good times.
Yep, nix the vanilla. These with just a bit of espresso powder dipped in dark.... yes!
I knew that jellybeans and a few other candies are still made by starch trays because of Food Network, but they're all automated. The first time I ever saw anyone do it by hand was on this channel.

😍😍😍😍😍
I can see people using Egg Cartons to make imprints too. Get their $$'s worth with the cost of Eggs now!🤭

Happy Father's Day June 18th 2023. To The Candy Man!! You know who you arelol😊
You should call them Oreo bombs.
The cutest candy tasting ever
I totally feel for Leah. My eyes are sweating 😮
I can only think of Beauty and the Beast. "Try the grey stuff, it's delicious!"
Scott needs to be blindfolded during taste testing to overcome his visual biases.
Man… never heard someone complain so much about vanilla 💀
WOW 👌🏻 😋😋
Just got my order up here in MN, and I agree, I want more Oreo flavor and less vanilla! But overall, they are scrumptious (and dangerous)!
You have to plug it in then pedal the bicycle really fast! Thats how Hercules Candys gets there electricity! See the employees that said they left are really in the back chained to bikes pedaling away! As Steve laughs! Lolol

33:19 LOL they do look like a little Army! lol
This all looks amazing, but to get any chocolate stuff I'll have to wait till mid winter to order any as the shipping to arizona is brutal🤣
Yum
Just placed an order and grabbed these. #SUPEREXCITED
Looking forward to the new video 😊😊😊🥰🥰🥰
When the only tool you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail. I would have opted for the white with drizzle, I need to trust the candymakers and go for the milk chocolate. Way to go Scott!
that? is absolutely spectacular.
Name….. Scotties dream drops.
I vote for coffee flavor to replace vanilla (tiramasu) and dark chocolate with a white drizzle
There is such a thing as chocolate extract, and it is delicious.
Maybe keep the zebra, but reverse it, dark chocolate with white chocolate drizzle.
Is it just me... or wouldn't it be easier to stick the labels before filling the bag???

Touch of expresso powder would probs have been good.
Dip them in black cocoa. It tastes like oreos. Is it double Dutch chocolate? I think? I just recently made a Swiss roll and it was soooo good!! Tasted like a cake oreo cookie
Add crushed peppermint candy to them for the win!
13:43 wow😂
Iam hooked on this show now
I would total want those if they were made of Hydrox instead of the knockoff brand.
ZEBRA . Handmade baby!
Edit: use the vanilla extract in a white drizzle. Subtle.
That zebra touch was seriously beautiful in ratio to labor. Wow.
if you want something as topper try dusting with cocoa powder
🎉Another great vidya, thanks Hercules family for brightening our days😊
I actually like stale oreos. They look delicious!
OK! I'm DROOLING! How about dark chocolate covered w/white stripes?
I remember the "AMANDA PLEASE" 🤓🤣
I know im way late on this but call them "Scotties"
